  1. I'm currently taking the LP course and I'm a little confused here. By reading some books, it seems to me that the biggest and highest life purpose for everybody is awakening, understanding and mastering life in all aspects. And then being able to help others on their journey to awakening by whatever means you do it. I mean, whatever your life purpose is right now, it might feel incomplete or inferior if you compare it to actually awakening, understanding all of reality and helping others raise their consciousness as well. I'm still very early on the course so don't mind me if I'm making a newbie mistake here.
  2. @-Rowan I think you're absolutely right man, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. You made me rethink that question, almost to the point of wanting to delete the post, lol. I will find out what my authentic desires are. Thanks again.
  3. Check out SashaDaygame, I love his energy, although his newer videos are not about pick-up because now he's into awakening and other stuff. His old videos are about talking to people, approaching girls and whatnot were great and just not the typical advice PUA give.
  4. INFINITE OPTIONS BROTHER! You could join a dancing class, a yoga class, an acting class, martial arts, learn how to play an instrument, learn how to sing, learn a new language, play a sport, travel, date, make friends, do pick-up, meditate, read, write. Whatever you want, just expand your world.
  5. I would say you have to discover that for yourself man. As soon as you do, that's your path right there. Because that might vary from person to person.
  6. I started writing my negative thoughts and limiting beliefs and what I found is that when a negative thought came up I instantly recognized it as a stupid construction of my mind.
  7. That's great man, you seem like you're on the right track. I also have a couple of hobbies that I could easily turn into careers/life purpose like dancing and teaching English, but I'm not sure as to that is what I want the most, which is why I posted this. Thank you for your feedback!
  8. Maybe you are showing them too much love and treat them as if they were everything you had. So you come off as someone who depends on her to be happy. When they feel like they mean everything to you, they no longer want to work on the relationship because they already won you entirely. Have a rich life outside the relationship, hobbies, a nice career/purpose, friends, etc. I also think this is key, especially when it comes to sex.
  9. I think you're right, ultimately, life purpose is all about contributing to others in the best way I can. I'm curious, did you take the course? Are you living your life purpose right now? That's beautiful, thank you @Shin, you just motivated me Man that's an important distinction, I hadn't thought about it that way. Thank you!
  10. @arlin I think addiction can not be overcome so easily as the nofap movement promises to do, and I'm saying this because I've tried it. Even if you do get rid of porn in your life, you'll find another thing to get instant gratification from like food, video games, alcohol, social media or whatever to compensate for your miserable life. These days I would say everyone is addicted to something because very few people are living truly passionate lives. I would say porn, food or video games are not intrinsically bad, it all comes down to how you use them in your life. I also agree with Leo on this: If you tell yourself you're being seriously affected by your habit of jerking off, then guess what? it's going to affect you.
  11. I've just started the concepts part of the course and currently reading a book recommended in one of the videos. I'm trying to go slow and steady to internalize every episode and concept, taking lots of notes. I think it is better when you just dive deeply in a concept until you understand it very well. I can already see that the course has the potential to transform your life completely, it all depends on how hard work you put into it and that you put your negative thoughts in check.
  12. Hey bro, I feel for you. How much are you neglecting your personal growth, happiness and purpose because of this relationship? I'm no expert in relationships, but I think a relationship should enrich the above and not the opposite.
  13. Take the LP course, but saying that you can't find your life purpose is negative thinking, trust yourself that you will.
  14. Don't be too hard on yourself bro, you're still pretty young and I'm sure you will quit, just don't beat yourself up for that. I'm 21 and also have porn issues. I've tried and failed many times just like you and right now I'm at a point where I don't pay attention to my streaks or relapses, dwelling on that just doesn't help. I just try to focus on my goals, create a good life for myself and eventually I know I won't watch porn anymore. Trust yourself that you will do it but don't expect to quit with a magic technique, it'll take time.
  15. I've been doing the "do nothing" meditation technique for around 3 months now and this has happened to me several times, but yesterday I was doing it pretty hard and uncontrollably. I don't know why that is but it feels really nice, I love it. Do you know why this happens?
  16. @AdamDiC Nice! That's a good point, thanks for your reply.
  17. How do I know if I'm ready for deep spiritual work? What issues do I have to have handled in my life before I seriously get into spirituality?
  18. Wow! This is sooooo difficult for me, I never talk about that kind of trivial things and when I see others doing it, I just can't stand it. Didn't expect it was something I should do to have better conversations.
  19. Just don't do it, even if you get results, you'll never be satisfied.
  20. I have a tendency to save the best for last, and this happens to me with the self-actualization work. Like for example I watch Leo's old videos (that I don't really find interesting) because I want to save the really good ones for later and the most profound ones for when I am more intelectually advanced or something. Many of the things I do I treat them this way, If I discover a great source of information, I have to go and watch/read it all from the beginning. I can't just jump right into the topics I find compelling. I know this is super silly and I'm embarrassed to post this but I'm curious if this happens to any of you guys. Thanks in advance.
  21. "Forcing growth" You hit the nail on the head man. Thank you!!
