  1. @daramantus The room is a part of reality. Your retort is equivalent to me saying, “the whole number line is infinite,” and you coming back with, “but it isn’t. The number 3 is finite.” You cited a part as evidence to take down my argument for the whole. To that you may reasonably object with, “If reality is infinite, then there’s infinite energy and so, your room must contain an infinite amount of energy. Yet it doesn’t.” That objection is a common one that scientists use. It’s based on a misunderstanding of what an infinite reality would be like. An infinite reality wouldn’t be uniform or the same everywhere because that would impose a limit. For reality to be truly limitless, anything and everything (including finite things) must exist within it. To that, you might bring up another common objection that people use, “so if anything and everything exists, does that mean that an alien who destroys all universes exists? If so, why aren’t we dead?” This proposition completely bypasses what an infinite reality would entail. Yes, there’d be some alien (infinitely many) who go around destroying universes. Except, they’ll never get to all of them. Why? Because there’s infinitely many. No matter how many they destroy, there’ll always be more to destroy. Maybe we’re just in one of the universes that remains undestroyed
  2. It’s bottomless and goes down forever
  3. All things can be helpful or dangerous. Water can be used to hydrate or to drown. Should we stop drinking water? If opening your chakras hasn’t helped you, stop. If it’s helped others, let them continue.
  4. @Eu Sint One consciousness doesn’t mean that there can’t be many minds within that One Mind. “There are many drops of water in One Ocean.”
  5. No matter how much of infinity you explore, there’ll always be more
  6. @Nate0068 I’m going to give you the most radical answer but it goes straight to the heart of your question. Reality is infinite. So infinitely many types of beings exist. This means that, inevitably, there are types of beings who, if they visited this Earth, would look at it and see it as flat where humans see it as round. They would even walk on its surface in a way that matches walking on a flat surface.
  7. God is the whole infinite “dream” itself and God has nothing outside of itself. So it has nowhere else to go besides here and no one else to turn to besides itself
  8. Like @whosheartssaid, purging. It could also be what I cal spiritual growing pains. Sometimes self-expansion can be very hard on the body. Like stretching one of those rubber work-out thera-bands, there’s resistance that comes with building strength and that resistance can snap back occasionally.
  9. What death is just depends on what you consider your life to have been
  10. It’s simply because most people aren’t aware that plants and even rocks also have some degree of awareness
  11. I wouldn’t question it. It sounds like you’re just naturally very flexible
  12. Well somebody deleted my answer but luckily I have a screenshot...
  13. I can give my input on this answer too even though you want Leo’s. Yes, God will experience a being like Leo that blows up its world. In fact, God has already experienced infinitely many such beings, is experiencing infinitely many, and will experience infinitely many more in the future. However, that doesn’t mean that this Leo in this world is gonna do it
  14. He’s not saying that they can’t. He’s saying that they may not. So his argument addresses biological brains as well, not just artificial
  15. This has already been posted on the forum and Leo’s already seen it. His reaction: “Meditation is dangerous to a devil. What else is new?”
  16. The content that makes up forms (like your body) will never be destroyed. Even after your done with your body and it’s a corpse in the ground, the content that composed it still exists. Another reason for saying the body is eternal is because each moment exists forever. Even after you leave this moment behind, its existence is still preserved in a higher dimension. In other words, moments aren’t created as you live through life. You just snap from one frozen moment to the next which creates the perception of motion, change, and time. However, each of the moments that you experience already exist before you snap into them and still exist after you snap out of them. Leo may have another reason for saying what he did but these are just a couple of my reasons for agreeing with that statement.
  17. It’s awful that he’s that aggressive with her. Hopefully the divorce will bring some relief. It sounds like your daughter’s able to brush off stuff pretty quick too!
  18. My parents had to deal with a ton of this when I was a kid. My mom was more open-minded than my dad, so she was the one that I usually talked about this stuff with. That’s the main thing she did. She just remained open-minded and when I brought up an experience that I thought was no big deal, she encouraged me to talk more in-depth about it. This was one of the ways that I found out my experiences weren’t typical. This caused a chain-reaction of me bringing up crazier and crazier stories to her and there was a point where she actually started to get worried. It was too much for her despite how open-minded she was. This caused us to get into a couple of arguments at times while my dad would just joke around about me being an alien Lol (not in a mean way... he actually seemed convinced which was kinda eerie). Yet, despite the challenges that my mom faced with confronting how radical everything that I told her was, she continued to let me talk about as much as I could and continued to listen intently. Now she trusts me completely and actually comes to me with some of her questions. This alone, I think, has been enough. And it sounds like you’re not only listening to and trusting your daughter but also spiritually helping her with your own abilities. This is already much more than my parents could’ve done. Even as a very young kid, I was left to face the nightmarish side of the spirit world on my own. I had encounters with frightening beings that other kids my age wouldn’t face for another decade (when they were old enough to enjoy horror movies). So the fact that your daughter doesn’t have to go it alone is spectacular for her. In my opinion, you’re going above and beyond the mark??
  19. So it looks like Leo, Inliyghtened, and I are all in agreement. Who says Nondualists can’t be consistent with each other? ?
  20. Nothing can grasp infinity from the outside. So nothing can grasp it completely
