  1. Wow, I didn't hold that as a possibility. I read in Conversations With God, that God experiences everything we do, so that would be (I guess) a similar experience as you mention. I found myself skeptical though, and the following objections came up: - But than you should be able to manifest that million dollar into your own bank account no? Or maybe manifest a pink elephant in front of your eyes? don't know if that is the same thing as manifesting a million dollar lol - Then can you dial in into the most enlightened beings alive and get all the wisdom and insights from them? And Dieties, are they there are shouldn't you be able to dial in on them too? How about dialing in on God?:D - You should be able to see what happens to people after they die? Not really an objection, but a curiosity I guess - You didn't know other people didn't have a similar experience?? But soo many people don't have such an experience (which you should then be able to have seen), so how could you assume everybody did? Thank you,
  2. Thank you, will watch:-)
  3. I've got 2 transmissions or so. In the last one I got told I got to loc 1000 (that's the max according to them), but I had trouble believing him and had the sense maybe he just says that because he wants it to be so. He send my picture to Ramaji or Ananda and they confirmed me at 1000. In the meanwhile though, nothing happened, no awakening. I don't trust too much in the technique, perhaps the whole thing is placebo but I don't know. A friend of me once told me that transmissions are much like shaking an apple tree. Once the apples are ripe enough give the tree a shake and the apples will fall, not much too it. So a transmissions can only work when you are already ripe, i.e. have done the work.
  4. @Leo Gura Are you sure this was God? I've felt some doubts because the communication seems very similar as how you talk. Same words, same way of talking, and not much new information. With some trips I thought to be in communication with God, but after the trip felt pretty sure it was bullshit that 'came out of my own mind'. I trust your trip a lot more in this, but still some lingering doubt. Perhaps try asking something you don't know next time, for example 'what is the capital of X'?
  5. @Inliytened1 I often hear things as reality isn't real, and you made a similar statement. Could you explain to me what that means to you? For me, if I would put what is called a dream next to what is called waking life/reality there is nothing to distinguish the two, so I would say they are both the same. I would call it all real then, dream = thought = waking life, and they are all real. Just some differences in length and clarity, and I think waking life might have an overlap with other dreamers/experiences, where I don't believe a dream or thought has that. However I don't get how they are all unreal. I suspect saying it is unreal is valid to someone who believes waking life is real and a dream is not real, but I would just like to make sure I'm not overlooking something. Thank you :-)
  6. Here is a website that offers online breathwork sessions which are just $25.00 per session. It's also possible to buy a subscription for attending all the sessions, for just $48.00 or so. I did a like 10 breathwork sessions by myself after watching Leo's shamanic breathing technique. Some sessions of those were very powerful, but stopped giving me the same effect after the 5/6th session. When I did these online breathwork sessions, in the first session I was quite blown away by what I experienced during it. Very powerful stuff. Link: https://breathworkonline.com
  7. Conventionally creating such a notion of good and bad can be useful. But it's not and can not be objective. Notions of good, bad and morality are subjective, Sam seems to try to do some magic with language and ideas to create a notion about objective well-being and morality. It's still subjective of course, but I find it a little silly to debate about such technical details Just my 2 cents
  8. Lately I'm doing the do-nothing whenever I feel my mind or emotions busy. For example when I had some anxiety at work, and come at home and still feel some leftovers I do the do-nothing. Before I need to do something and feel whatever emotions or mind business, I do do-nothing too. It seems to work for me
  9. It's not about the amount of hours, better loosen that notion up. The way you spend those hours is more important. It sounds like you're having the idea that working can't be fun. And are you equating having a successful career or business with well-being? Those are -thank god- not the same at all
  10. Sometimes a conditioning comes up of trying to be special when communicating. It's hard to get that out. I am insecure at times, and sometimes feel behind at some points in emotional development compared to people younger than me, that hardly even know the word spiritual. Haven't chased sex or girlfriends much, especially last 5 years. Never had a serious relationship, and don't have much experience in sex. There is shame and insecurity attached to it, because I feel I might not 'stand my ground' with sex.
  11. How do you know this? Or, what makes you say so? Just curiosity, thank you
  12. Hi guys, as I have - starting tomorrow - 8 days of holiday I wanted to turn it into a retreat at home. My plan is to do mostly strong determination sits with the do nothing technique of around 3 hours, and maybe I'll do some attempts to do some longer sits as well, as well as shorter sits for when it gets too gruesome :-) In addition to it, I was thinking about doing shamanic breathing every day in the morning, starting with an hour and building it up by 5 minutes or so. The idea of doing it in the morning is that is gives a altered state of consciousness, which might make it beneficial to have the meditations after it. In the 6th day or something, I'll use some shroomies in addition to the meditations, I'll probably leave the shamanic breathing out that day. Some things I'm not sure about. Are strong determination sits the way to go when doing a retreat, or best to do shorter sits like 1 hour? I think doing shamanic breathing (and shrooms) in addition to the meditations is fine or good, but if for some reason not beneficial, I'd like to hear it. It's my first retreat, so don't know well what will happen, but I guess it will give some good yield.. Thank you
  13. I've had some experience with transmissions, but they never did a lot for me. The same goes for this one, but I still enjoyed your video
  14. Realising there is no you, is not much of an intellectual thing, as it is a seeing or realisation based on seeing. If you want to get there is no you, best thing is to look for this you. A good way to look is investigating your own statements, so like; Can you find something that can appreciate? And how do you know the head is owned by something, can you find what is owning the head, or could it be just a head? If you look for this I that can or cant have a say over anything, what do you find? Can something be found that is feeling, or can only the feeling (sensations) be found? A lot of 'I' in there, if you look for this I you don't find anything, and if you look more carefully and longer, you still won't find it. It's because it's simply not there, to get clear on this you could either get it right now, or alternatively keep looking at it until it gradually becomes clear. Intellectualising your way towards getting these things, won't really work. Better to look directly for the 'it'.
  15. I've done shroomies numerous times, and most of those times there still have been some unprocessed traumas from other trips, meaning there was some unresolved fears. I used to be a little afraid when those unprocessed traumas were more 'juicy'. I found that if you start off with a milder dose, and handle yourself gently there will be no issue. You can always take more when you feel comfortable. You could also do a normal dose, and intent to release, you'd probably be fine if you're a little mature :-) Also, you could put on some calming music, on mushrooms your mind will match up with that music fast.
  16. @winterknight Hi. Some years ago there was the realisation here that there was no I. But this didn't result in any awakening or the like, although it changed the experience a bit in which it's clear there is no self. I've read you talking about that realising there is no self dissolves all trouble or identification. Are you talking about the same realisation or a deeper one? If deeper, then how would I pursue this, any ideas? Thank you :-)
  17. I had a similarish situation going on Pouya, and still to some degree. In matter of fact, I have a exam tomorrow but didn't study yet Because It's not within my field of interest. For myself, I don't want to, and won't give up consciousness work (much) in order to study or build a career To do something about your gaming addiction. perhaps you could try, when you have a free day, to play a videogame you're most addicted at for a long time. Do it until you'd like to quit and then some more and some more. Until you feel that the drive is gone (to some degree), it will happen usually noticeably, and quit suddenly when doing this technique. Just don't take any pauses in between playing. It's an effective technique. About your school, you could look at your ideas about studying. Probably stories are running in your mind that would be helpful to release. I've had/done the same thing and it's better now.
  18. Do you recommend attaining realization with this method for everyone? Also, my experience makes me say there is no 'observer' or 'observered', there is just the appearance or experience, so these questions like 'what does experience appear to' get hard, or a bit frustrating to follow. Could the inquiry from the question 'what is this appearing to?' be replaced by 'what is the context for this/experience?' or 'what does this appear in?', as how I understand it it must be more like consciousness should be the paper and perception the words written on it. Thank you, appreciated Edit: When being in the place of 'knowing experience', it feels comfortable to be there, and a (subtle) sense of blissfullness can come up. Is that the I feel you talk about?
  19. When I'm doing the technique, my breathing becomes slow and more forcefull after a while, spasmlike, and the experience becomes similar to what 5meo can do. Made a video of it, because I'm not sure if it would be more beneficial to just keep up the same breathing speed as in the beginning (the faster speed) when the breathing starts getting slower. (edit: video link removed) Any thoughts? Letting the body do its thing seems to make sense, but the slow breath and bodies movement is different from how the technique was suggested to be done, so I don't know. Edit; did it again, seems that at some point I go through a barrier of fear, In the beginning I want to stop when that starts, but then want to hang in there for just one second longer, and a second longer, and second longer, until the fear is noticed to lessen. Jeezz that's intense. Must be using the technique properly then after all lol
