  1. I want to know if there's a good diet a college student can follow while not breaking bank, people commonly say that eating healthy is expensive, but want to break that myth. If you are a college student who somehow follows a good health shopping list, or you just know a cheap one, can you list them
  2. yeah, right now im reading a book on how to overcome some social anxiety and, one of the things you can do is give the negative voice in your head a goofy name, and everytime you get a " why did you say that" "you cant be open" sort of thought I tell the name how silly it is
  3. To me, I find affirmations to soothe me when I am feeling a bit down. When you receive critics or judgments from people, you tend to naturally shift into a negative emotion but if you catch the emotion and thought, you can tell yourself "its good, this is who you are, you are not this label"
  4. What are the ways you become more verbal, or open in conversation? I have been a natural introvert, but I am beginning my journey into becoming more extroverted and direct with my points in conversations, although sometimes its hard because I've naturally been the guy who just listens to people and add a couple of things to the convo?
  5. Personally, I am passionate about soccer, so I find myself buying all soccer related things like jerseys, shoes, playing in real life, and the video game, I don't find anything wrong, but in the meantime while you're playing it, there are things you could alternatively be doing. What I do is I listen to podcasts on personal development or listen to a good audiobook. I have played the franchise for son long, that I really am on autopilot on the game while I concentrate on the audiobook or whatever, its nice because you don't need to pay attention to any plot or timeline
  6. I'm thinking of learning German, because it's a lot similar to Dutch, an it's also a widely used language
  7. @Scarecrow Fifa 16 I assume, and I play it as well. I tend to play sport games because they mimic real life activity and strategy along with having a simulation to real life events, very fun indeed. The problem is if you play it out of compulsion. You're bored so you say, I dont have anything to do so i'll play it, meditation is an option. BTW i find myself doing this plenty of times too..
  8. One of the things I've found along my journey that have helped me become more positive was to not take any filters for the people you meet seriously. At my job there was this guy who had negative judgments from other people for the choices he's made( I'm new at the job btw) and it subconsciously made me put on on him, but I had conversations with this guy and he was totally positive and optimistic in his desires and goals, it brought some motivation in me to talk about my own, regardless of choices people make, dont take them seriously and look at how other people inspire things in you
  9. I find Social Media as a way to easily communicate with others who you otherwise wouldn't have the chance to meet in person, and it is a great platform to do so, but if you're using it to communicate and interact with those near you, you're missing out on the qualities that make you have physical expression and the ones that give you confidence to express yourself in public. It is also superficial, with the memes, "love" posts, seemingly "happy" relationships, and propaganda, you'll find yourself out of it in no time
  10. The better question is...Why are you playing video games? and in particular what type or genre of video games attract you the most ?
  11. My aspiration is to in the future, teach language lessons and prove some ancillary service like something that involves skills from my job as a technology professional, I don't know much about setting up a business like this, but i'd also have to learn the skills required in having a method or models for tutoring as well as having certification(if required). I love languages and I currently am fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese, and working on Dutch. For the moment I am tutoring several people online and am having a success, and my goal is to set this up locally since there aren't any tutoring services for language! What are you doing in your personal quest for Entrepreneurship to start off?
  12. My dream is to get success in having success in my career and having great interpersonal relationships in the jobs that I do. It is in the field of technology, and it is a field that I find myself at home. Along with that and my other big interest is Language. I love learning languages and learning about different cultures and their philosophies and by learning language, I can communicate with them and in general have deeper connections. My dream is to incorporate this passion for language along with technology in to some entrepreneurial endeavor where I can travel and work. Im thinking this will involve tutoring or teaching lessons along with having a consultation business.
