He didn't say it is a reality. He points to what your mind is probably thinking.

The more you have success in something, the more confidence you get at it.
For example, the more sales you do or you visit a certain country before, the more confidence you will be in that area when someone asked you about them. So you can climb your way to the top or to success whatever you define it.
However, things will come crashing down when you have illness or is about to die. All will die one day. There's no need to be egoistic and laugh at someone for not knowing this or not being able to close sales. Time is Life.

yeah. but napoleon hill was a con artist and died penniless. There are people out there who made millions by using think and grow rich. W Clement stone made billions with think and grow rich. bob proctor made millions with think and grow rich. Jack canfield is also a millionare
its confusing to choose a book . So many greate books out there and there is no consensus on which is the best
thats cool bro .
Napoleon Hill even talked on video tapes and sold many books. Highly doubt that he died penniless.
If he did, then so too are millions of Americans who also died 'penniless'. These people may have fewer than $100k to their name when they died and that's considered penniless I guess.
In any case, he lived till 87 years old which is better than average at that time.

Jack canfield read 3000 book , has been into self improvement for 55 years , is a millionaire. He is the real deal. I will go with success principles by jack canfield for now and see how it goes
Not so sure about jack Canfield's book. I read it. It feels good but I cannot remember much about the book.
Think and grow rich is different. Your will remember about the burning desire or the transmutation of sex, among other things.

did u get any success with napoleon hill
It's hard to say for sure because I read over 300 self help books. Yes I am a self help junkie.
I didn't do well in my career though but i kept my job. I also got lucky in real estate. Earned some profits and rentals income. Good money. May not have happened without the books I read.

for me now its 7 habits vs george leonard vs GTD
one of the above has the answer
Well I think Napoleon hill's writing has a certain level of intensity which will help you remember his points better.
You can check out his Master keys to success book or law of success to learn more.
In my opinion, 7 habits and mastery also do not focus much on taking action.
Gtd is outdated already. There are so many apps and also AI which can help raise productivity.

Trump won because he has been campaigning for 9 years.
Harris lost because she campaigned for 7 weeks.
While the reason is arguably not so simple, it actually is one of the main reasons.

You can go to websites like Goodreads so that you can chronicle your self help journey.
Once you are set on the path, you will start to read more books rather than putting them away.

Insights don't matter until you do something because of them.

Well, if you are aiming to be in working programming job, you will need to sit down in front of a computer for hours so the book Deep Work will be more applicable for you.

I usually write my notes and then after I finish reading, I will do a revised book summary or book review.
You can also follow Brian Johnson's style. He summaries every book into five main points.
-
The 21st century adaption of think and grow rich is somewhat different from the original. You can read that if you haven't done so.
Someone who likes doing research and data analysis may gain more insights reading Deep Work by Cal Newport.
But if you are interested in doing sales, then read books like Art of closing the sales.

Well, it boils down to how wealthy you are. If you are insanely rich, you can reject some petty or fussy clients.

Andrew's stuff will make you angry unless you become wildly successful. But most people won't be able to achieve that so they will remain angry.

If you are struggling financially to make end's meet, your number one priority would be to earn money.
Doing self help stuff is good but it doesn't earn you money in the short term. It may be helpful in getting you a job from job interview.
If you already have a good amount of savings, then of course you can use this time to see if you can pursue your passion.

There's another Mastery book called The Art of Mastery by Peter Ralston!
I found the book at the library.
-
The book by G Leonard is an old book by today's standard. It explains the processes on how to be a master. If you read up the life of Leonard, then you can probably tell that he's really a master at his craft and he has mastered his life to a high degree.
The book Mastery by Robert Greene mostly showed that he's a good researcher and a good writer. It doesn't say much about his life. The book showed different examples of how other people achieved mastery. Although it contained many examples, the ideas may be scattered and people will still be lost on how to achieve mastery before or after reading the book.

People go to university for the degree or certifications.
If you don't need one, you can easily join an online course or private course to see what coming back to school is.
-
You can read the book Indistractable to conquer distractions.

2 hours ago, Magnanimous said:@hyrugaout of curiousity how long do you think it would take to be no.1?
I don't think I'll go for it but because of my interest in charisma I'd want to know
It depends on your own definition but in mine, there is no number 1.
For example, Lionel Messi is highly regarded to be the number 1 footballer in the modern era.
But if there is a situation where the ball comes to him at a height and coming very fast, then someone like C.Ronaldo can run faster or head better than Messi so in that situation, C.Ronaldo is actually no 1.
-
Depends on what you meant by world class. It's your own definition and perception of the word.
If you want to be number one most charismatic person in the world, that's going to be near impossible.
If you want to be top 5% in the world, that might still be possible.

Some people cannot even remember what they said a month ago or that they have changed their stance towards certain subject within a month.

Yes being wise is knowing that you only have the present moment. Your past does not determine your future. Or rather, you have no past and no future.🤣
On 10/26/2024 at 6:32 PM, CoolDreamThanks said:It’s all about dropping past learning, all beliefs you hold from books and people, being in a high state via divine substances and being wise Now.
All past learning is usually foolishness and falsehood.
true wisdom is being in a high state where you connect to higher intelligence and not muddying it with past concepts. You see things clearly now, it’s not coming from past learning. So it’s the opposite of what Neal Degrasse Tyson does or whatever his name is.
dropping all past learning + high level of consciousness = wisdom
wisdom is intuitive. It’s now. If your wisdom is based on books or people then it’s not wisdom. Forget everything you’ve learned.
Be here and now, take divine substances and be actually wise. All answers are there.
Things might allign with stuff from books or not. Who cares.
