  1. What do you think @Leo Gura? Pretty accurate?
  2. @BaldJesus Pretty good music and production! Should be Actualized.org's national anthem!
  3. Is it ethical or moral to continue using A.I drawing programs, knowing the usage would increase the probability of replacing Digital artists?
  4. A good video for you pro A.I people:
  5. @Tahuti Yes, nobody would bat an eye if an A.I. program took his music and mix it with thousands of other music it takes.
  6. @Tahuti While the hours spent of prompting is a weaker issue of this, I think the bigger issue is the A.I program using many works os art on online spaces, with some of the artists not knowing their work is getting used.
  7. @illusory I'm also curious of the legal repercussions of when an A.I. program searches for 100s to 1,00,00s of images online, and some of them owned by artists and trademarked. There's the copywrite issue and such. Also, art competitions would probably feel this impact a bit more, as you really don't know who's genuinely drawing, vs a person just prompting the A.I programs for nice images. It reminds me of cheaters who use A.I programs in chess and chinese go, it ultimately ruins the fun of the game, like what's the ppint of playing chess and other games when you can just let the A.I do all the work for you? I am afraid most drawers would be asking this question, whether there was a point to their 10, 15, 30 or so years of art, if a machine can do it better.I can see how it would increase laziness and lack of care for an image collectively, even though art is subjective, like Vaush said, it's the communication and intent of the art making in the first place, and the increasing uncertainty of whether it's a human or a machine that did the work. I don't know, feels like stealing to me, very subtly form of it, like React YouTubers that steal content.
  8. Well, this why trolling is dangerous.
  9. @Ulax Yeah, I thought the blog posts were supposed to be insights? And not emotionally unhinged outbursts? Yeah, we somehow went on the wrong path of this visual novel...
  10. Ladies and Gentlemen, every human being is individually unique, and do share similar and different types of intelligences, not to mention other developmental factors involved. Take for example this image: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.adioma.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F03%2F9-types-of-intelligence-infographic.png&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.adioma.com%2F9-types-of-intelligence-infographic%2F&tbnid=FRhRpGZZKgoJ7M&vet=12ahUKEwjn1aSvhI76AhUGeBoKHTi_DbEQMygAegUIARDZAQ..i&docid=IhMklD9_nrSmTM&w=1000&h=998&q=multiple types of intelligence&ved=2ahUKEwjn1aSvhI76AhUGeBoKHTi_DbEQMygAegUIARDZAQ Plus, neurodivergence of each person's mind, flavors whatever you interpret spirituality as. However, socialization has its benefits, Bodhisattvas still and do social gatherings to share what insights they have to those willing to listen.
  11. @Space Also interested in what you thought of his take on this as well:
  12. @DrugsBunny Agreed. I see some bring up the 'art is subjective, therefore your critic is invalid and unsound' line, in order to defend and justify their use of A.I. drawing programs as good, that doesn't take away other types of digital art jobs. It's the same line of reasoning that YouTube Reactors use to justify their use of a YouTube content creator's video, while denying that they are taking away their potential audiences, like the followi I can't fully explicitly tell how this relates to the A.I. drawing issue, but I can intuit that some theft is being committed to Artists here, and the dangers of not developing one's drawing abilities. Also, this video below, more related to the A.I. issue: While I do have a bias against Vaush, I do agree with him here. Very good takes here and there.
  13. @ZzzleepingBear And this is what I've been trying to point out. It's so easy to justify laziness this way, just type a few words, A.I. generates image, yay I'm an ARTIST!
  14. @BartekD Welcome to the paranormal club, where if you have had a spiritual/paranormal problem and ask mainstream sources for help, most would turn you away. Yelp.com has professional mediums and psychics if you want to know more about this particular occurrence. Searching for a hypnotist could also be viable, as you said this event happened so long ago in your childhood that a hypnotist might be able to help you remember that event more clearly.
  15. There was someone I hated for what that person did to one of my family members, but when I heard that that person's grandmother passed away violently in another country, I shut my mouth and kept quiet, because whether it's superstition or something to do with karma, I knew that something was at work that made that outcome come true, so from that point I made that rule of not being distasteful when someone dies. Maybe this is what was really triggering me here, and to see how people are inviting a negative karmic backlash like this, is concerning, in a forum that is spiritual, this should be obvious.
  16. @Roy Fair enough, I mean he did say this forum has a left leaning bias, so I should have expected this level of respect, but I am still surprised people celebrate a person's passing, it's just distasteful, but maybe that's an internet norm or something. But hey! Continue, don't let me ruin your parade, and to other users who want to party. Just saying this may give the wrong impression of what Actualized.org is for newcomers, see this behavior, and either get rejected by it, or party with little consideration of the immorality of the acts.
  17. @Thought Art I don't, or won't, know? Why is A.I created art valid, but not human created art? Personally, I clearly, see the artistry and taste in stealing an artist's work for my video thumbnails, way better than forging a painting, breaking into an art gallery, swapping the original for the fake, and auctioning that in the black market. So much easier, just worded prompt here and there, zero hassle.
  18. @Aaron p 1. Unless the child specifically wants that gender identity and wants the hormonal treatment. The catch 22 here though, is that most children don't know enough nor are able to make their own decision for the path of their entire life, which then puts partial responsibility for the child's guardians to help them think through those decisions. 2. I would say abortion should be allowed if the mother's life is in danger, has been sexually assaulted and forced to be pregnant against her will, or too young to be carrying a baby. Also, I would say the first week to 1 month for the abortion, but past that and the fetus thing in question looks like a human baby. 3. I don't understand your question, do you mean to genocide all gender related mental disorders? 4. I speculate its social media induced, but there are other factors like dysfunctional relationships or family traumas and such, too many reasons why there's a suicide rate increase in these cases. 5. Context sensitive. For example, some tribal person who grew up in a tribe, in a third world country, migrating to the USA and doesn't know there are these bunch of pronouns, gets a pass for me. Do you mean legal punishment for not knowing a pronoun? Or do you mean public punishment and public humiliation?
  19. What are your thoughts on this? Another Sam Harris vs Deepak Chopra essentially?
  20. @zurew Easy argument to make. I use dictionaries, thesauruses and Rhyming dictionaries to create my rap songs, when I exhaust most of my native language use in a free style. So, dictionaries, physical and internet, are useful because I sometimes run out of words to use in my song. Another example, a person is not native English speaker, therefore the English dictionary is useful as a learning tool and a way to check for spelling errors. Almost every successful civilization has some form of cataloging system they created, other than a dictionary, and the utility is hard to deny.
  21. @Thought Art Yes, they become super leeching humans, obfuscating the majority of the hard work that comes with being an artist. Not saying that all the minutiae should be consciously inputted and outputted by a human mind, I'm specifically saying that we should be extremely careful with outsourcing our drawing and artistic abilities to A.I. programs and call that lazy approach art and justified because art is subjective. It's the same BS when a YouTube React justifies their theft and leeching of other YouTube Content they are reacting to. I agree, but not the humans that leech.
  22. If it isn't obvious, I am for regulation of technology, the internet and against many forms of misuse of all the technologies, including A.I. and how A.I. programs are slowly to quickly taking over human jobs. We still are increasing human population while we have A.I. related social problems.
