It's nice if you're alone and have space imo. When i trip it's really dramatic, dancing moving laughing crying and I don't like people looking at me while I go through that process.

Thanks for sharing your viewpoints. Don't get me wrong. I've had amazing revelations from psychs that would've been very difficult through meditation, but not impossible. How many of you have really spent 14-21 days in complete silent meditation? It does amazing things. I've never had 5 MEO so this i can't speak on. I just feel like they can cause a dependency when i feel it's much more powerful to 100% rely on yourself That said i don't discount their legitimacy but it does seem like Leo has said meditation is a waste of time, which is absolute bullshit

Yes there is a book on this. I forget the name it was about organic dying

@Breakingthewall get what you guys are saying but the point is that the sun (awareness) shines regardless of the state. There can be 1 cloud let's call that Bliss, sun still there , there can 100, depression, but the sun is still there. So the sun, awareness, YOU is always the case , the clouds come and go -

Super obvious. But he also has some good points and insights from what psychedelics have shown him. It's just when he makes it about him that it's obnoxious -
Pleasure, confidence, energy. For those who don't have it. No need for it these days.

A few things; -You wont be able to really experience the trip, your friends will be distracting you. Don't expect to contemplate much or connect with the medicine deeply - Seeing that you're out in public away from a bed. It could go bad and you could potentially have a rough time. Personally I hate tripping in public. Get way too tripped out. But having friends with you could help If you're doing it just for fun or a good time it should be fine and could be great. Just have your own space and don't take too much. Less is more

Maybe I'll do psychedelics like 3,4 times a year

Yeah, couldn't agree more. It's going to sound cliche but I feel like there is something more pure about gaining insights and wisdom and consciousness sober. Totally on your own. I've heard a teacher once say that these substances have their own consciousness and we don't fully understand them or why they show us these things. Sounds a bit paranoid but I've had experiences with plants that felt downright malicious as well as God like and beautiful. I still plan to use them. I think they can be beautiful and revel things that I'm not seeing as well as re spark love for this work. But see it as more like watching a cool movie or something. Not seriously using it or depending on it for consciousness work. These days i just say to myself life is the psychedelic and there is no reason God would make it impossible to become conscious of things sober and through hard work. My meditations these days are pure Bliss. Heaven. I'm 7 years in and have clocked in 5-6K hours. Leo is a genius though and I doubt he is wrong. He has obviously thought and contemplated extensively on this material, i try to not rule anything out. But dismissing meditation like he does is kinda lame and close minded.

But they aren't states it's just becoming more aware of what is already the case; IE; removing the clouds. It can't be a state -

@Water by the River Wow. Thanks for that explanation. You clearly know your shit well. This is pretty much exactly how my teacher explains it. Except regarding the psychedelics, but it sounds like Hawkins where as you get higher on the scale of consciousness, even an increase of .001% is massive and if you are low an increase of 5% is pretty small in terms of behavior and connection to God. My question; do you think there is a point where psychedelics are actually setting you back? Throwing you off momentum? Not helping? Cheerz -

It's safe to assume that Ralston got nothing wrong. Read his books and you'll know. None of you are even close to as conscious as him -

My teacher told us that if we unconsciously kill anything like a bug or something to look at it after. Look at the mosquito and it may still be writhing in agony, notice that it has eyes like you. That is all. No rules on what to do, but just observe. I still kill mosquitos all the time by the way -
Don't be a fucking creep. Wtf kinda post is this?

Basically heroine. Fuck that

I read a few articles. Pretty toxic

So far, it's fucking amazing.

It's 100 % what you make it of it. Self improvement videos alone could turn a loser living in his basement into a millionaire if he actually applies himself. Funny thing is if you just read 4-5 books on self improvement and really applied it it's all you'd need, but we need repetition and reminders because the old brain grooves and laziness are such strong beasts

Solid. It's half off right now so I might get it. Thx

Thx. And it's solid quality material?

@Yimpa Yeah if you sleep at night with earplugs and all your windows blacked out and a face mask you'll have the best refreshing recharging sleep of your life. Trust me. Game changer. @AlterEgo You'd be surprised by what you can easily handle and even enjoy. Once you get through the first layers of fear and terror (first few days) it's mostly bliss. I just completeled a 21 day silent retreat and I wish I could've stayed longer, it was one of the happiest I've ever been -
I did a 4 day dark room retreat, it was the most powerful and transformative experience I've had. You go to another level of depth and surrender and 2 days in i was having a full on DMT/ Ayahuasca trip I plan to do 30 days in darkness in the near future. Also funny is Leo posted this article from Hridaya in Mexico a while back: "Reflections On A 40-Day Dark Room Retreat" Hridaya is an incredible school. It's catipulted my spiritual growth. Weird coincidence. Highly recommend to anyone looking to go deep in a living container. Funny how small the non dual world is

I've been to parties like this where the vibe is actually about love and peace. I think Vice likes to make things look worse than they are, but idk rainbow gathering maybe they're worse
