  1. @Schahin Fair point actually. So when you (God) access this non-dual state you use it to heal others by imagining them getting healed? Becauce reality is just imagination right? So you imagine it and it actually happens. Isn't that the concept of how someone materialises things?
  2. Yes, there was one well-recorded case where a cow got enlightened who was a devotee of Ramana Maharshi. I time-stamped it in this documentary. Also leaving behind the possibility for animals to get liberated in the first place, how would we know when an animal gets liberated anyway?
  3. Hold your horses!! I don't think OP is looking for such high conscious songs! Lol
  4. Hey there! I'm also from Berlin. I will shoot you a PM
  5. If this is a certain issue that has to do with your life energies (as they refer to in Kriya Yoga), I would also suggest to find a Kriya Master who can guide you like @Salvijus recommended. If not, you can always sign up for a legit Kriya Yoga programme like Inner Engineering (by Isha) where they have a really great success with curing Insomnia in a lot of people. The specific practice that you will learn in that programme is called "Shambhavi Mahamudra". You will have to search and see or contact the foundation and ask if there are any programmes happening nearby to your area.
  6. @XYZ Thanks! I believe these ideas/facts are also an essential of self-actualization eventhough it could be quite minor compared to the more obvious things. Since its very deeply Eastern and doesn't have any western sources, it makes the modern Westener doubt this stuff a lot
  7. @Harikrishnan He is referring to spiritual healing which works by meddling with your life energies like Reiki for example. I am not completely sure the right way to go about correcting physical and mental issues but I believe it is by aligning your physical, mental and energy body by techniques of Kriya Yoga. Also the dissolving of your karma is also part of the equation. I obviously do not subscribe completely to what Sadhguru says here as I too do not understand the very deep mechanics of the human system. However I do trust him and wanted to share his view with you
  8. @Harikrishnan He is saying that mental and physical issues come from very root causes which (if I understand right) is karma. So if you heal them using spiritual healing techniques, the issue will go away but it will take a different form after some time since the root cause was not dealt with and it takes expression in a different form. That's what he means when he says that spiritual healing is just meddling with life.
  9. Here is what Sadhguru has to say about healing. Quite an interesting watch. What he is saying has to do with karma as far as I understand
  10. Thank you for the information! I see that it's pretty much equal to the situation in Germany. One would end up paying about 40% more or less to the government as well. But most of that money goes to the insurance which includes health insurance, unemployment benefit insurance and pension insurance. On top of that a little bit more which you pay directly to the government as tax. So given that the financial situation is pretty much the same in both countries, I see it a viable option to live there given all the other benefits of Norway.
  11. @Dwarniel How's the Tax and Insurance situation there? Like how much of your salary goes to the government and for insurances per month? I have hiked and camped in Norway a couple of times and I was in awe with the country the whole time
  12. @molosku He literally created an energy form and trapped it inside a physical structure where if you enter its vicinity you will enter into a deep meditative state immediately without any knowledge of what meditation even is. You need some level of mastery to do that.
  13. After realising the self, does entering Nirvana/Mahasamadhi/full liberation require further purifying of the mind or dissolution of karma? In other words, according to spiritual scriptures, will you be reborn again even if you realized the self, until you dissolve all of your karma?
  14. I believe this could be released in the form of emotional trauma releases. Techniques to do this are for example: 1) Osho Dynamic Meditation 2) Reichian Therapy 3) Shamanic Breathing 4) Sedona Method 5) Shoonya Intensive Programme (by Isha)
  15. “Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important—creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.” ― Steve Jobs
  16. @Shiva Same! I was sleeping quite bad for a better part of a year until I came across this video. I also read somewhere that sleeping on a metallic bed could also affect you as it has a negative vibration compared to wood. I am not 100% sure about this and I didn't hear it from Sadhguru. However, I personally do feel better using a wooden bed.
  17. I have learned a lot since I joined this forum including different practices, spiritual teachers etc. It has seriously being a huge support for me on my journey.
  18. Yes, he has experience with choosing which womb to be born in. When he was in his last lifetime, he failed to accomplish his guru's mission due to social resistance during his time. His mission was to establish something called the Dhyanalinga, which is a totally different story by itself. So after he failed, he chose to be reborn and come back again in the next life(his current life) so that he could accomplish his mission. For that, he consciously chose to be born to a certain family which wouldn't get in the way for his mission one day. He did the same for his disciplines too, so that they could meet again in the next life to continue their mission. That means he consciously left his body in his last life and chose a specific womb to be born in. His name in the last lifetime was Sadhguru Sri Brahma if you want to look it up. All of this to say that, he does know a thing or two about what he is talking about in the video. This information is not mainstream because it sounds absolutely nuts to many people because it's not in their direct experience. Also he says that all the memories of lifetimes are carried to the next life in the form of energy. If I am right, you could access all of those memories by tapping into the depths of your unconscious mind. This is also what the Buddha did after his enlightenment if I am correct. He scanned through all the lifetimes that he has lived before. If you want to know more about what I said here, it is written in the book called "More than a Life". It is about Sadhguru's life before he became a mainstream guru. Now obviously I have no direct experience of any of this and as he says it doesn't do you any good to believe any of this and neither disbelieve it. Just keep an open mind of the possibilities beyond what you already know. But this is basically the information out there that could answer your question. I just read this stuff out of sheer curiosity too.
  19. @Leo Gura I am genuinely interested to know what you thought about my last reply regarding human evolution and the solar system. I don't want to debate but just curious. Here was the video where Sadhguru talks about it.
  20. Would you be interested in trying classical hatha yoga as was taught in the ancient times in India? It might help you to try the real thing first
  21. Here are some good videos with a great explanation of Health
  22. Great point Leo but I think the matter goes much deeper than we usually see. An environment is a space within which there is a constant exchange in various levels between itself and the individual who thrives in it. When scientists speak of the environment affecting the evolution of a species, they are referring to the immediate space around that individual. Be it the climate, the temperature, the threat by other species, the air, the water etc. All these things constitute the immediate environment of that species, which in this case is the planet in which it lives on. However, this is only a surface level of what the actual environment really is. The actual environment extends way beyond that. That's where you encounter the effects of the rest of the solar system on that individual species. There are many examples which show this but take the simple example of the menstrual cycle of a female body, which is responsible for the birth of every human. It is a cycle of 28 days, which also happens to be the amount of time the moon takes to orbit the earth. Coincidence?.. Another example is how the geometry of the planetary orbits are related to the number of chakras in our body. The diameter of the sun multiplied by 108 is equal to the distance between the Sun and the Earth. The diameter of the moon multiplied by 108 is also equal to the distance between the Moon and the Earth. The relation this has to the human body is that the number of chakras in our body which could be controlled is also 108. It doesn't stop there. There is a relationship between the actual circumference of the Earth and our breath. The circumference of the Earth in nautical miles (which is the original measuring unit related to the geometry of the earth) is 21600 which is also the number of breaths that a healthy human takes every day if they are rest and normal conditions. A person usually breathes 15 times per minute. Therefore 15x60x24 = 21600. Like this way, it can be seen how the environment extends beyond just the immediate space within which the species thrives in, which scientists solely claim is the reason for evolution. They are right but only partially. It extends to the solar system in which the species exists as well. But why should the environment just stop there then? Well, it apparently doesn't and it extends to the entire cosmos itself because modern physics have proven that every subatomic particle in your body is in constant interaction with every other subatomic particle in the universe. So the environment gets subtler and subtler. So my point is, yes it is correct that the human being will be affected by the environmental changes caused by technology or even if they move to mars, but there are some other subtle factors also at play here. Sure the human being might get physically weaker as we get more comfortable due to technological advancements or we might get weaker if we go to mars due to the weaker gravitational pull there but the essential nature which makes us physically human (whatever that is) will not change as long as the subtler aspects of the environment also change (the solar system and etc). At the end of the day, all of our energy does come from the sun if you trace it all back. We might not be conscious of its effect on us every split second but it doesn't mean it doesn't have any effect. If anyone is interested, these were my sources for my original statement about what Sadhguru said. Significancs of the number 108 How Sun and Moon affect human system Relation between earth circumference and breathe
