I think the most common psychic ability is empathy. The next easiest to learn is maybe being abel to feel the energy of transmissions (when you are given a transmission). The easiest way to improve that ability is by receiving many transmissions. The next easiest is maybe being able to sense spirits. Which is learnt by trying to summon and perceive spirits. For that, books like those from Damon Brand. All 3 of these are in the category of psychic perception. -

Sure. But I'm not sure whether I understand everything you wrote. What do you mean with that? How would they ruin the game? That depends on your natural tendencies. The way I see it, there are 2 main psychic abilities. Psychic perception. Being able to perceive psychic stuff. That includes: empathy, clairvoyance, seeing the future, seeing and hearing spirits, Intuition, tarot, telepathy, remote viewing... Psychic will power. That includes: Manifestation, telekinesis, levitation, psychic healing, turning water into wine,... By training one of the 2 basic psychic powers, you improve in all of its subpowers. The more you try to do a psychic power (like trying to be able to see spirits), the better you get at it. Like with any skill. But the most powerful way to improve psychic abilities is by invoking a spirit that has the power to increase one's psychic abilities. Like for example archangel Raziel. You would ideally summon and invoke that spirit every day for months. If you are not able to summon a spirit with your intention alone, you can try some methods like those from Damon Brand's archangel book. These methods work, but if you are not yet skilled enough, you won't perceive anything. But that changes overtime. -

Haha that's true. Though actually, my main reason for increasing my baseline is to become able to give strong transmissions. My goal is to be able to give transmissions that put you in nondual consciousness, regardless of your sensitivity or spiritual maturity. This is possible, and I know how to get there. -

I want my meditative highs to become baseline. I suppose I'm worse than a jhana junkie -

Your perspective/bubble is one bubble out of Infinite possible bubbles. But right now only this bubble exists. God, the whole ocean, became this one bubble. This is how God experiences every bubble, all of God Shapeshifts into it, and nothing else is left, because God can't split itself. There can always only be one Consciousness. But its also kinda true that there is more than one bubble, because God keeps shapeshifting into different bubbles, in that sense, all the bubbles exist. But always one at a time. I've explained all of that in more detail in that post I've mentioned above. -

Then you probably have poor dream recall . The better your dream recall the more vivid your dreams become. Most of my dreams are also less complex. But most of my DEILD lucid dreams are very vivid and detailed. Just like 'real life'. -

It is funny how most people have it backwards. They think spiritual people need to find scientific evidence for their spiritual awakening in order to validate it. But such procedures are completely meaningless. Actually, good scientists should try to find similarities with non-dual wisdom as a means to validate their scientific theories. -

Aren't your dreams similarly complex? -

@r0ckyreed Maybe this helps to understand what I wrote above: -

From a contemplative POV, you can't know whether external stuff exists or not. But if you increase consciousness, you will know for sure. This moment right here and now is God's point of view. This duality doesn't exist. There is not a sponge bubble and a sponge. The sponge bubble is the whole sponge. The way that the sponge bubble is created, is by the whole sponge shapeshifting into and becoming a sponge bubble. All of God becomes that one bubble. -

@Virgo Respect. I should do that too, but I'm too lazy. If I put pillows beneath my knees, my legs don't get numb. But after some time it gets uncomfortable nontheless. -

All existential science that doesn't mirror insights of mysticism is a joke. True. Humans can't understand how reality works. Luckily you are not a human, but God. -

Exactly. That's what this moment is. History and all that stuff is imagined to make the illusion of being a human who lives a life more convincing. -

God = Existence = Nothingness. Therfore God can't die. But when God imagines to be a human, God dies in some sense. Because God completely shapeshifts into that imagination. There is nothing behind the scenes, when God imagines to be not-God, all of God becomes not-God. In that way God can escape its eternity in some sense. But actually, not-God is still God, because all there is is God, therfore God can't actually become not-God. God can only create the illusion of becoming not-God (eg. human), and because imagination is reality, it becomes true in some sense. It's a bit paradoxical. -

Wow that's quite a lot. Do you plan to not sleep during that time? -

What state do you have in mind? realizing God while still being in your room with body sensations still there, or the formless Godhead without body sensations and room? You would need to be extremely talented to reach the formless Godhead with contemplation. Contemplation is not for reaching the formless Godhead. The strength of contemplation is to recognize God while all the perceptions remain (given your level of consciousness is high enough). If you want to reach the formless Godhead without psychedelics, I strongly recommend you look into SAT transmissions, lucid dreaming and sleep yoga. -

GreenWoods replied to Gianna's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You mean the formless Godhead? No body awareness and so on? Difficult without psychedelics. Contemplation is extremely unlikely to get you there. Your best bet is probably to induce it from within a lucid dream. And sleep yoga of course, but that requires a lot of effort (unless you are naturally talented). And SAT transmissions can help. If you mean God/Awarenss with your body and room still present, then that is a lot easier. Other practices might get you there too. -

What do you mean? You mean it is not possible to have an OBE without a astral body? I've read about people experiencing that. Essentially it's a bit similar to when you try to remote view. There are visual and auditory appearances without a body who perceives it and yet you are aware of them. Because perception doesn't exist, only direct awareness (/being/imagination). Correlation doesn't prove causation. Just because changes in the state of the body correlate with changes in appearances, doesn't mean that they were caused by those. For this dream/illusion to work, God creates the illusion of causation. If you eat you gain weight, if you fast you lose weight. But the food or lack of food was never the causation. It happened that way becauae God imagined it that way. God could just as well imagine that you lose weight when eating, and that you gain weight when fasting. But then the illusion of the dream wouldn't be as strong. Therefore it doesn't happen, unless God decides to lower the difficulty level of this dream/game. -

You can't argue like that because if everything is indeed Imagination, then that means that you are just imagining having experienced it hundreds of times. And actually you have experienced it 0 times. Consistency is an illusion. How can you trust memories? The proper mental state from where to start investigation should be of not trusting anything, no assumptions and not knowing. And in that state a memory of something that happened once has the exact same validity as a memory of something that consistently happened 1000 times. -

GreenWoods replied to Gianna's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You don't need a body to have an experience. For example, during an OBE, you can completely dissolve your body and all the visual and auditory appearances can remain. And actually this is also happening now. There are visual amd auditory appearances, and they are not perceived through the body. They exist independently of the body. Because the body is just yet another appearance/imagination. -

Nice! Anonther case of time dilation in an OBE. Yes, equally real. Realness has no degrees lol. You can do some day dreaming and invent an entire history. This history is as real as 'our' 'history' -

Isn't yoga nidra = sleep yoga? Yoga nidra has some relaxation practices which I haven't mentioned here. They don't have much value for the approach I've been focusing on in these posts. But for the classical WILD/AP approach, they can be useful. -

@peanutspathtotruth Yes. @Nahm Thanks! @mandyjw Every location has an energy. If the energy is very strong, it can affect you. So you could say the location is giving you a transmission. I'd love to visit Ramana's hill! -
