I second this. Having solid community is huge for deep spiritual growth. I no longer associate with people who would gaslight or disrespect my views, not that they can’t disagree, but outright meanness is no longer something I tolerate in people I associate with.

I’m financially independent and I spend my days meditating reading studying personal development walking in nature working out having sex and creating videos on topics I’m passionate about. It’s fucking awesome. And I’m not mega rich. I just have enough to live simply and do what I love (listed above) which is worth more than billions imo

I’ve been in Latin America for 5 years now. It’s fucking amazing. I’m between Mexico and Brazil but mostly Mexico. Although I’m in Brazil now, and my God, the women here make it almost worth it solely for that purpose. I didn’t know what a true woman was until I came down here. Pros Weather Cost Vibes (everyone is friendly and happy, mostly) Expat communities (it’s like the children of lost island who ran away from the psychotic West) THE WOMEN so feminine bronze and sexy and also very developed in some areas, as developed as women in the west just hotter and more fun and better at sex Ease of Life (I feel little stress, people don’t stress like they do in the US) Fast paced (life goes quick, in a flow) Safe (I actually feel safer in my town in Mexico than I do the US, for Rio it’s another story) Cons Always being the Gringo or foreigner Loud Things are less efficient Less quality dental and medical care but much cheaper Honestly since moving to Latin America im so much happier I feel like this is actually where I’m from and was supposed to be I never felt like I fit into the US everyone here has such open hearts and function on respect, kindness, and Love, it’s like they are spiritual without meditating. And one more time, The women are absolute Godesses

Interestingly enough, nobody gaslights or gives me shit for my beleifs. And I’m spouting God Realization like it’s nobody’s business. I’ll tell my own father, a PHD in Physics that science is wrong and he’s God and he’ll actually consider it. All the women I meet are just totally open to my rankings about Love and God The reason? My guesses A) This might sound inflated but maybe I’m transmitting an energy or embodiment that makes it believable B) I’m hanging around high quality people who at least have open minds C) they think I’m nuts so just smile and nod along

Why the crusade against the ego? When a person realizes their God existentially, what else are they supposed to do? This whole attitude of needing to be quiet and humble about it is frankly quite annoying.

@bambi I understand what you’re requesting but it’s hard to answer. It’s like requesting me to draw in a page the dimensions of the depths of the ocean. I’ve spent 6 weeks with Ralston in person and read all his major books, some many times over. Slowly he begins to change your whole way of thinking and looking at reality. I can tell you it is NOT like other spiritual books, at all. It’s another beast completely. He fucks your whole mind open. On his retreats I had awakenings daily, and it’s not just enlightenment. We dove into the illusory nature of language, identity, emotions, space, social constructs, perception, basically how the whole thing works, not just what it is (awareness, nothingness)- as other spiritual books and @Water by the River would tell you

@MsNobody I felt that way when I started Religion of Tomorrow, but Wilber is top 3 in the world, at least in teachers. He has such a deep grasp on all of this material and is the only teacher to truly lay out and address both the horizontal (being a human) and vertical (being consciousness) He does seem to struggle with making it understandable and easy to read but I think that’s just because he’s such a genius.

This is the point though! The point is to wave surf! Do you think God (You) is stupid and would just create the waves for something to be tireing? It’s imporant to know how the car functions (wheels/enlightenment) but take the fucking thing for a drive and explore the roads. I think this is what Leo is saying he’s doing. Enlightenment is important but it’s kinda like once you get it, go explore.
