  1. You need to build up your skills so you have less approach anxiety. Read So Good they can't ignore you or Improve your social skills.
  2. You take creatine or some other supplements. Whey protein should help as well as it's proteins. Muscle recovers much faster.
  3. Books tend to get old and outdated although you still can get good general information on how the financial world works. Good books out there are The Intelligent Investor and Trading for a Living. I don't think youtube channels and podcast provide a good avenue of learning. They can sure teach you some bits on money management and mindset but you probably need to learn a lot more. I recommend you go to websites that just talk about investments, stocks and chartings. Eg https://www.investopedia.com/stocks-4427785
  4. I don't trust Eben Pagan. His book does not even sell well. He doesn't have much videos or subscribers on youtube or anywhere for that matter. He's the type of guy who is probably just using his book to propel himself into the coaching/speaking arena. He's focused on coaching though and I am sure his materials have improved slightly over the years but I don't and won't trust him. Tons of coaches who may be better than him, even the younger ones. Even on this forum, people like Leo Gura, Emerald, Nahm are probably better and definitely much more willing to help.
  5. There's actually nothing wrong with what he wore as long as he could attract more eyes and did what he intended.
  6. There is no God. There is Godliness in you. Anyway, even if you call yourself a God, there are still many things you cannot do which your rational mind think a God can. For example, you the God cannot even jump out of a 3rd storey building without getting bodily injured or getting a dead body. So if you call yourself God, you need to redefine your own notions of God.
  7. No. I don't argue with people 99% of the time in my mind. I also hardly argue with myself.
  8. The Lord of the Ring The Song of Ice and Fire. The Wheel of Time.
  9. Now he's famous so he can choose to speak slower.
  10. Videos will always stay on top for the short to medium term. I think social medias like FB, Instagram, Tik Tok plus some others will continue to gain new grounds. There will also be tons of trade wars between U.S. and China.
  11. Think of not what your forum can do for you but what you can do for the forum.
  12. Yes follow your passion is good advice but it is not the whole thing. Make sure you can get something good from your passion (? and more passion).
  13. Reading is faster for me even when vs x2 speed listening. Reading also allows for easier comprehension and sometimes, there are bold words or tables or formulas which make the whole understanding much faster. For listening, the tonality and the way it is spoken is very important. If I manage to borrow from library, I will usually get both. Then for the chapters I deem as important, I will read it.
  14. Means everything starts from scratch. Which explains why Tesla auto cars keep crashing.
  15. Just read Conversation with God. Maybe you will like it.
  16. Ego is more of an inner thing. It is like the image you hold of yourself. Your personality is what's projected out. Your preferences is dictacted by your circumstances. If you are a rich person, you can choose between a Ferrari or Lamborghini. All three of course will intertwined and will influence one another over time. One also may need to dissolve your ego by reading this.
  17. You can read the book 'Improve your social skills'
  18. There are techniques and tools to help increase productivity. For example, having to-do list and good habits. But most importantly, you must control your ego and your fears.
  19. Good or bad is just a personal opinion of every single person. They will choose a trait that they think of a person and then they will justify it with reasons for themselves. For example, I take Bill Gates as an example. Most people will regard him as a good guy. Then when I ask you to justify? You can easily come up with reasons like He donates a lot, he helps to reduce the spread of Malaria...tons of reasons actually. Then someone will say Bill Gates is a bad guy. Then they can easily come up with reasons too. He's a Harvard school DROPOUT ffs, he built the evil Windows empire blah blah...many reasons actually. So end of the day, your mind is playing tricks on you.
  20. It may be Jordan peterson who is highly intelligent but not so wise. Just saying. Not my opinion.
  21. Of course, Charlie watches some personal development videos as well. He's an entreprenuer youtuber and he has lots of free time after 10pm if he's not outside. Plenty of time to watch some videos and learn. And he probably doesn't consider Leo his rival because both focus on two rather different niche in self development. Content creator normally doesn't name drop if they are very direct competitor.
  22. One part of emotional intelligence is to be able to recognize the feelings of the people you are speaking with and then you act in an appropriate manner. Another thing you can do is to be careful with your words so you don't offend too many people.
  23. Actually, everything in life is a self-help if you put a thought into it. For example, today if you are walking a little slower. You are observing the surroundings more and then think of what you are feeling. So that's a form of 'self-help' in itself. And all the books, audios, youtube videos, blogs, facebook help group, podcasts, seminars, courses you attended are actually not real self-help. The teachings are all from a teacher or guru. So they are actually 'Teacher-help'. So depending on your definition of self-help, it might be extremely hard for you to stop 'self-help' altogether because the mind is always thinking of something. There's also the problem of let's say 'You are thinking about Eckhart Tolle's words' so is this a form of 'self help' just by thinking? Are you being neurotic? Why are you always thinking about self-help?
  24. I am listening to some guided hypnotic audio by Glenn Harrold. Most of the audios are only 30 mins to 1 hour long. It focused on one topic such as overcoming fear. Can't say it's good or bad. It's worth around 3.5/5 stars. It's like guided meditation with music basically. Harrold's stance is very strong like he would say you have full control now, wake up you have full control etc. He even say things like you have full control of your mind during the hypnotic session.
  25. There you go. About 22 senses. https://consciousnutrition.com/really-22-different-senses/ Schools teach that you have 5 basic senses now. keyword: basic
