@LSD-Rumi Ah i understand, im curious of how the body responds to intense exercise when in the grip of bipolar depression? Do you remain in a depressed state for the entire workout hour and when you lie down to rest your still fully depressed with no motivation? Or is there a small "wake up" then quickly you go back to depression an hour after exercise is over? What does the depression curve look like?

@LSD-Rumi Have you ever exercised?

My biggest regret was not taking benzodiazepines or an anti-anxiety medication to reset the system. When you dont get sleep for a few nights in a row the anxiety and stress gets worse and worse and it becomes harder and harder to sleep each night, its best to take something to help on day 3+ to just get back to baseline and reset the system. Taking something once or twice a month during extreme events is a good strategy. In this situation the cons of benzos is out weight by the cons of not sleeping. I agree that dependency is a bad idea, im saying be strategic.

From personal experience its half the time neuroticism + anxiety and the other half its a overflow of ideas and insight addiction. Even so I got red shift on all my devices and home lights.

Have you tried intensive exercise every time you feel off? I know its hard to feel motivated to do stuff like when in a mood. Exercise completely changes all the hormones in the body.

@Reciprocality That's a good point. I think we can narrow it down the the kind of question the subconscious mind is exposed to the thought to optimize for. If we train on high quality questions that work together in a larger system. Chess, piano... also has a non-subvocal thinking process just like dual-n-back but trains a very different set of questions.

@Growly You got this! I've experience some hellish insomnia for years, 2 hours a night, every night no exceptions and managed to completely resolve it, now after a shift in mindset I sleep instantly no problem. One of the main things that needs to be accepted is letting go of the need to sleep, like "if I sleep or not who cares" mindset. At some point I realized eating a huge plate of rice nocked me out lmao, you can try that for the short term. But i would say that you should never go to bed hungry that makes things alot harder. Ye try the Gaba + Melatonin, cant go wrong. @Michael569 Do you have any recommendations?

@Growly Also try audio bed time stories, it really helps change the mind set. Also if you take tryptophan do it with the last meal of the day.

This video made me remember the confusion episodes i had as a child between the ages of 8-12. Now i know they where actually psychosis events. I would wake up in the middle of the night and start running around the house in confusion rambling things with alot of energy, it would last 30min-1hour. Im guessing in this clip she was also a sleep and woke up and did the same thing. What most people are probably thinking is that why cant she be reasoned with? In my experience with exactly this is your really no longer in your head, its identical to a dream situation where you have limited to no control of your reality. This means your not-lucid dreaming while awake. While normally you would be lucid dreaming in everyday life. All the thoughts that follow the main narritive that pop into the mind become the truth instantly with no filter. The person is no longer there to make decisions, its exactly like the feeling of what its like when your dreaming + anxiety mixed in. If you watch it try to view it as if she is dreaming and listen to the story she made up, because thats exactly it, she is dreaming and lost control of the dream making process. Anxiety is keeping her stuck in that state mostly, if they could give her something to calm down she would snap out of it.

Your in psychosis. You've been in psychosis your entire life. Everyone you've ever met is also in psychosis. Calm down, everything is going to be ok, look around you, see what's in front of you, there's nothing happening. Calm Down. Calm Down... its going to be ok... Its psychosis. Awake = Sober

Ye thats pretty bad! You got to get your sleep confidence back. Try eating a really big meal around 4-5 pm, large meals are sedative, with some Tryptophan, then at night take some Gaba and melatonin. Of course during the day you want to reduce your stress levels, first by doing some mid-day exercise, get a good sweat in. Exercise significantly reduces stress. Also get vitamin D during the day. Avoid all possible stimulants: Coffee, chocolate, B-complex vitamin, Milk (dairy) ... But strangely recently I found butter helps me relax. ?

The most effective thing is to learn how to trigger your vagus nerve and the bodies default relax response, the only way i found to do this consistency is to learn how to Yawn on command. Basically you want to figure out how to induce a real yawn by opening up your throat muscles like your going to yawn and breath in a similar way as a yawn (deep delayed slow inhale with the throat pulled back) then the body will trigger a actual yawn. Trigger 5 real yawns in a row and you'll feel super high.

@Growly What does your daily routine look like in general? Cigarettes, coffee, general diet, exercise...? and what does your sleep look like, does it take you long to fall asleep?

Another blood test result

@Growly Got to figure out what dose works for you body, experiment trial and error, im very sensitive so i feel very small amounts. Tryptophan 220mg, Gaba 100mg. The brand for the tryptophan is New Roots but I arbitrarily purchased it, i dont know what the best brand is. Why are you interested in these supplements?
-
@Growly I still use it occasionally its good at low doses for relaxation but higher amounts causes breathing problems. L-Tryptophan + b1 is also pretty good.

Hint: We are also in psychosis
