Depends on what that means to you

I find that even in my 40s I need to present my masculine features first. Martial arts background, tattoos, lifting weights, being direct with my thoughts and speech, eye contact, good posture, some flirting. This is not a brag-rant on how masculine I am. I pepper in little bits of these things until I sense attraction. Women like sensitive men, but they are usually looking for a sensitive worrier that can meet her emotionally needs as well as protect her and potential offspring. Attraction has deep ties to survival and biology and most women do not have the ability to see through that even into their 40s. I tend to look for deep, introspective types, but when i come across a hot one with a nice butt and a feminine voice I can loose control and start thinking with my dick. I am not immune to being overpowered by biological attraction despite knowing that it's not going to lead to anything fulfilling. Women in the late 30s even still date assholes. In pickup we used to have the three phase model: attraction, comfort and connection, and seduction. I still finds this holds true but they kind of blend together. Most women are not going to care that you are actualizing or doing emotional healing right up front. Reveal that later. Be interesting and inject humor, not some serious actualizer guy. Comfort and connection up front will put you in the friend zone most of the time.

A thoughtful introvert can put together some amazing groups and outings. Start by inviting a couple people out, then keep expanding. Once you become the leader of a close group of friends there are lots of ways to take this. Most people don't like planning or taking the lead

I use Hinge mostly. Social social works too but I have fewer chances for that. On hinge you need high quality photos, your profile and your messages need to stand out or you wlil not be successful. It's also keep in minds it's a numbers game.

I did the same thing. I ended up creating my own and made a lot of good friends from it. I limited the age range to keep out the older crowd and the regulars appreciated it. Where I lived meetup was mostly old people. That said, depth is hard to find. I settled for kind people who were thoughtful, not lazy, and were into nature. We camped and went to natoinal parks regularly. I turned them all onto LSD and they loved it. Now I live somewhere with tons of conscious people so I can be more picky. I have my bro friends but I have my deep conscious friends also. I like a variety of types. Where you live matters. You will have to settle for less depending on the area.

You still have tight subcomms (posture, eye contact, vocal projection). Two people with different energies can say the exact thing where one is well received and the other comes off as creepy.

I don't know if this is true in all countries, but in some you can choose private insurance if you don't want the public option. The US is filled with propaganda that govt health insurance sucks. Which in some countries it is indeed worse. You may have to wait a little longer to get an appointment for non-critical issues. Americans tend to be very impatient and entitled though I don't think Bernie could pull it off on his own. Too much corruption in the democratic party -
Yeah me too. I had a therapist friend that would not do psychs because psychosis ran in her family. I've experienced it for a couple of days after a lot of mushrooms. And my GF was fucked for life. Haven't done much research myself on it though.

I've had psychosis from mushrooms. DMT is another one that isn't good for me. LSD all day no biggie.

That's a pretty bold statement. Do you have any sources?

Current mood Oh, you don't know me, 'cause I'm from a different age And you can't see me, 'cause I live in a different age And you could hurt me, but you wouldn't know what to say But you should believe me, our dreams are all the same Like a life without love God, that's just insane But a love without life Well, that just happens every day And I wish I could change, but I'll probably just stay the same And I wish you could sing along But this song is a joke, and the melody I wrote, wrong Oh, you can't hear me 'cause I sing to a different age And you should fear me 'cause I believe in a different age But I live in the city that lives in a different age Oh, I live in a city that lives in a different age Where all the poets are writing memoirs And I'm still singing songs Oh, all the poets are writing memoirs And I'm still singing songs They say, "There's nothing left for you here, kid Why don't you just go home?" They say "This city is useless Oh, we've already done it all" Oh, all the poets are writing memoirs And I'm still singing songs And I wish you could sing along But this song is a joke, and the melody I wrote, wrong!

@Lynx Not being critical, but why not just meditate? Or do you find that meditation is good for some things and psychs better for other things? And how would you know which is the right tool for the job? I suppose anyone else could chime in as well.

That might be the case but the media sure did hone in on it. -
There are tons of brilliant musicians and artists floating around. You won't find them on the radio, you have to dig. Mainstream music has always been subpar. Beauty is subjective but here are a few of my current favs

I don't understand that. Bernie is a broken record. He just goes on about affordable healthcare, affordable education, and living wages. Who the fuck can't relate to that. He does, however, need to shut the fuck up about being a "democratic socialist". -

I'm open to be proven wrong but I find AI nice for summarizing very specific questions I have. It's a lot easier than digging through tons of pages to piece together the information that I'm seeking. But! I always end the chat with "what are your sources?" That said, I have already broken up with google and Facebook. I don't give them my information anymore. I am very reluctant to give OpenAI my data but I am not sure how possible that will be going forward. To maintain relevance in the workforce I have to keep up with modern technologies. -

The news only reports on what sells and all communication channels are being flooded with misinformation. The left and the right live in completely different universes. There are no longer any common truths. -

Unfortunately, nobody realizes how corrupt the system is. People don't know where to find good sources of information. -

@Peter Zemskov Do you live in the US or Europe? I don't know a whole lot about the political structures of most European countries but I do know that fascism is on the rise everywhere. I'm currently reading a book called "How Fascism Works" that was recommended to me by one of my activist friends. I'd highly recommend it. Also check out Hiding in Plain Sight and They Knew by Sarah Kendzior. There is corruption on both sides which is a big part of the problem that we see. The dems don't want to be too loud because they don't want to be found out. They are all guilty. Sarah refers to the US as a multi-national crime syndicate and sometimes as a mafia state. I think those are very accurate terms for what we are dealing with here. Trump's history is extremely corrupt. Once you trace his connections to Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Jeffrey Epstein, the Russian mob, and beyond it makes more sense. These are some extremely fucked up people.Rapists, pedophiles, mobsters, money launderers, etc. We're talking blackmail, threats, payoffs and more. Just dig into the people who lived in Trump Tower. As for the political system being inert, I just think that's a symptom of people being so fucking divided on every fucking issue. We need checks and balances, but for fuck's sake there has to be some common ground. That'll never happen until we root out corruption. <--- I think this is something we can use to unite the people. What I learned from all of this is that democracy is extremely fragile. People just don't know that. It's something that we have to fight for to maintain.
