  1. Also in general, if happiness is unconditional and that is a possibility shouldn't one focus solely on actualizing that rather than any kind of conditional happiness (I guess they wouldn't know 100% if unconditional happiness does actually exist)
  2. @Preetom Deep appreciation. Everything is much more clear now. I will definitely be on the path to actualize unconditional happiness (and once that happens I will probably understand this completely aswell). In the mean time do you think it's okay for one to pursue conditional happiness?
  3. @LastThursdaybut why would you do those things in the first place? I realized that while I am working toward this state of unconditional happiness I don't want to be suffering, bored, neutral, etc so I can seek these conditional forms of happiness until the point where I am unconditional happy. So it seems like one can have sex, watch TV, follow life purpose, etc while they are on the path till unconditional happiness because once it is unconditional they won't need it and while it the happiness isnt conditional they will want it. Also still why would an unconditional happy person do those things in the first place? Do anything at all? @Leo GuraOnce you are (or if you already are now) unconditionally happy or enlightened why follow your life purpose or do anything with actualized.org?
  4. @Dumb Enlightened Rather than maintaining your living conditions there would be no reason to do anything. Assuming you are unconditional happy, what do you do all day? (deepen this unconditional happiness through spirtual practice?) Is this happiness you have at the level of an sexual orgasm? (even if it's not in the same raw hedonic fashion, is it superior to a sexual orgasm, feeling stimulated from watching TV or feeling compassion from helping others?) What do you mean do because you just do?
  5. @LastThursday Lol I am not in the unconditional happiness state right now. I am saying assuming such a state exist (like when you are awakened). Once you are at that point why do anything at all? Although thinking about it that is assuming that the effort of doing those things will be painful which won't be the case cause unconditional happiness but still why would you do whatever in the first place?
  6. @Preetom Appreciation. My understanding on unconditional happiness increased although I have a few areas of confusion. Is true unconditional happiness (a sense of searching for happiness) only that attained from spirtuality? Are there any other forms or ways for unconditional happiness (like practicing acceptance, etc)? But still why do anything else when you are in the absence of searching for happiness?
  7. @LastThursdayLet's go through all of those, although I am being broad with happiness here -To help others --> Happiness (through compassion) -To improve your skills --> Happiness (through feeling achieved) or an to gain an accomplishment which is --> Happiness (through feeling achieved) -To distract from boredom (and move into what?) --> Happiness (through being stimulated) -To enlighten yourself --> Happiness (through knowing your existential nature) -To learn about yourself --> Happiness (through your curiousity being sated) -To bring joy to others --> Happiness (through compassion again) -To earn more money --> Happiness (peace of mind, ability to do other things which bring happiness or depending on your motivation you may not find any) -Etc --> Happiness/Joy/Satisfaction always If happiness can be unconditional than it seems like all these become obsolete. Although how do you define happiness (a sense of contentment? rather than feeling stimulated from a conversation or feeling satisfaction, compassion through helping others)? In the end all these lead to happiness (as defined here) which leads to my original question.
  8. @NoSelfSelf What do you mean by happiness (a mild sense of contentment?)? Also what other reason would you have to do those cool things?
  9. @Preetom Interesting. I was using hyperbole but that is still somewhat true. In a way I am concerned about it as I am seeking the truth of this matter.
  10. What is the way to maximize all of these for enlightenment? Ditch practices completely and do 5 Meo DMT, do minimum practices and do 5 Meo DMT, etc. Why even do a second of meditation if 5 Meo DMT can bring the same quicker and easier? Why not just be consistently on 5 Meo DMT (as much as you can without dying) for the rest of your life? So just maximize your finances to be able to live comfortably on 5 Meo DMT for the rest of your life.
  11. What's the point, understanding reality doesnt seem to elicit happiness (like having a sated curiousity? really?) Like are you literally in constant euphoria when awakened? There is no suffering, no anxiety, no depression, etc but what about the positives (it is not like its some stimulating video game or sex that's ego , so what is there? Fulfillment? That seems to be weak) Literally it seems like the only reason anything is done is for greater joy (not only hedonism but other joys or overall greater "experiences") so how does enlightenment bring this and does understanding and being God elicit this?
  12. @Rilles How do you cultivate the love and curiousity?
  13. @Rilles Ahh man why can't I get that everytime I meditate it's boring asf feeling into sensations and awareness
  14. @purerogue @purerogueSay less. How do I do that?
  15. @Nahm Appreciation. My understanding has highly increased. Does full on God care about pleasure, joy as we limited human do? (Even enlightened people cared to remove suffering) What if any are the differences between full on God after death of the body? And God awakening when in form? Also why not just shoot yourself than? (I know this has been discussed but I believe Leo countered this by saying ego mind will reincarnate) It seems that after a few trips and awakenings to validate your spirtual understanding it would be most efficient to take a bullet to the skull. And whatever oh life is beautiful, oh contribute and embody this or that seems to have absolutely nothing on full pefection/god after your physical body dies. Also any disadvantage from moving from life to death would be an imperfection in after death (full god perfection) because it doesn't "offer" that.
  16. In general and those who have become directly conscious of this what have you learned?
  17. @Nahm That's alot to take in but I think I now understand the first part well. For the second part, so experiencing reality as it is without thoughts is true joy? Basically the idea of Being? It is unconceivable to me how that is enjoyable - seems to be the most boring thing ever (neither hedonic or eudaimonic). Is it like you are at the content level you would be at if you received 100 million dollars (or more consciously if you impacted a million people's lives) but without judging anything to be good or bad?
  18. @ajasatya Thanks bro! I guess I'll just go become a stock brocker and chase money for the rest of my life.
  19. @Leo Gura Oh ardd, very blunt however straight facts. I guess get rich quick schemes don't apply in spirtuality either. So 5 Meo DMT is like a new ability to help you move up the levels rather than being a cheatcode to skip levels?
  20. @Aakash I don't mean the Ego, we can assume that dissapears. I mean the True Self or No Self or Awareness that is God. Where does that go? Reintegrate into God? Reincarnate?
  21. @Leo Gura So would the crutch be dependent in the sense that you would lose awakened and consciousness states if you lost the finances and ressources to support your 5 Meo DMT lifestyle? What's actually wrong/detrimental with using 5 Meo DMT consistently, yeah it can be considered a crutch but why does that matter? Also wait a second.. so what I am hearing is that no matter what those 20 years of meditation are waiting for your ass if want lasting results anyway? Regardless what is the recommended (most efficient and effective) path? Doing mininum practices to build the foundation then maximizing 5 Meo DMT (to the edge of where it starts to hurt you)?
  22. @Nahm Both @Aakash@Nahm In terms of physical body dying (assuming the go dies) where does the trascendal self/awareness go? Like reintegrate with God? Reincarnate?
  23. @Nahm Sorry man I'm intellectually challenged --- What's so great about no suffering? What I am saying is: on a scale say there is suffering at 10-20 and joy at 3 (with whatever pleasures of ego attachments)? So enlightement bring suffering to 0 (that's great and all) but what joy does it bring and can you describe it?
