  1. I see a lot of back and forth and disagreement between “non dualists” and Leo and what he’s doing/teaching. It seems Leo has dropped non dual study and teachings and is much more interested in exploring consciousness for its own sake. The non dualists like Water By The River and Osaid are saying this is going deeper into Maya, Illusion and is thus pointless while Leo is saying they are lost in non dual brainwashing. I see it like this; the spiritual path of awakening has been laid out and mapped by many mystics and traditions. Many can follow this and realize it (to various degrees) and awaken as much as possible in this life (awakening just being how deeply they are in the infinite stillness or nothingness) This is the original wisdom and spiritual path. This is what I and others here (the “non dualists” resonate with) Then you have these powerful psychedelics which can show you aspects of infinite mind never before seen or available. 5MEO and other psychedelics are relatively new. And what Leo is doing is basically being a pioneer in this study. He’s like the Lewis and Clark of consciousness. A very cool and courageous exploration. I admire that. But it’s still mind, it’s still “Maya” albeit fascinating and mind blowing aspects of it. The question is not whether one is right or wrong but what you are interested in. Why is non duality more “right” than consciousness exploration? Personally I have no interest in exploring all the nooks and crannies of mind, I’d rather kick it on the beach and soak in the bliss of Being and Master that, and teach it. But that’s my preference. So let’s appreciate Leo’s exploration and bear the fruits of his insights rather than throw tomatoes at him. One Love BlessedLion
  2. Also the community hangs together so you see them everywhere. And the locals are chill. It’s unlikely you’ll find anywhere in the world where you aren’t integrated with other stages. And it’s all peaceful and respectful for the most part. I love the locals in Mazunte
  3. @quantumspiral that’s true, the locals in Mazunte are definitely Blue and even Red in some cases, but the expats that are there are distilled and most are Green some even Yellow and Turquiose. Like the senior teachers at Hridaya for example. And of that population like 90% are Green, a much higher statistic you’ll find in any city. For me it’s a great environment to be in because these people inspire me and are on my level of growth and consciousness. I can sit at any cafe and have a conversation about life purpose, the nature of God, or Tantric Sex with almost any random stranger. It’s truly a dream.
  4. I’m ever grateful for Leo’s teachings but I’m also very glad to have found 2 advanced Masters and schools in real life. These helped me to witness embodied spirituality rather than a virtual relationship with Leo. I think having a spiritual teacher irl is absolutely necessary for the path, having wise people directly give you feedback is so powerful. They also led me liberation just by training with them, I never would’ve got there without a school, community, and teachers to guide me. A bad side of Leo’s teaching is the emphasis on psychedelics. He acts like it’s impossible to become realized without 5 MEO and I can’t help but imagine where he would be if he never did those drugs. I’ve found the deepest connections to life and God are actually happening when I’m sober and just trusting life. The arrogance can be annoying He seems to have a disdain for humanity which can cause you to start hating humanity instead of seeing it as perfect and loving them as you Assuming he’s more awake and wise than the greatest minds of history
  5. Ah maybe I read into it wrong or too literally. I can get defensive with Ramana, that’s my dude 😎
  6. Sorry to hear that, stay strong and focus on what’s real, don’t let the mind carry you away. Go for some walks if you can get some time.
  7. The stupidity…you guys trash talking Ramana Maharshi is just so cringe. Like I’m cringing for you. This is one of the greatest most selfless mystics who ever lived. He was Unconditional Love in the human form. He wasn’t a person way beyond being human. Even animals felt his presence and he had an effect on them, he spent his whole day answering students questions and wouldn’t even sleep so that he’d be available 24/7 for any student who needed him. Do some research before you spout your ignorance so proudly.
  8. This is more like what Ralston teaches
  9. I would say it’s infinitely impersonal. It’s so impersonal that it’s literally nothing
  10. This is exactly the type of conversation I was hoping to spark with this post. Thanks guys. Selling hyenas by the Lions Den
  11. @Thought Art yeah it’s much more subtle than people realize. It’s only when I raised my consciousness and sensitivity that I saw how badly it was effecting me and especially my sexual health and intimacy
  12. I’m now 82 days free of Porn and can officially say it’s extremely harmful. It fucks up your sexual energy in many ways
  13. I’m not but my little brother is in Venice and it sounds awful. Im going to Boulder in a few weeks, there is a cool Green vibe there but it isn’t quite as authentic as I find in towns like Lake Atitlan or Mazunte. But I’m sure you can find your peeps. Austin, I’ve heard has gotten super crowded and techy. I lived there for 7 years so likely wouldn’t go back. I heard Santa Fe, Sedona, And Nevada City are all cool too I’m in Brazil now
  14. The duality in which you’re typing on a keyboard. The duality in which if I come to with a hammer you will duck.
  15. Then we agree to disagree 👍 If someone is going to teach me, especially in the field of spirituality, I hold them to a ridiculous standard of integrity and excellence
  16. For sure. And yes, consciousness study is the motha fuckin shit!
  17. I think there is room for that if the practitioner is very mature and intentional with the use. That this is for awakening and eventually dropping it. I think 5MEO has that potential based on what I’ve studied, but there’s a huge risk of getting lost in it like Leo because it’s so hard to get those awakenings sober
  18. Him hosting retreats and writing books is essentially saying “I have wisdom and spiritual truths and can lead you to those.” Im amazed how many of you guys are excusing this behavior from a spiritual teacher.
  19. Okay guess we just won’t see eye to eye on this. Can agree to disagree. I won’t put more energy into it
  20. “Anything impermanent is not worth pursuing” Ramana
  21. You must be deeply unaware of how you’re coming of in social situations
  22. Better in Latin America. You’ll probably struggle in the US with it being from another country and not having much skill with it. But you can always learn and will get some luck. These days it’s more like top 1% of men getting laid and 99% left out. Brutal
