@inFlow I love this picture, looks so true. And it's not like 2 trips and you're permanently on the level of mystical experience. The base level of consciousness is probably miles away from that line of mystical experiences for most of us.

I see much more disadvantages for using cannabis compare to classical psychedelics. But if someone accepts these disadvantages (cannabis addictive, sometimes you feel dumber, you feel bad the day after (similar effect to alcohol)), why not, I feel it can be used for spiritual growth.

Everything is consciousness. Everything includes body! So, of course consciousness can't leave body because body is consciousness. But Alex bliss may stop be conscious of the body by having anesthesia for example.

Imagine Bob has a dream with bob dream character. Does bob have a free will? Probably not, unless bob realises that he is not just bob, but he is Bob and always was Bob. Now we can say that bob has a free will to dream whatever he wants but as a Bob, not as a bob dream character. Edit: So, essentially, you are asking how to show bob that he is a dream character? I don't know. I would say meditation, yoga, psychedelics is the way. But maybe, as people mentioned, just tell bob to observe his thoughts. It should be clear at some point that bob doesn't create them (the same applies to actions).

Interesting, for me mushrooms was much more gentle than LSD. But I am a psychonaut-beginner.

I can understand that if I never taken psychedelics I don't want to speak about them (since it will be far away from truth), or tell about sex if I didn't have one, imagine virgin teaches the nature of sex.
