I think having a lack of morals is what caused arrogance. Humans or animals should be born with at least a bit of morals. It should be automatic and is called the collective unconscious. I don't have any proof though. So do and think whatever you want. Bye.

The first one is more of understanding different people's perspectives aka standing in another's shoes. For example, if you are a football player, you also have to stand in the shoes of the club chairman (Who pay you etc) or manager or fans. The second one is more for yourself when you deal with strong negative emotions.

Thanks for the video. I think it depends on the person's level of consciousness. Someone who is very low on consciousness may be very arrogant and insensitive towards other's feelings and they are the ones who need to check on their ego so in those cases, their ego is indeed their 'enemy'. If your level of consciousness move up, you can slowly integrate your ego more with your Self.

Not exactly. Sometimes, your ego can grow together with your so called 'consciousness' because you are not always aware. No one can be aware all the time (unless you are supposedly enlightened?). Watching TV, playing games and even brushing your teeth or being on this forum can be an egoic behavior. And if you say things like 'I already read this book: The Power of Now' or 'I already know this', that is an egoic behavior as well. So you may think you have raised your consciousness after reading the book, the fact is that you may be sinking deeper and becoming more egoic.

Everything will be similar. Just different language, culture, religion etc. Like for eg, most people in China do not really know who is Martin Luther King or Napoleon Hill so you cannot go straight into the topics. You have to provide their background first or you provide other examples. Beware of trademarks and of insulting people because you can get sued.

What to do when you encounter resistance? Go past the resistance or find another domain which you will love.

To me, it doesn't matter. Napoleon Hill only published Think and Grow Rich from age 54. And he's fighting so hard to teach people on the law of success towards the end. He's still teaching when he was at his 70s. That's dedication and giving back to the society. His writings are also far more superior than most other's. Great man!

Sure books won't make you humorous overnight. But if they can hasten your learning curve or make you just a little bit funnier, they will still be worth it.

There are two main parts. One is Non-ethical selling which is true that it is bad and some people do that. Second is over-charging. Actually, I feel self help is a legitimate industry and the prices are not really that high. Sure a book only costs $30 and an online course costs a few hundreds. A real life event is bound to cost more due to the cost of hiring people, need to book facilities, marketing cost and everything so charging a few thousands is also very reasonable. After all, the person is investing in himself which is one of the best forms of investment. Just don't overcharge. If someone is selling 3k per course and another is selling 20k per course but the first person has more likes, subscribers and credentials, then the second person definitely seem like over-charging. And don't keep selling courses during the course itself! Anyway yeah, just to add on, Dan Lok is an easy target to hate on. He's a Chinese (a minority where he is at) plus he has an arrogant look. Surely no one will defend him.

You won't get the full trauma but you will get some of the vibes if you are a very empathetic person. Like take for example, if you watch some dogs' videos where the dogs are suffering with no food or has injuries, then naturally you will think more and more sympathetic towards dogs in general. Then when you walk past an injured dog one day, a non-watcher will just walk past it without noticing while you will begin to notice the dog is injured.

You cannot remove all distractions. Your mind will always wander and you cannot take full control of your mind too. Even if someone plant an item in your mind, you will just think it. For example, I plant the word 'Black Pig'. Then you will think of a Black Pig. It doesn't matter even if I tell you to Don't think of a 'Yellow Dog', you will still be distracted by this word and you will think of a 'Yellow Dog'. And your mind will still daydream even if you try to remove all distractions. This is called a Monkey Mind.

You probably think too much. It helps if you have a job as a problem solver, analyst, researcher or professor in philosophy etc.
