  1. @Average Investor Why are you fear mongering? As you can see above, many safe, natural healthy foods contain up to 5 to 10 times more lead than these "evil" protein powders. Stop adopting Leo's beliefs like a sheep & think for yourself!
  2. @Michael569 Do you agree? The logic is straight forward.
  3. If 1 apple has more Lead content than taking Apple extract then that 1 apple is more harmful. Likewise with Protein Powder vs "real foods". @Michael569
  4. You already know my opinion. Even though 75% of plant-based protein powders have "measurable levels of lead", those "measurable levels of lead" are less than many common foods. Check the sources above.
  5. @Michael569 You seem to be biased against Protein Powders yet all these Protein Powders contain less lead than many of the health foods you would recommend. Admit your bias.
  6. @Preety_India yet this is how "health experts" like @Michael569 thinks. It's fear-based thinking. If I shouldn't eat protein powder, then I shouldn't eat Spinach either.
  7. @Michael569 These studies were done by a leading third-party independent testing agency, not GOL. Not any worse than common foods we all eat. Check the numbers my friend.
  8. Leo doesn't believe in a "Safe" level of heavy metal contamination. He paints it out like it's an absolute truth, but that's just his belief. He should be honest that it's just a belief and that he doesn't really know for sure.
  9. @Something Funny yea but you have no reason to believe such a thing if you don't really know. it's blind feeling.
  10. @Something Funny ok so then why were we going back and forth this whole time.
  11. @Something Funny you agree with this
  12. @Loving Radiance am i only making sense to myself?
  13. @Something Funny I'm talking in circles
  14. @Something Funny I'm taking a risk. How much of a risk? You don't know. I don't know.
  15. Because everyone is different. What a "Safe" dose might do to you over decades, might not do to me. The point is no one knows since it varies on a individual basis. If you want to veer on the side of safety, then avoid it completely. But that's your personal choice.
  16. Don't make this personal. I'm just being skeptical. @Something Funny
  17. @Something Funny heavy metals do accumulate in the body. That's undeniable. Heavy metals in high doses are bad for your health. That's also undeniable.
  18. @undeather I never said Salmon is good. I'm saying I don't know, and it probably depends on the individual. @Something Funny won't admit that he doesn't know. He thinks he knows.
  19. Me and you are in agreement. This is all I was trying to say the entire time! @undeather
  20. This is your belief based on your personal preference of eering on the safe side. You don't actually know this. @Something Funny
  21. You calling my belief "dumb" is your personal preference. @Something Funny
  22. @Carl-Richard There isn't a "higher" risk. The risk of consuming trace amounts of heavy metals is unknown.
