That's the only direction that makes sense to them, because they have lost literally everything. It's basically the greatest Faustian deal they got, they lost nearly everything for one dream they're trying to make and keep reality. And now because they're that buried in the quicksand, down is the only way to go even if it drags others nearby. A downward spiral we go...

And if they do, and will, refuse, what will you do about it? Also that's a big IF to drops in procreation. And people living longer doesn't increase population, it's mostly the factor of birthrates and marriage and traditional values followed by a community that incentivizes those values. Living longer here...feels like to me you not only are anti natalist, but hate old people too right?

Because this type of talking point, if we use Spiral Dynamics for a bit, is lofty stage green/yellow value talking points. Sounds nice and Utopia, but let me be blunt, the majority of high birthrate places come from 3rd world countries like in Africa, in the middle east theocratic countries, which many large families, with traditional values that they enforce in their region. So, when a 1st world western democratic feminist egalitarianist liberal like you, comes along with lofty talking points like that, and they refuse to listen to your over worldly concerns about global climate, environmental issues, human rights because your fantasy may threaten their lives and livelihood, what will you do? Change their ways with no enforcement arm? What if stage red/blue refuses to listen to someone spouting stage green/yellow points, that even stage orange was warning the higher stages about?

For example then Switch, kick, even nowadays like YT, Tik Tok and other social media cultures you mostly have immature spoiled brats that follow influencers, and all that para social relationship is toxic, language is toxic, and almost any immature take of an influencer or streamer is cringe AF. Anything streaming should be taken with a truck load of salt...

@RightHand That's fine, but I don't like how they're still immature minded, on average, and are being manipulated by those game companies. It's a slippery slope to me. And I can relate because I am a gamer myself, and love playing games but I don't like what companies do to gamers.

@CARDOZZO I am a stage orange/blue, few stage red if you piss me off, also I think in images more than words, morally relative, am introverted, open minded, orderly, mostly agreeable, mid neurotic. I also have mild schizophrenia, survivor of a few paranormal events, some degree of psychopathy, am opportunist/conformist ego stage from Jane Loevinger's 9 stages of ego, too many shadows to count. I am blessed with good genetics and good life so far, and good brain/mind space enough to follow those stage yellow systems thinkers. Yeah, that's mostly it.
