  1. I’m not really sure what you mean. The way I see it is that our mind is the source of our happiness but we do need funds to survive so why not to make it a happy process.
  2. What about doing things that make you happy that other people are happy to pay you for so you have the funds to be even more happy.
  3. At the end, the only label that matters is what you think of yourself as you know yourself more than anyone else ever can. Be who you want to be, I think that’s the greatest achievement and a proof of strength! The society needs a variety of characters and roles to function well. Anyone who dares to tell me who I need to be, can go somewhere! haha
  4. The way I see it is that we do adapt to our environment but ultimately we create what we focus on. Our brain likes to be right so if you think that things are bad you might subconsciously make them bad even if they’re not rather than focusing on making them better.
  5. Maybe because it hasn’t happened yet. You’re still in the airport. I’d also be very careful not to have too high expectations as you can get easily disappointed. The trip might not be perfect but I’m sure that there will be good things that will make you happy and excited if you look out for them. Reality is a bit different from imagination. Just remember it’ll be as good and exciting as you make it!
  6. You haven’t failed till you say that you’ve failed. When you keep going and eventually succeed everyone will forget your previous failures. That said, I was brought up to work hard but I learnt hard way that working smart is much more rewarding. That includes constant learning how we can do things better way, not repeating the same mistakes and protecting yourself and your efforts. Good luck
  7. Maybe try backup plans. Every time I’m scared of something happening, I try to come up with a plan how to deal with it if it does happen. Most of the time, I realise that it’s not as bad as I thought it was or that there is something that I can do now to prevent it from happening or reduce the damage it can cause.
  8. Thank you for the info Personally, I don’t trust anyone till I see a proof. haha But I do believe there’s so much to tell from our body language, like: do we like something or not are we interested in something or not what our current mood is do we like someone or not I still have to learn about lying but if someone is not adding up in everything they say and do, they are very likely lying.
  9. I had an episode like that about 15 years ago when I thought that the world is a horrible place. Once I realised (as you did) that the world is constantly getting better compared to where it was 100 years ago, it made me feel a bit better. The main thing was that change doesn’t happen overnight and also that someone has to do something to change it. It’s very hard to change the whole world but we can change our little world and see where it leads us. And yes, there are horrible things in this world but there are also beautiful things too that are worth persevering to make this world a better place.
  10. I’ve been wondering about that. Nowadays, when we can google anything we want and find the answers much easier than 30 years ago, what is the point of making our kids memorise things. I’d so would prefer them to learn to be more creative, progressive and collaborative. Is really playing a horrible thing? Isn’t it how children learn, through playing. I think that we’re stalling because of the current education system. I grew up in the eighties and the fast progress of computers was so exciting. I thought that by now we would have holidays on Mars!!
