Wouldn't say so, but sure, ok. Yes. But a seeker that is not conscious and mature enough might be mislead by just labels. Again, it does not matter once you've awoken and you see things for what they are. On the very begging stages of your awakening it matters what labels you use. A thought, an idea, a belief, a wrong word... can lead you straight into hell. Believe it or not. Ok, yes, but the way you put that comes off a bit narcissistic. You are not the canter of all creation (which is duality btw), rather you are all of creation. You don't even have to mention it, or think about it. It's just how it is. The moment you state it, it kind of becomes cringy. -

If you really wanna awaken, instead of listening to deluded gurus, you should listen to Meshuggah, every day, religiously. In fact, here's a new standard: You ARE NOT AWAKE unless you fuck with Meshuggah. God said it. It's a universal law. A lie, what once I was, obsolete instrument An outmoded contraption, a malfunctioning device That callous self now extinguished, that malignant self now disused That conceited invention to nothing now reduced Complete disintegration, the destruction of me now imperative To purge myself of this condition, complete this dissolution a necessity Break this deceitful machine -

Wokeness is precisely why I can easily see through beliefs such as solipsism. There are many, many other suitable words. Oneness, Unity, Singularity, etc. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Nope, it's consciousness. I do not disagree with that. I'm just saying, calling it 'solipsism' is misleading and dangerous. If you ask me, that word should only be mentioned as a trap on the path. -

@Leo Gura Mind is a thought. Outside of consciousness, yes. Not mind. If you do not emphasize that it's metaphysical, it is likely that a seeker will fall into the trap of believing their 'egoic self' and their 'egoic mind' is the only thing in existence. Which is major delusion. -

@Someone here Cool dude, as you see it fit. I was just trying to help you see through some limitations. But it's not like I care too much about what you believe, how conscious you are or whatever. There is only ever thought, feeling and perception in direct experience. And that's not Buddhist or no-self bullshit or whatever other kind of bullshit. It's as simple and as obvious as it gets. You think, you feel and you perceive. There is nothing more to direct experience. 'Doing, eating, pissing, shitting, fucking, living organisms'... those are all just ideas accompanied by feelings. Good luck seeking. -

Relative = two or more. Absolute = only one. Of course there is no actual separation. Again, just painting a picture. The separation is imaginary. You have not dived deep enough. Or you're not paying attention close enough. When you touch your body there is a feeling. When you knock on wood there is feeling. And an idea that you're touching your body or knocking on wood. Your entire body is just a feeling which you label 'body'. You can perceive an object and label it 'body', but again, be careful, pay attention. That is just perception. Just an idea. Just a feeling. Which is all consciousness ultimately. No actual bodies anywhere. And nothing physical about any of this at all. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here I am creating a separation between the Absolute and the relative to explain a point of view. Hence the apparent contradiction. But actually, there is none. 'Ivan' is a thought, which is consciousness, yes. 'Mind' is also a thought. 'Body' as well. You can feel your body, but what is that? It's just a feeling and a thought. No actually bodies anywhere to be found. It's just a perceived idea accompanied by a feeling. You can be super grounded and live an ordinary everyday life while simultaneously seeing through 'the illusion' and abiding as pure consciousness. Not saying I'm there all the time, but I am very often. And yes, consciousness is indeed myst, nothingness, nowhere, 'floating around in empty space'. There is nothing above, bellow or beyond it. Not even nothing. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here I don't think I can be any clearer. Consciousness. That is what I absolutely am. Even though there is no real 'I' in the Absolute. 'Ivan' is a bundle of thoughts, feelings, perceptions - if you're curious about that. My identity is a psychological construct - if you will. It is, ultimately, delusion. But another way to look at it is, it's God's favourite character to play in his favourite movie of all time. The play and all of its participants are respected as unique expressions of the One, true nature. -

You already are the Universe. It's not about becoming, it's about being (conscious of you being the Universe) -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Nope, sorry, false. Consciousness is not a personal thing to me. That's again duality and being lost in thought/perception. There is just consciousness. That's all. It's not attached to anyone or anything, it's not personal, it has nothing to do with a human being, or anything else. It is just conscious (of itself) as consciousness. Also, that there is a world that disappears with me when I die is an idea. Not to be too cocky, but I did experience 'physical death' and guess what... Consciousness remains. -
I slept only 5 hours, three days in a row now... and it's not nice. I definitely do not feel like it's enough. I tried pretty much everything when it comes to sleeping patterns, and what I found is that 8 to 9 hours of sleep works the best for me. My mind is much quieter, I'm more centered, clear-headed, emotionally stable, etc.

@Inliytened1 My bad. Illness does not sound right. Mental disorder is what I meant. Delusion. It is a belief that distorts reality. It is not clarity. Not actuality. "Aloneness" does not seem right either, since no one or nothing is actually ever alone. That's again just a thought or a feeling. Singularity is not alone. It's just single. Oneness is not alone. It's just one. But yeah, in the end of the day, it's all just word play. Some may prefer this word, others that word. One should only be careful not to confuse a belief for actuality. No matter what words come out of the mouth. -

Or maybe you just think so? What if there is no human and nothing attached to it? What if there is only consciousness? -

@Buck Edwards There is only one "thing" in existence and this "thing" is non - physical, non - human. -
Not the most heartfelt thing I ever read, but I suppose it is a step in the right direction. Hopefully this becomes a new standard, instead of being just a cute little blog post that will be soon forgotten. This should be among the highest of values. Not something that's kind of behind the scenes, and is mentioned every now and then. There is deep, deep intelligence behind being kind, loving, compassionate, authentic, etc. It's not just because it's nice and we should treat each other's kindly, etc. That's a very kindergarten level of understanding of true respect, compassion, humility, etc. Those are some of the highest frequencies you can access throughout the entire Universe. It has little to nothing to do with being human. It is just what we are being lead to learn. It is the next step in our evolution - if you will. We are learning to be heart centred, without sacrificing the clarity of our minds. Awakened heart. Awakened mind. Come together as One. One awakened consciousness.

@Someone here You are just straight out wrong here, sorry. You are saying perception is Absolute Truth, when it is common sense that it is not. Consciousness (which you absolutely are) is not limited to the 5 human senses. You can dissolve your human senses, just like you can dissolve your ego, and then it is obvious that perception is a limitation and can never be absolutely true. Only relatively. It's simple... it requires a perceiver and a perceived object, which means it's duality. Not Oneness. -
ivankiss replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
"Raw sensory experience" is not absolute. You are confusing your human senses, which are limited, with consciousness, which is limitless. -
ivankiss replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Veil of perception... Real is consciousness, directly, right now. Anything other than that is still real, because its Source is real, but it's also a distortion. A delusion. An illusion. Or whatever else word you prefer. -
What you are looking for is emotional maturity and mastery, not just to be more emotional. That's a big difference. First you need to get in touch with your feelings, as you are probably numbed out and do not allow yourself to feel what wants to arise. Do that using any tool or method that suits you. Maybe music, a movie, maybe go kick a punching bag or whatever. Just get in touch with your feelings. Everyone has feelings. You cannot not feel. How aware you are of those feelings and how you are handling them comes down to how developed and conscious you are in general. Some people try to distract themselves with work, entertainment or whatever else. Others overthink. Some end up being psychopaths. It's all just a coping mechanism. Usually an escape. A way to avoid feeling unpleasant feelings. But it is only through feeling them that you can come to understand them and become more centered and mature. Emotional maturity does not mean you do not experience unpleasant emotions. It simply means you know how to handle them in a safe, mature way. Transform them, or maybe even channel them and create something meaningful.

Any artist in general... but let's take music for an example. I put a lot of hours into a song. From start to finish... from writing down everything, note for not, for every instrument, to then recording it all, and finally mixing and mastering. I do it all by myself. And I absolutely love it. It's like I'm building entire worlds, from scratch. It's insanely rewarding and fulfilling. Been doing it for most of my life and will continue doing it till the end. But goddamnit do I get sick of my own music... I mean, until the song is actually finished, I must have listened to it at least a thousand times. I focused on every single little detail. I know the song better than I know myself. So yeah... By the end of the process, I usually cannot stand hearing that goddamn song anymore. I just wanna forget about it. Releasing and moving on to a new song is the right thing to do, I suppose. And that's all cool, but what I noticed is that me being fed up with hearing my own music affects the way I see myself as an artist. It affects my opinion of my music. I don't want to think it's trash, or better yet, hear it as trash - because I heard it so many fucking times already lol. I don't want to develop some sort of a love-hate, toxic relationship with music. I know I'm not the first or the only one facing this issue. Anyone here figured out a way to cope with this? (I should mention that I am a single point focus guy lol. I cannot really work on several songs at once. I sit down and give my all to one song till it's done. It's just how I roll)

Yes. If you are flowing and you build up a nice momentum, it's going to feel like you are meditating while acting or doing. Which is, of course, illusory. There is no real doing or acting. You are already and always in a meditative state. But let's say there are levels, degrees, or frequencies where this is much more obvious. If you indulge in something that you really enjoy and love, the work you put into it will not feel like work at all. You will lose track of time, etc. On some point, you will inevitably enter that flow, that meditative state.

Personal: Sudden, unexpected death, betrayal, humiliation, torture, watching my loved ones being raped and murdered, finding the love of my life and then tragically losing it, failing my life's mission, loosing a finger, or an arm, or being prevented from playing guitar and making music in any way, losing myself and harming someone, accidentally running over a cyclist or a child, ending up in prison, etc. Trans-personal: Being forever frozen in infinite nothingness, forever becoming nonexistence, forever being caught in-between the gory walls of a paradox, doing and undoing simultaneously, being caught in an endless loop of constantly dying, feeling the pain of the universe separating itself, etc. It's not about not having fears. It's about having balls. -
Great stuff guys. Thank you all. I think this issue arises towards the final stages of the mixing/mastering process. That's where I listen to bars on loop, trying to hear the song from all possible angles, different devices, etc. I simply hear it too many times. And yes, I definitely push myself too much and step over the line often. My ears start hurting, I don't know what I'm hearing anymore, etc. I do take breaks and walk away more often nowadays, but I'd say I still get overwhelmed/burnt out. I'm pretty sure I'll be handing over that part of the job to someone else, soon. I could then focus on writing and recording only, maybe do a rough mix, and then send it all to an audio engineer to really bring it to life. Don't get me wrong, I do love my music and I love going back to my older stuff and hearing it all with new ears - if you will. It's until the song is actually finished that I tend to get sick of it. But yeah, no biggie. Will figure things out slowly. Thanks again everyone.
