  1. Ushiba the founder of Aikido had psychic skills, including known cases and witnesses and sources saying how he dodged longrange gunfire bullets in this middle of a field during WW1. He said he was able to detect tiny shimmers of white light moments before the bullet arrived, and thus moved out of the range. He also exhausted an attacker who challenged him to a death fight. The challenger was equipped with a Katana and spent 10 minutes trying to cut Ushiba. Ushiba saw the same phenomenon with the sword in terms of the direction the sword would swing. The challenger gave up and was unharmed, in disbelief of what had happened. Ushiba was about 5ft 3 or so- very tiny- and was reported to have been one of the strongest humans alive. All his cultivation of Chi and energy work. His first mentor was a healer whom did all sorts of spirit work. Not a martial arts guy. It is from here that Ushiba had the foundation for Aikido as he developed the art. So Ralston I have no doubt is capable of similar if not greater feats. Not that hed ever bother to show it. He is hidden in plain sight. His disguise is his 'crazy talk.' But he is real.
  2. All his enlightenment stuff goes right over my head (but i am aware it is me that doesnt understand it yet). His martial arts....he is a real master. Of course you wont hear about him because UFC is like stage red stuff. Modern martial arts always goes "yeah but in a real fight..." this is a style of thinking one will overcome with years of study to a martial art. Soon you dont think that way. Ushiba (founder of Aikido) was highly psychic. Could dodge bullets and samurai swords and actually did and is documented numerous different sources. Are you going to say Aikido (his version) is just flimsy rubbish looking nonsese and it doesnt actually work?
  3. You cant. That's the simple truth. Connect with yourself first, then connect with others. The need to give and receive love is why we are here. Don't just dismiss it out of some virtue.
  4. Mate this is absolutely gonna drive you nuts and crazy with this belief; schizophrenia is surely to follow if you continue with this belief. You seem obsessed with the lack of sex. Go get some, go pay for it if you have to; after a number of times, all of this nonsense in your mind will naturally settle and you can see things differently. Most humans are not up for just having sex with anyone. Some art, but many arnt.
  5. The only Ralston I could understand is when he teaches martial arts. All the way he presents other things annoys me dearly.
  6. @Leo Gura Is Peter Ralston too direct? To me he is. I like listening to small doses of him, but i cannot understand him one single bit. I wish i could but i cant. I feel bad about myself when I try and listen to him because I feel too novice to understand. But I listen to Osho and I can immediatly feel the love.
  7. Guys to me a mule is happy being a mule then is the need to know they are God relevant? Sure a mule is unconscious, but arent they content? Its a perspective of Taoism or Forrest Gump; to just live ones life, and is that not enough? A mule may not be enlightened, but a mule is alive and is within life. And who are we to judge that mules arent enlightened? Maybe they are! Has anyone here been a mule before?
  8. *To end off. Thankyou for your video Cult Psychology part 2. As you have hinted, yes, cults are now going to be an online phenomenon more and more. This self-help group I have mentioned.......woah a ton of groupthink has developed and the $ prices for access to the forum have increased. I think i hit my last patience with it and am about to leave.
  9. I find this helpful and I agree. I know Leo youre using the context of consciousness, but even in the simpler topic of moods/emotions, I find this to be true. There is a different school of thought and online group i am a part of where the basic principle for a happy life is **be in as good a mood as possible.** ......And I have found that the neurotic drive and obsession with feeling happy and positive and amazing all the time to be the biggest chore and burden in my existence. Striving to be happy and putting pressure on myself to be happy just makes me angry or miserable if the effort is wrong. There is almost a tabboo on being okay, and relaxed about feeling bits of depression, guilt, sadness, rage from time to time. I did a 3 week meditation retreat about 2 months ago, and the biggest change that happened (without my desiring) was this insight: *I dont care what mood I am in anymore.* And for me there is an intense freedom with that. I am allowed and free to feel even the lows of life. How beautiful.
  10. @Alex bAlex Thats cool. Johhny Soporno still does coaching online very cheaply. I would advise to get coaching if you have the money- he wont be coaching for much longer and youll have the experience of speaking with an old timer of the community. Its either that or take a Mystery bootcamp!
  11. @DrewNows Absolutly! Certainly if I dont have a cold shower for 3-4 days (rarely happens), then after 4 days, one cold shower i feel 'normal' again. Its kind of like being fit at the gym: when you are fit, ironically, you dont KNOW you are fit. But if you take one month off, it is only then you realise how strong you were, and at what a high level you were at.....Its only when you are unfit can you appreciate how fit you were. For me this is similar to getting adapted to the cold showers and the breathing- only if you stop, then start again, you realise how healthy you were.
  12. Youll never be sick the rest of your life. Your immune system will be robust. Instant source of a good energised mood- need only proove this to yourself by taking a hot shower and notice how slow you feel afterwards. Your skin feels smoother and heals somehow. As for the breathing, I rarely have enough discipline to do 30 power breaths or a mini breath work session. I am too lazy and I did it for a year, but after a year the breathing progressions stopped for me. You begin the first month with 30 breaths, next month 40. I plateaued and if I wanted to improve, one will eventuay have to be doing sets of 100 breaths. Wim doesnt say this in the course but based on the progressions, this is where you will be heading. I just dont have inspiration to do that at this time. Also after about 5 months, the initial high you feel after the breathing- the tingling in the hands and feet and face.....well, you adapt and I dont feel that at all. I was worried because initially I thought I was doing the breathing wrong, but no, I had just adapted and forgot all about the tingling. I need to do about 70 breaths to feel any tingling at all and its usually by the 3rd set. So like I have said, my continued version of the breathing is I just do between 5-15 breaths, with a breath hold, and use this breathing cycle throughout my do-nothing meditation sits. Because the number is lower, my mind doesnt have to count or calculate. I just do as many breaths as I want. Sometimes its 5, sometimes 25. But I dont count because its not relevant. If I feel my meditations are slippery, then I will stick to my 5 breath rule and count my retentions for the sake of concentration practise. But if I feel settled, I dont bother with this and just let my mind drift off and even the body rests still. You will need less sleep if you do this method (long term). Another variation I do is I exhale 100%. Wim says exhale about 70% or so, and your breath retentions will be longer if you follow this advise. The benefit to this breathing is you can feel centered fast. The results are instant and demonstrate them to yourself. This is what sold me on Wim Hof; the results are instant after day 1. A breathing session reveals there is veracity in the method. Its non gimmicky or snake oil. Another trick for rapid fast development and training of the body is the most painful exercise Wim advises: get bag ice, put in bucket of cold water, and stick your hand or foot straight in and hold it for as long as comfortable. The longest I can do is 8 minutes and that was with 2 months practise. Its painful and because of such I stopped doing it every morning. But its an instant pain killer release to the body. To summarise main benefit is feeling healthier, feeling stronger, and the benefit that you will never have a cold or flu or virus the rest of this human existence if you simply have a 3 minute cold shower once a day.
  13. Its not cold showers, Its exposure to frosty cold environments that force the body into a different state. But if a man thinks its just placebo, cool.
  14. Not too sure. One cannot know someone elses extent of abilities because words and labels of the psychic community are limited. He can 'feel' the energy blockages of other people. He can tell by ability if they are healthy or not. Little bit clairvoyant. Highly sensitive.
  15. A man that has courage to be girly, is a God. Yes that Part 2 Video is probably my favourite video of Leos. Its an absolute Reality Joke when you realise one day that FULLY being yourself is automatically the highest peak of energy and attraction and life. This is really, really, the only purpose of life: to fully, wholly, totally, intensively be yourself to the max at all risk.......to the point where you realise you are God (too advanced for me right now). The bigger joke is when you then have this realisation and see these rsd and Elliot Hulse idiots and their hypermasculinity doing everything they can to be beyond macho. And what relief to know you never had to be any of that.
  16. @kindayellow You say, you know all the answers are inside and you dont want to be dependent on the outside for answers. It is correct the answer comes from inside. It is incorrect you know that! If you genuinly knew that so definitly, you would not bother posting. You would not have this dilemma. You would not find your personality of socialising a problem. You would not question these things. Dont just listen to me, or Leo, or what the forum says, or what this religion says, or what society says, or what this guru believes. Learn and experience FOR YOURSELF!! You have too many borrowed opinions and a set code of knowledge that you carry. Drop it. Maybe the answers can come outside. Maybe going inside is not the answer. Dont be scares of learning the hard way in life. The hard way, where you choose on your own, is the most effective way. And me saying that, is again knowledge another source is tryin to dump onto you. If it sounds good you will agree or disagree. Feel for yourself the solution. You want girlfriend but I believe you are scared to admit you want help or you want the forum to give you permission to chase girls. I give you permission to not need permission from anyone except yourself.
  17. Johhny Soporno is my God beautiful, because, he was from the era when pickup was a COMMUNITY, with a heart desire to help men, before pickup became a MARKETING culture which is what it is now. Also above, Steve Piccus, whom I am not a fan of at all, does share that back in the formations of the 'community' there was an aspect of brotherhood, helpfulness, mentoring, and intent to help men meet wives and girlfriends; men that have tried everything they have and failed. RSD and modern pickup does NOT have this quality of genuine, gentle care. And no, not saying back then every person or guru that did pickup had purely good intentions, far from it. They were egos of the greatest devil. But the theme of community and council was merited and worthy. Back then, the only way to get into pickup was to be MENTORED. A mentor CARES about you sincerely without asking for money. Modern pickup does not have this care. That is the only reason I do not endorse you buy a course.
  18. Yes. Free 45 minute YouTube video from Sasha Daygame about 6 years ago or so. No course required. I watched the video, and began seeing more 'results' with women in the 4 months post watching that video compared to my entire life. Please note, many of the courses on Pickup are about money and marketing. A course will not substitute real experience whatsoever. You already have enough prior reference experience and intellectunal knowledge on dating. The late (and early) Zan Perrion, will tell you, there is no need to buy a course, do a seminar, take a workshop. You have all the tools. I am not a big fan of Zan Perrion- he is too lost in the clouds to be able to relate to him. Unlike Leo who you can relate to and explains things so you understand, Zan is too poetic and not on this earth; he is enlightened with women, but he is flying in the sky and therefore is of little help to the men despite his good intent to share knowledge. Please note again!- Sasha Daygame is beyond pickup now, He does not focus on women, he is into the spirituality aspect. He is not very popular, but alas, the rare gems in this world are never properly appreciated by the public. The above video was him in his marketing prime with dating and back when pickup was multidimensional with many different men, NOT JUST THE SOUP OF R.S.D. A good pickup teacher will directly explain to you that pickup is superficial- the type of person you are, is the only decent thing. Another gem in this world, and very few men will take the time to understand him because of his unique ordinariness- is Johnny Soporno. In the below clip you can appreciate that self-esteem/knowing you are good enough is 100% of game. He goes on in other videos about how shame, guilt and neutroic self-doubt I deliberalty conditioned into men (and women) to deliberately make them feel they are not good enough as people, not good enough to date, not good enough for love, not good enough for sex, not good enough to feel confident, not good enough to meet God, and that society has DELIBERATLY MADE IT THAT WAY! After all!! If men feel inferior with dating, then...…..welcome all these dating and pickup courses!! $$$ They benefit. You lose money, and on top of that still wont feel good enough because a course will not replace self-worth or respect. Yes, I have an agenda- My agenda is to make sure you do not buy a course, because, I want you to know that YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH and you deserve self respect and dignity. If you attain these qualities, then by all means, then go and buy all the courses on pickup you like.
  19. @eleveneleven Yes. The phony vibe is because he is trying to uphold an image of "look how virtuous I am. I am a man of principles and morales. I help young men." I am reminded of Tao Te Ching, Toaism: everything is based on polarities and if something is taken too far the opposite appears. The person who tries to be beautiful ends up ugly. The one who goes first ends up last. Selling a virtue implies one does not believe in it. The strong quickly become the weak. Obbsession with living reveals a fear of dying. True simplicity is not simple. The braggart feels the most insecure.
  20. Don't worry about trying to figure out your purpose: it will come to you naturally with time by itself. Go and begin pickup. And don't feel you need to neglect the life purpose course- just do it casually, with ease, don't try too hard. Be easy about it all.
  21. Yes I have been doing the Wim Hof Method for 2 years now. The reason I began it was because of the YouTube video that sold me on the idea, "If you do this method, you will NEVER be sick for the REST OF YOUR LIFE." Indeed, I have never been sick with a cold/virus/flu/allergy since doing the cold showers. Let's make it brutally simple, even more simple than what Wim Hof adocates, and I like him as a teacher because he is very easy about his approach, he is non-dogmatic, he is non-pressure, and he says to BUILD UP SLOW AND GENTLE. This is the secret to mastering anything in this lifetime; to be the totrotise with consistency and gentleness, over time. Be a farmer not a sprinter. So there are really only 2 aspects to the Wim Hof Method: Cold Showers. Deep breathing, as in the above video. 20-40 breaths, and then a breath retention. It is a form of Pranayama Wim Hof's personal way. That's it. He discusses another pillar in his course which is mental commitment. A lot of the course is about psychology as well as physiology which many people do not appreciate or it just goes over their heads. If one wants to progress to superhuman levels like Wim can (which we can), then mental determination and commitment is not optional- it is NECESSARY. Yes he goes into some yoga exercises, stretches, conditioning. There is some aspects of meditation. There is some aspects of awakening the 3rd eye. There is some aspects of breathing exercises which turn up the electricity in the body and light the body on fire (hence there motto Inner Fire). Wim Hof has his views on spirituality and religion which naturally get spilled into the stranger breathing exercises. So when people say "do you do the Wim Hof Breathing?"- they are referring to the video above usually. But in the course, there are about 4 different styles of breath retentions and exhales, and one must be VERY VERY VERY careful to go slow, because doing those breathing exercises in their extremes too soon will make you feel horrible. Wim Hof is extremely psychic and has more knowledge than he shares online or anyone in the public will be ready to believe. The 10 week online course was the one I got. He over-delivers on content, some of it is quite repetitive once you get the basics, but really it's a great aspect any person can do in their daily life. I do a variation of his breathing during my meditations: 5 breaths in, one breath out, hold repeat for 15 minutes. If you want to begin cold shower training, the first 2 weeks is this: at the end of a hot shower, turn the water to cold (or however cold you can bear) to 30 seconds. Your skin and body adapts to the cold over days and weeks, so on day one it will be freezing, and by day 10, you will still feel the shock but your body magically feels invulnerable to it. Have fun with it, and don't take it too heavily or seriously. It's amazing but there is a simplicity to it you cannot complicate. Sadly, and greatly, Wim Hof is humble enough to limit himself to interviews and the occasional retreat; he aint trying to sell much else. The guy is quite wealthy since the course first got released, so don't feel guilty downloading is somewhere. Im sure soon it will be free to everyone anyways.
  22. Yes! Use the technique called Paradoxical Intention, created by Mr Viktor Frankyl and written about in Mans Search For Meaning. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradoxical_intention Mr Viktor specifically discusses this anxiety with not getting enough sleep/trouble falling asleep and the anxiety associated with it. Here's the technique) When tired, get into bed. When you notice you cannot fall asleep, make it a DETERMINATION to NOT FALL ASLEEP and deliberately stay away for as long as you can (while in bed and not resorting to coffee to try and keep you awake or modafinil). You may notice the eyes then get droopy, you feel snug and warm and lacking concentration, and...…..then...…..I can't seem....to fall asleeee----------- Zzzz.
  23. Yes it is wrong!! Carbs and 'white foods' are the devil! Bread, pasta, rice- these are at the bottom/core of the food pyramid, which is wrong. Vegetables and fruit at the bottom, proteins and legumes next, fats next, and some carbs is fine. But carbs as a staple? Everyone is different so don't listen to me, but to me if I have a medium size of carbs I feel HORRIBLE within an hour after the big energy spike.
  24. Ok Kindayellow Go into the world and do some activities that require being out of the house, social involvement and also exercise. Not those three things together but seperatly (or together). Are you exercising every single day and not skipping a single day? (Akin to meditating every day for at least 15 minutes or an hour, without skipping a single day?). If you are cool. If you are not, begin walking round the suburbs or parks or wherever is available to you for 30-60 minutes per day. If you have the finances and resources, start: boxing classes Attending meetup groups (some require zero money) do a yoga class, yes, even a silly commercialised one for the sake of getting out If you do pickup, begin going to clubs and bars again every night. Dont have to spend money on drinks, just get out there, get a water, dance and mingle and leave it and there and go home You dont see your family and broke off from friends, that is ok, no judgement. But if you feel there is something missing, set the intention to meet new friends (including a girlfriend) Small changes bring big, big, big results when done with consistency. So don't feel at all pressured to feel like you have to do everything to big extremes. Just pick a SMALL change at your pace. These are just ideas. Is there anything more specific you want to know/ask?
  25. Cant help but be obsessed with the Leonidas from time to time Episode this week for me: Escaping Wage Slavery
