Either the self illusion is clearly seen through/recognized to be completely unreal, or it is not. There isn’t scale to it or an in-between! Enlightenment is when identification as the self illusion comes to an abrupt stop. There is no longer an identification as this or that! When its just emptiness appearing as everything/fullness. Its the end of imaginary stories, beliefs and concepts, and illuminates the empty nature of apparent reality! ❤️

For example, I have only come across maybe 2 members on this forum since around 2018 that even remotely reflect a clear, solid recognition if you will. And even on YouTube, I have only noticed maybe 7 total in the last 6 or 7 years. Even more interesting is that most can seem very convincing for a while, but then fall back into the dream story/matrix rather quickly. See, its not an achievement or something that can be worked towards with spiritual practices. In fact, just the very knowledge of there being an achievable goal in the future called Enlightenment, seems to be the biggest spiritual/religious trap of all time. The very act of pursuing it only reinforces the illusory experience of being a separate individual that can one day become whole and completely satisfied! But self illusions for some apparent reason, never become satisfied. They endlessly seek and long for something better in the future. Self illusion = Unsatisfactory experience. Either the self illusion ends or it doesn't. Nothing can be done. Its completely hopeless in that sense. Ultimately it doesn't matter at all. Why? because the individual labeling things with a scale of importance,..........Isn't Real! ❤️

Nothing from the past creates a real character in the present or future. The past is gone and the future is only a thought! Past and future thoughts about oneself does not = a real self in the present. There is nothing actually there......take a close look.......it's emptiness appearing as a conditioned self. The past conditioning simply does not equal a present self.....its an illusion......a really good one at that 🤣 LOOK 👀 👁 🧐 ❤️ 💙 💜

There isn't a real seeker now, just seeking energy contracted within the body. There isn't a real You in which could reach Enlightenment. Enlightenment IS already the case......it's just the insatiable self illusion believing its somewhere else in the future. ❤️

I get what you are saying. The apparent issue is the misunderstanding that an illusion can be broken down in the first place. The self illusion doesn't want to be broken down, nor can it be. Rather, it wants to be there front and center to bask in the apparent benefits. It wants enlightenment for itself, and why wouldn't it right? It sounds like the ultimate spiritual achievement of a lifetime. Its constantly reconfirming itself through these endless spiritual practices. The very practicing itself insinuates that there is indeed a real individual getting closer to achieving spiritual enlightenment. It also perpetuates the belief that the current reality is not already complete and perfect...........it's endlessly needy......it's never satisfied. This misunderstood approach is like trying to use gasoline to put out a fire or shouting for silence. Enlightenment ends this ridiculous hamster wheel fiasco. It stops the seeking dead in its tracks because its now recognized the seeker was never real from the start. The constant seeking is the prison and never finding satisfactory results is the suffering! But there's nothing right or wrong with seeking in general ❤️

I was in the military for 20 years so I do lay around quite a bit now. But not all the time....I have 3 boys, a girlfriend and an 8 month old german shepherd/husky mix pup lol. This wasn't meant as a bs brag post or something for an inflated ego to munch. Just information sharing....that's it! There are flowers and trees and plants and animals and bodies. These physical appearances are as real as real can get........& yes if you poke a hungry mother bear with a stick, she might rip your throat out and allow her cubs to eat the carcass. Enlightenment is not about anything physical with apparent reality. It's not about anything in particular at all. It's also not about dying or surrendering or denying or avoiding. But the whole recognition simultaneously includes all of these things.......enlightenment is all inclusive....it includes everything and rejects nothing. Enlightenment pertains to the End of a seemingly personalized identification experience. And nobody realizes it. Nobody wakes up. Nobody continues on living the good enlightened life. So it's not for anyone 😔.......I know, it's disappointing. What continues living on, is an empty body until it physically dies. This emptiness or nothingness is simultaneously the fullness or completness longed for by the self illusion. But this emptiness phenomenon is only recognized when the self illusion is also recognized as emptiness. It's just no longer energized, when it's clearly seen to be unreal. But nothing actually dies because it was never real from the start......hence why its referred to as a self illusion. Bottom line: It's very very very rare......so be skeptical of anyone claiming enlightenment......or don't......it doesn't ultimately matter either way......nothing does. ❤️

The word individuals was used for communication purpose..... Otherwise it would be: Emptiness recognized that emptiness hasn't recognized that its actually emptiness appearing as a real separate individual. And it's surprising to emptiness that emptiness doesn't recognize the emptiness more commonly! ❤️

Nothing is actually happening. Neither consciousness or experience is real. Experience only seemingly occurs in the dream story/matrix. There has to be a conditioned "ego"/"I" to judge and outwardly cast its opinions onto nothing, which seemingly turns nothing into an apparent experience or a something. But the experiencer is an "illusion"/"ego"......it's not really there. No ego = No experience No self illusion = No experiencer They are the exact same thing, just different words used! Consciousness is a made up human concept, stemming from bodily senses like sight, sound and imagination. When the body dies, so does the concept of consciousness and its so-called conscious existence/experience. Nothing goes on living eternally because that which wants eternal experience is an illusion, and was never born. There is an appearance but it's an empty happening and it's completely undefinable because the individual trying to define it, is an illusion. And there is nothing to compare it to because it's everything and nothing simultaneously.........it takes an infinite amount of time to define infinity 🤣 ❤️

The entire "sense of self"/"self construct" that desperately wants to attain enlightenment = Ego It's everything you would write down, if someone told you to describe yourself using 1000 words.....it's the all encompassing I character. Ego death ends up being the realization that it wasn't real to begin with. It was just never actually there from the start......but it certainly seemed to be! The energy given to this illusory character gets reduced and eventually fades completely (ego death). But is realized, nothing actually happened at all.....it was an illusion falling away! ❤️

It's the nature of survival. The body is convinced the more it knows, the better the odds of survival are. The apparent issue is, its just impossible to ever fully understand infinity. It's endlessly needy. It asks why? why? why? how? how? how?..........until its blue in the face! It never becomes satisfied. It feels confused because it has control issues basically ❤️

It doesn't matter where the "sense of self" comes from.....who cares? You could say it comes from being a conditioned human being raised in society or whatever. Point is, it's not real! It's emptiness identifying as the illusory past experiencer. There isn't a "you" there period! Past experiences, memories, beliefs, actions,..........don't exist anymore! It doesn't equate to anything. There is zero substance. You is emptiness seemingly being past memories/assumptions ❤️

First you have to be conditioned enough to believe that evil is even real for starters......it often looks like an imaginary framework in your belief system that says something is "evil" and another something isn’t (opposite) Then you go about your life judging everything from this imaginary framework thus creating what is often referred to as the Dream Story or Matrix. (Doesn't just include so-called evil) Once there is a conditioned belief system in place, the endless stories begin. Part of Awakening is recognizing this within one's own psyche! Hell, someone could actually make a good argument that the most loving action would be to annihilate humanity completely, so nobody else has to suffer ever again! Everything is actually just neutral or meaningless until a conditioned belief system starts judging it! ❤️

I think spirituality is a fear based endeavor for most people. Deep down they are searching for a way to escape their current reality and escape death in the future. If some guru tells them what they want to hear, it comforts them and gives them hope! Here it was about finding the Truth. I wanted to know the Truth about everything. I felt like I would be willing to die for the Truth. I think fake spirituality is getting coddled and real spirituality is Truth seeking! ❤️

Spirituality doesn't have framework. The illusion of spiritual progress within a framework is probably comforting for certain people. I understand what you are trying to accomplish......good on you sir! 🫶 💞
