  1. We are just like the grass growing and the salmon spawning, just like a wildfire or disease spreading. It's not crucial or important. It just happens. It doesn't matter if it continues or stops. It doesn't matter if reality is understood or not, or if you keep trying The fame and fortune won't matter or eating healthy and exercising. The meditation, yoga and spiritual practices neither. Nothing will save us, not knowing, not enlightenment, not not knowing It's totally hopeless, but in this understanding there is also a sense of relief, a relaxation glimpse, a sense of unconditional freedom maybe. An invitation to inevitable hopeless freedom
  2. The difficulty is the subconscious will still attempt to label, identify and describe the experience/concepts according to its societal conditioning. It's so much easier if it's truly realized and embodied that "you really do not know" It has to be seen clearly that your knowledge and understanding of these concepts is or at least could be, completely incorrect. Unknowing is knowing you don't actually know.
  3. Things can seem to be a lot of ways. Up down bottom top middle good bad happy sad mad rad. Which angle are you looking from? Because underneath it all, its nothing appearing as something.
  4. Is this about you? It sounds like you looked in the mirror and had a self reflection moment with yourself or something. Are you feeling better at least? The good news is the Breakingthewall character that feels so strongly about this topic..........is completely unreal 😉 Look closely 👀
  5. I'm sure it's both, but ultimately it's nothing 🤷‍♂️
  6. @Breakingthewall I wasn't mocking what you said, it just sounded a lot like what certain people would describe back in the day when I would go to these hippie festivals/barter fairs. I'm older school 44yrs old. We would take psychedelics and hike up mountains, sit by the fire drumming and telling stories all night. It sounded very similar but in different language basically.
  7. @Breakingthewall You're like a super spiritual hippie using new age philosophical lingo! 🤗✌️.......I can dig it 🫶
  8. Then that's what's being experienced there. It's whole, complete and perfect! Just to be clear, in no way was I trying to insinuate that a no self awakening is deeper, better or more spiritually valuable than anything you have described. It almost sounds like you are repeating everything I talk about, except switching it from "unreal/illusion" to "real/reality".......kind of entertaining 🤷‍♂️ Prior to 2018, there was a very needy and desperate seeker here that was determined to understand all of reality or the truth of everything if you will. It thought that by knowing this information, it would gain some sort of advantage in life and over others. The truth would set me free. It read countless spiritual books, digested hundreds of hours of spiritual content from YouTube, did daily yoga sessions and meditated sometimes up to 2 hrs a day for over 2 years straight. If anyone could figure this stuff out, it was going to be me right! One day while feeling exhausted by all the endless spiritual seeking and without finding any lasting satisfaction, some questions arose like........Why am I doing all of this exhausting work? Who wanted the truth so damn badly? Where does this constant seeking energy come from? Who wants to know? The outwardly seeking completely halted and the internal seeking began.......it lasted several days, it was a very deep self introspection, or so it was thought to be. What happened over the next several days is difficult to describe because it wasn't like anything I had ever experienced previously or even heard of, and I had done quite a bit of hallucinogens in my late teens. It wasn't like any of those experiences at all. It was quickly becoming obvious that this me character wasn't as solid and real as it once seemed to be. As this introspection process continued, it became as if, the closer this self character was looked at, the more transparent or invisible it was becoming. It was dissolving as it was being interrogated. There was a lot of energetic excitement taking place because of how incredibly weird and surprising this was becoming. Everything started to feel lighter and less serious. This self character was being stripped away like onion layers at an onion ring factory. But simultaneously they weren't even being stripped away, rather they were never there from the start. There was a massive shift away from upholding this self construct called me.............its been quite a while now and it still sounds bizarre to tell the story.
  9. @Breakingthewall I understand what you're saying. I don't think you understand what I mean by "self illusion" No biggie!!!
  10. If nothing matters why not be vegan?
  11. Agreed! When all these learned beliefs, theories, concepts crumble away. What's being described in this thread, becomes obvious. The canvas is empty to see clearly for the first time.
  12. Yup, Completeness is every emotion/feeling, even the feeling of incompleteness is totally complete. It's all inclusive. It doesn't disregard or avoid because without the sour there couldn't be the sweet and without the dirty there couldn't be the clean. Without the good there couldn't be the bad and without the happy there couldn't be the sad.
  13. @Ziran happily hopeless 🤙 Yeah, it's underlying message is to relax and stop taking spirituality so seriously. I was a desperate seeker at one point. It was exhausting ❣️
  14. All bodies die. There isn't a you, me or them inside of these bodies. The human bodies are empty, just like a deer or cows body is empty. There isn't a self or higher self or soul or spirit inside or outside of these bodies. Nothing. The identification of being this, that or the other, is a self referential misunderstanding or self illusion. It's not wrong or ignorant to carry beliefs. The self illusion only knows what its taught and or assumes. Most self illusions are conditioned with dozens or even hundreds of learned beliefs. Usually a lot of deep seeded religious one's at that. But when this entire conditioned paradigm(matrix) is shattered or collapses(awakening), it becomes super obvious just how ridiculous/silly or imaginative these belief systems actually were. It's laughable and surprising just how real they had been taken for truth at one point. Similar to being surrounded by water your entire life, it doesn't even register what dry land could be or feel like until plop, your pulled out and dropped on your head onto dry land. 🫨 That's why it's called awakening. In a sleep dream everything seems true and real and happening to you because there is simply nothing else, until waking up occurs.
  15. The process initially had nothing to do with us until it seemingly did. No one or thing to blame 🤷
  16. Aww that's sweet they care about your well being. Cherish it bro. I totally hear ya though!
  17. Thinking with the socially conditioned mind only created more confusion and questions. Like trying to find an exact location using the wrong map for that territory But when that way of thinking ended, these claims became obvious.
  18. Anything can seem to matter temporarily, like avoiding physical/emotional pain. Ultimately though, the amount of pain and pleasure experienced during life, doesn't matter upon death.
  19. Yes I was referring to body death. Could self illusion/ego be that which believes in a higher power doing everything?
  20. Fake motivation has actually been proven to gradually motivate the individual and others involved. Just pretending to be overly excited about something can actually increase peoples real motivational levels on the subject/activity.
  21. Interesting to hear non-duality referred to as a teaching. The words meaning is pointing to everything as one without a second, all encompassing, nothing excluded. It insinuates the bodies natural tendency to separate, categorize, individualize, personalize and attempt to control its surroundings is just an egoic survival strategy/instinct the body develops from birth. There's nothing right or wrong with it. Nonduality is just pointing out that that sense of being a separate self is ultimately illusory. At a certain time in human evolution it was crucial and it is still significant to a certain extent today regarding the body's survival. The apparent issue is that sense of self/survival mechanism doesn't have an adjustable switch. It just runs rampant like the energizer bunny. It takes over and becomes an entity in of itself. It creates a rather threatening, scary, self centered experience of reality. (matrix) A nondual awakening would imply a recognition or seeing through these mechanisms of illusory separation.
  22. Yep, Nothing actually needs to be surrendered because it's already not there. There isn't a someone/something in which could surrender. There isn't a someone/something to be surrendered. No surrenderer and no surrendered. It's not a future surrendering event which has to take place first. This is already enlightenment. The believer/meditator/knower/realizer, isn't there now. This is already freedom and unconditional love.
  23. He is describing authentic awakening details. Meaning purpose and value are clearly seen through I don't understand his motivation to teach. I think that body must like it!
  24. Sounds like a fictional story from the Chronicles of Inflated Ego Land 🤔
