I could agree that can happen as there's enough evidence showing weighted resistance does this, but I think it's wolf's law that is what's making this happen. Also because of wolfs law we had the iron palm or the old school karate of breaking hard objects I think. Where isometrics fits in is that the nervous system is lighted up by the mind/brain connection, and the antagonistic muscles are under tension, and because one muscle wants to contract another way, and it's opposite the other way, the arm for example is stable in space but under tension. That's why sometimes isometrics is also called still or stable training versus dynamic training which you're probably referring to. I personally do isometric until failure, and overcoming isometric for strength specifically, and if I can I do 1-2 minute long push up or other types of exercises.

@Raze IMO Ivanka's post is fine, nothing wrong with that. Destiny's post makes Ivanka's look normal. @Rafael Thundercat It's semantics and words that have similar meanings. What you call colonization, and what you described above, contrasting the 2 there, on that later half I refer to and others as a 'soft invasion'. By soft invasion, the other culture assimilates another culture, but through a decades long transformation, slowly changing the original culture in decades and in generations even, in the schooling system, to spreading of religion, to winning small favors here and there, maybe playing the victim to earn sympathy, changing the language, just slow changes over time...until the native majority becomes the minority in several decades. Same tactics were done in Russia and even in China. Of course I am not describing replacement theory, or how the the whites will go extinct as some global elite plans and blah blah. IMO ridiculous theory, it's actually Neoliberals destabilizing the foreign countries which makes immigration much more so, among other factors. In a different context, if you look at 2 crime events, one involves intimidation/threats and even some roughing up, but the 2nd crime is more softer, coercion and blackmail, just soft underhanded methods instead of the violent ones. This is the different between Andrew Tate and some actual serial killer and mass murderer, one's very extreme and the violence is obvious, whilst Andrew's is mostly subtle in how he pimps the girls, how he evades taxes. One's a clear psycho killer, the other a con artist grifter.

@Gennadiy1981 Technically this started about 80 years ago in the Al Nakba and a few years after it. Why I say about 80-100 years is that's about a generation and a half ago, more relevant than when that Israel defense lawyer was whataboutism on history and stretching this conflict all the way back to 3,000 or so years ago, or jumping from one conflict to another in that ICJ trial. No that case is specifically focused in on at least the first 80 years, and all the events within that timeline and which pertains to genocidal acts and genocidal events. Even soft genocide like displacement, extreme difficulty returning to your own property, high controls on food and water supplies in Gaza, segregation within Israel society and very marginalized Arab or Muslim representation within Israel, and how there's a pattern that matches up to Apartheid in South Africa. Yes it's not exactly like Africa in every detail, but there's a very similar pattern of thinking, genocidal language from Netanyahu, disproportionate death toll of civilians and unarmed combatants to armed combatants, and displacement.

@Yimpa Based on Biden's body language and tonality, he's at least telling the truth. There were moments of defensiveness and hesitancy especially at the end when that reported question if this was an assassination attempt, you see him close his eyes a bit longer, mouth agape, very slight shake of head. Firstly in body language analysis general closing down gestures like arms crossed, or chest in and huddled, or stance bladed, or you look away or down, hands maybe blocking or shielding face, and eyes closing for a bit longer, are signs of defensiveness. Especially wit eyes closed like that is the attempt to distance and disassociate from reality and close off information. Mouth agape like that is similar to an epistemic shrug, shrugging, mouth shrugging, that all means Biden has nothing to add or say and then felt surprised and even horrified still of what happened.
