  1. and thank you for everything! I'm sorry about the late response, I got distracted
  2. Let's not make this personal, nobody will win, trust me. This is a public forum so when you share something, you're sharing it with a lot of people. I fully understand you, I just don't want to give anyone a "panic" attack. So I was not only speaking to you, I was speaking to everyone. If this was a private conversation, I would not correct you at all!
  3. Yes, you fully get it! But let's not forget about the little ones. And yes, I assumed a lot! I was just trying to play it safe for everyone
  4. @MTR "Destructive" could be a bit of strong word for some people (I'm sorry about my usage). There's something good and something bad on everything, depending on your point of view. There's a lot of types of meditation, do what works for you, stop doing what doesn't work for you and you'll find your path.
  5. I like that. I'm playing with a variation of it: "Treat others the way they want to be treated." Let's see how that goes
  6. Yes, the world is constantly changing. This has its benefits and its negatives. It can sometimes be hard to handle uncertainty but keep reminding yourself that uncertainty also brings good changes. Also, not everything is out of your control
  7. @modmyth The internet and social media are still in it's development stage. It put together cultures that used to live their separate lives. I was on Facebook from the very beginning and different cultures hated each other. It was very interesting to watch how it improved considerably within few years, we tolerate each other's differences more and more. I believe that at this moment our problem is the language. There's too many different translations of the same words, this will self adjust in couple of years. Good communication is very important. And yes, it will all settle somewhere in the "middle ".
  8. Devil is God’s destructive powers.
  9. I like that. I think in a sense we are already doing that but not everyone. Also another way to increase the overall knowledge is to specialize and use the collective brain power and we're already doing that too. Also let's not forget technology that stores the information too so we can unload a little bit. So it would be great to make it much more efficient and PEACEFUL (egos kill knowledge).
  10. Yep, it's up to you what you do with it. You can either use it and make your life better for it or you can ignore it and keep the same life as you have. It's all up to you! And of course, it's completely up to me whether I'll keep sharing my "magic" or not. There's no point in doing things that people can't handle.
  11. Yep, fully agreed. Devils can brings the worst devils in us! haha
  12. Thank you for your personal opinion haha
  13. Yep, story of my life. Time for a change!
  14. Good point haha Maybe all the scientists should get out of their boxes and work together. Too much specialization!
  15. I definitely think you're on the right track. Keep going, we all need as much knowledge as we can get. I even started thinking that one single brain can't absorb all the information, we need to specialize and share our specialty with the world. So thank you
  16. Exactly what I thought so maybe that when we attach an emotion, it gets stored but when it's unimportant to us or we reject it, it doesn't get stored. What do you think? I keep making a link to our current thinking and our memory. It's a bit of an illusion because it all depends on how we personally interpret the information. That doesn't mean that the external world doesn't exist, it does, we just need to be careful that we interpret it without personal identification.
  17. Let's give him a break, he's still partly a human being. But there's surely a big potential, a lot of his ideas are very original and can help a lot of people. Perfection doesn't exists and none of us are perfect. It's about working together.
  18. @remember Sorry, this is only my personal direct experience, it's not fully baked yet.
  19. The thought feels like it came out of nothing but I have a suspicion that it's fed from out body's energy and we just manipulate it to whatever we want. Our memory is our past thoughts that we stored. There's this current thinking part of our brain (conscious) and the memory is like a hard drive for storing past information (subconscious).
  20. The biggest obstacle on the path to enlightenment is the pain of being wrong. (PS I've been there, done that and it hurts!)
  21. I like that, thank you for sharing My theory is that we attach the emotion to the thought. The confusing bit is that we might've attached that emotion in the past so when we think the same thought now as we did in the past, it brings up the same emotion that we attached to it in the past (thoughts, images etc meaning the same thing).
