It is someone who may or may not have had valid spiritual/mystical experiences/realizations, and consciously chooses to use that wisdom to satisfy and justify their twisted, selfish ways. Which more often than not comes at the expense of other's wellbeing. Exploitation, abuse, manipulation... painted with spiritual colours. That's what it is. A true zen devil, who has attained true realization, is likely just hurting really bad and is extremely confused. It's most likely just a phase. Someone who's faking being a zen devil (lol), meaning that they have not have any kind of true insights or realizations, and are just straigh out abusing the shit out of everything, intentionally, feeding on the pain of others in the name of God... Well, that... that's no zen devil. That's just a slightly more cleaver piece of shit than your average everyday scumbags. If you are really committed and are walking your own path, you will inevitably come across the temptation to be a bit of a zen devil yourself, at one point or another. And you might even fall into that trap and stay there for a while. As said, it can be just a phase. I certainly went through it, to some extent. Still dip my toes in there, every now and then. But I know it's just a part of the process. Just like developing a spiritual ego, that you have to dissolve at some point, if you are real about this 'work'.

'Illusion'. What you are saying does not differ much, or at all from a classic scientific view of consciousness. Which is, of course, limited and false.

If you can say to me, in all seriousness, that you do not think, feel, perceive and that you are not conscious right now... then you are absolutely a dummy or a fool, in my eyes. If you do the work correctly, you will inevitably realize that there is nothing "spiritual" and nothing "woo woo" about any of it. It's very simple, direct and obvious. It is about realizing and then abiding as the true nature. Consciousness. Nothing spiritual or mystical about it. It's just conscious. Yet... it is magical. What you demonstrate in your original post is already a lot. Self - awareness, awareness of your limitations, curiosity, honesty, authenticity, open - mindedness... Those are all very, very important when it comes to "doing the work". Focus on direct experience. Investigate, explore the depths and dimensions of your being. At some point you should arrive to the source of it all.

Here's how you know you're only a step or two from "enlightenment": There is only ever thought, feeling and perception in "direct experience". This becomes crystal clear to you. In actuality, you only ever think, feel or perceive. That's all there is. If you think you eat, shit, piss, fuck, run, walk, sleep, work, etc.... You are sound asleep. Those are, again, just thoughts and feelings. You do not do shit, ever. You are just conscious. Thoughts, feelings, perceptions... None of it is yours. They simply arise within consciousness. A step or two beyond this "state" (which is also an idea) is full-blown enlightenment, or God - realization, or whatever you wanna call it. And what is that? It's pure, direct, undisturbed, uninterrupted consciousness. Which is the same as Being(ness). Everything just is. Everything is being. Nothing arises, nothing comes or goes. There is only pure isness. No form, no thought, no feeling, no sense. Only beingness. Only consciousness. Forget what's said and awaken.

There is no experience in The Absolute. Experience only exists as an alteration/distortion/delusion. There is no relative, in actuality. That's a delusion. There is only Beingness. What you call "relative truth", falls into one of these three categories: thought, feeling, perception. Life, or the game of life, can still be respected and enjoyed. I'm not saying you should stop living. Rather, just see things for what they are, and then whatever. Kind of off topic, but ok. So what? I have studied the "feminine" approach to awakening, probably more than anyone here. The feminine is all about inclusion, unification, forgiveness, compassion, kindness, holding space, nurturing, etc. While the masculine is about overcoming, transcending, deconstructing, etc. Mind and Heart. The two do not negate each-other. In fact, it could be said that there is a third aspect, which is the child. All three in one being. But again, this is not the Absolute. This is only relevant while walking the path. It shouldn't be an experience at all. I made that very clear and obvious in my original post, if you were to read more carefully.

I'd not recommend texting during daytime in the early stages. Try to build a habit of texting right before bedtime or something like that. That's when you're going to catch more of her attention. Avoid texting before she's going out or while she's at a party, etc. Unless she shows strong interest and maybe is looking to bail the scene or secure a guy after the party has ended. I guess it all depends on what your intentions are. Try not to do all the work. If she's texting back like she's bored to death and couldn't be less interested in you, then the last thing you should do is bombard her with compliments and cheesy paragraphs. There has to be a pretty much even exchange of words. Tune into the vibe. Know when to take the convo deeper, when to make it sexier, when to make it funny or serious, etc. Try not to "play" her too much. It can be super annoying. Show her that you are a genuine, sane, interesting guy who is not afraid to make his intentions clear.

It's being conscious enough and knowing how to handle any emotion that arises, instead of being sucked into the heat of the moment and making a mess. It is not the absence of difficult emotions. It's impossible. So might as well start practicing 100% conscious honesty with God. This will of course include lots of nastiness too. Don't worry, God understands. Just earlier, I was feeling so shit and I was so fucking pissed, that I flipped off the sky. And it felt great. I could almost hear God laughing. God loves you. You are fucked up because you were designed to be that way. You are a perfect, unique, beautiful pile of shit. Embrace it. You cannot not have a relationship with God, as long as wanna live life and play this lovely, messed up game. When you talk to a random stranger on the street: you're talking to God. When you're talking to your friend, your boss, your mother, your child... You get the point. All God. With or without you being aware of it. Absolute duality?
