Yes some people are lucky with their genetics in one area, others in other areas. But a lot of diet or lifestyle related damage is only noticeable long-term. As a kid and teen I had a shitty diet: too much sugar, too much caffeine, too much alcohol, too much junkfood, no exercise etc. And yet I never became fat and never had energy problems. It's only like a year ago I started to become aware that I was developing health and energy problems. I'm still pretty healthy and I choose to stay healthy.

Isn't presence just being aware that everything (in any state of consciousness) is always happening now and that time is imaginary? I don't think you have to necessarily even be aware that the self is an illusion to realize that. Most teachers seem to point to that thing being enlightenment (realization of no-self). So I don't think that (even according to most teachers) presence is enlightenment...

I actually watched some JP lectures and it got me thinking...he has a very complex mind and it gives birth to many good insights And yet he is very ideological and his political views are so ignorant. He also seems to carry a lot of resentment and pain and a closed heart

Being at stage Orange is perfectly fine, for the time being. Experiencing 'mystical love' all the time, even for the 'ugly' things seems more like a stage Turqoise thing to me. Be grateful if you have glimpses of it Now most of the values you listed are important beyond Spiral Dynamics too (as Michal pointed out). These are great values to have! For now I advice you to work towards getting yourself into a better environment where you don't have to interact with toxic people too much. Maybe start thinking about what you're most passionate about and spend time doing that too. I know sometimes it's easy to lose sight of the light, but just imagine how strong you'll become by overcoming these challenges and how amazing and beautiful your life can become! You're just 17 so you got a lot of time to improve your life.
