There are two main reasons why it's easy to get trapped again.(remember there's no one there to get trapped that's why it's called an illusion) 1) Habit 2) The sense of self was not clearly seen through to be nothing other than conditioned thought patterns identified with as the "ME" over and over again.

But Awakening is not an intellectual understanding. It's also not adopting concept after concept until something clicks right with the self agenda. It's a complete dropping of concepts and self agenda that you are identified as. It's a disentangling from the socially conditioned mind matrix known as the 'ME'. When actual Awakening occurs the Seeker is recognized to have never been. So there is no longer a driver to go on seeking for answers because it's recognized the only thing that was seeking wasn't real in the first place. This is why Liberation is referred to as the end of seeking. You can't learn yourself to enlightenment. Well unless you're J Krishnamurti ? There has to be a willingness to empty the glass and admit that you actually know nothing... there has to be a willingness to drop everything and become nothing .....there has to be a willingness to die before you die.

Well does language being dualistic in nature confirm that dualism or relativity is real? This is why Enlightenment is often referred to as "A lifting of the Veil"... this phrase is pointing to the Revelation that Enlightenment is already the case but clearly not recognized until it is. ❤

❤ Listen, there are 2 main delusional requirements for the seeker. 1) Believing you are a separate individual that can find something. 2) Believing there is something missing which needs to be found or realized. When the futility of this relentless hide and seek game(hamster wheel running) is exposed, a question can arise such as: Who exactly is this character that relentlessly seeks for a better experience in the future? Then there can be a 180 degree directional energy flip from outwardly to inwardly. There can be a recognition that the only thing running on the hamster wheel endlessly seeking was identification with thinking. (ooh that kind a rhymed.. like that ?) It starts quickly becoming clear that this character being identified with as "ME" is more of a product of thinking or conditioning than an actual real entity. The character substructure changes from an impenetrable Ivory Tower to a wobbly House of Cards ready to topple over in next deep inquiry Breeze. This is typically the point where that seeking energy that has become an entity unto itself goes into retreat mode because it senses its own demise or death.... so just like anything else that wants to survive, it tries to get you to doubt everything recognized. It will say things like: you can't stop identifying with me or you will go crazy stop now and turn back. This is what's known as backlash, it's almost like gateless gate guard dogs to test your strength. The intensity and duration is different for everyone so there's no telling exactly how long it will last. I have to get ready for work ? ❤

Um This is why it's called Awakening. The relative or dualistic perception is clearly recognized to have never been ultimately real from the start... hence why it's called illusion or Maya. Of course it seems very real within the dream story identified as a separate individual within the body. So in a sense it's real and unreal.. Real because it's apparently what's being experienced prior to Awakening. Unreal because it lacks in Ultimate Reality post Awakening.

"The story of Adam and Eve is an allegory describing the loss of “paradise” through the arising of self-knowing. So, it seems, there is wholeness (paradise) and within that boundless, free-floating, causeless energy, something appears which experiences itself as being separate from that wholeness (paradise). Here is a metaphor pointing to what seems like “the story” of self-consciousness, out of which is apparently born the knowing and experience of free will, choice, time and space, purpose and direction. As “the story” unfolds, so the self learns to know “the world out there” and attempts to negotiate the best deal possible for itself . . . it apparently takes action to find pleasure and avoid pain. The greater the knowledge the more effective the action, the results and the apparent sense of personal control . . . or so it seems. All of these efforts bring varying results, and so the individual comes to know fluctuating states of gratification and disappointment. However, it can be noticed that there seems to be an underlying sense of dissatisfaction which drives the self to find a deeper meaning. Because the apparent self can only exist through its own knowing, its search for a deeper meaning will be limited to that which it can know and experience for itself. Within these limitations there are a multitude of doctrines, therapies, ideologies, spiritual teachings and belief systems that the seeker can come to know. There can also be the knowing and experiencing of states of silence, stillness, bliss, awareness and detachment, all of which seem to come and go like night and day. All of these teachings, recommendations and prescriptions are attempting to provide the seeker with answers to that which is unknowable, and ways to find that which has never been lost. So the self is the separate seeker that pursues everything that it thinks it can know and do, excepting the absence of itself. That absence is the emptiness which is unknowable, but paradoxically is also the very fullness, the wholeness (paradise) that is longed for. Should the apparent seeker meet with a perception which reveals in great depth the real nature of separation and also exposes, without compromise, the sublime futility of seeking, there can be a collapse of the construct of the separate self. That totally impersonal message carries with it a boundless energy into which the seemingly contracted energy of self unfolds. A resonance can arise which is beyond self awareness . . . something ineffable can be sensed . . . a fragrance and an opening to the wonder of unknowing can emerge. Suddenly, there seems to be a shift and an impersonal realisation that this is already wholeness. The boundless, naked, innocent, free-floating and wonderful simplicity of beingness is already all there is . . . it is extraordinary in its ordinariness and yet it cannot be described. -- Tony Parsons

There ALREADY isn't a "Self" within the body brushing its teeth....thats the illusion. So there is a conditioned body that has learned to brush its teeth so its breath doesn't stink and get cavities. But the owner/doer of these apparent happenings that claims ownership is Maya illusion of the self. As I have said before, if the body learned how to operate a crane or become a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu... That doesn't change after Awakening.... what changes is the inner self-centered claimant of these apparent achievements or titles... they are no longer important personal achievements which need to be upheld in order to keep the sense of self-satisfied(Maya). SIMPLY THIS: "The solution or the end of the seeking isn't a finding. That need to find something is never satisfied; it never happens. If it does, it's very temporary. I find something and I'm afraid of losing it; I find something and I'm trying to hold onto it; I'm trying something and I'm trying to maintain it. It's never satisfied. The end of the seeking is the end of the seeker, is the end of the experience, that 'this' is real. What's left is what's already obviously everything: THIS. This doesn't need anything else, this is already all there is. Whatever is happening—whatever feelings, thoughts, experiences are happening—that is the wholeness that is looked for. It's not the wholeness the individual's looking for. It's not the wholeness that the "I am" is looking for. It will always be dissatisfied with this.
