  1. @Rigel You clearly are not dumb enough to understand
  2. Well yes, I am, in this thread and others similar to it. But I don't generally deny the "human experience" or anything within it. I'm also ok with perceiving dualistically, identifying, standing for certain values and beliefs... All of it. BUT it is important to see thing for what they are. You believe in unicorns or alien squirrels? Good. Just be conscious that those are beliefs. That's my point. In actuality, there is no notion of duality, nor oneness. Yet oneness is all there is. Like a movie that's watching itself. It's happening nowhere. On no screen. And there is no movie either... But yeah.
  3. @Atb210201 There is no change if there is no perceiver perceiving the change. In other words, change only exists because "you" are there to see it (hallucinate it). It requires a "you" character, it requires perception or senses and it requires an object that you're perceiving or experiencing, in this case "change". Which is way more than two... Hardcore duality lol. Being, consciousness, the absolute... can hallucinate an experience of change, but it's not actual. Not real. It's a dream. That's kind of the whole point.
  4. @Yimpa You bet! Appreciate your interest
  5. Can something that has a boundary, a limit, be infinite?
  6. Ahh, yes, I forget... Hyper conscious alien squirrels! That's what we're after! "Enlightenment" is so 2016... Not a fancy enough word anymore.
  7. It implies duality, which means it cannot ever truly be infinite. But I suppose it can seem as if it's sticking around for a very long while.
  8. @Francis777 I'm not saying it's a facet (although it can certainly be seen that way too) rather, I'm saying that I'm just using the word 'light' to point towards consciousness as the Absolute. It has a biblical vibe to it, I like how it sounds. If you wish to deepen your understanding on consciousness from that perspective though, look into densities of light. Not in classic scientific terms (although that can be useful too), rather from a spiritual point of view. Bashar, Abraham and others speak of densities a little bit. I overdosed once one a variety of different psychedelics and had the most terrifying experiences in existence, during which all layers of reality were peeled off one by one, revealing the truth of being. That was a huge game - changer. But my insights and realizations accumulated over the years from all kinds of different angles. At least that's what the story says.
  9. @Francis777 Light is just another cool label for consciousness. And yes, it has no opposite. You might think that the unconscious is the opposite of consciousness, the same way that the dark is the opposite of light. But there are no such things, in actuality. There is no unconsciousness. No dark. That's just imagination.
  10. @Razard86 And that's where you are just straight out wrong. As wrong as you can be. If you see a rock, which requires you to perceive a "thing", an "object", or "form".... that's duality. There are no fucking rocks in the absolute. No one has ever seen or felt or experienced a rock in any way. That's just a dream. If you awaken, there will be no rocks and no you to see them. Only pure being. Pure isness. Pure consciousness. Devoid of fragmentation. Free from any name.
  11. @Razard86 STOP YELLING AT MEEE!!! You are clearly confusing relative and absolute truth. You see a rock you think it's absolute. Lol no. That which is masquerading as a rock is absolute. The appearance or experience of a rock is not. It's limited and finite. Again... and please read carefully this time, I'm keeping it short and sweet: Change, states, levels, degrees, dimensions... IS RELATIVE (illusory) Unchanged, being, oneness, wholeness, motionless, light, consciousness... IS ABSOLUTE ONE. NOT FUCKING TWO. CHANGE, STATES, LEVES: TWO (or more) CONSCIOUSNESS: ONLY ONE
  12. I smell science again... Falsehood! Blasphemy!
  13. The impulse to create is in each and every one of us. It's our nature. We are creators (the creator) by definition. You cannot not create. Even if you're sitting on your couch, doing nothing, you're still creating everything around you. But speaking in a more down to earth manner, developing a skill that will allow you to channel and focus that creative energy is definitely worthwhile. I've been committed to making music since I was a kid, and honestly, I cannot imagine life without it. There's just nothing else for me to do. It is more than just a purpose. It is my personal meaning of life. I also went through numerous phases of stagnation. Sometimes I was uninspired, unmotivated and nothing good came through. Other times life got in the way and straight up took away the opportunity for me to make music. But... I always found my way back to it. Just now, for example, I am about to release my first proper peace of work after 3-4 years of not being able to put together anything substantial. I am happy, grateful and fulfilled beyond words, and nobody has even heard my new music yet. It's just so rewarding and beautiful. Find your muse and completely lose yourself in it. It's a wild, fun, scary and absolutely amazing ride. Good luck.
  14. Wow, look, a thread that @Razard86 made that I actually like and agree with
  15. Real men listen to metal. They are not afraid to express their feelings. In fact, they are quite articulate about it. But also, they are tough as fuck and nothing can stand in their way. Real men are gentle, loving and respectful beings, who are also capable of absolutely demolishing you. Physically, verbally, spiritually, or however else. But most importantly, they listen to metal.
  16. Wouldn't call it a meditation perse, but it is certainly a big yes.
  17. @Razard86 I'm not saying change does not exist, I'm saying consciousness (as absolute) does not change. There are no states, levels, degrees, dimensions, planes... none of that. Only pure isness. Pure consciousness. Change is illusory, indeed. It requires time, and that's self explanatory. You guys are too high on your fairytales. It's really not that complicated. It's incredibly simple, in fact. Once you 'open your eyes'. And yes, I am close-minded. For bullshit, that is.
  18. @Butters What do you mean how do I know? I just know Truth when I see it. @UnbornTao put it more or less perfectly. I just emphasized it. Thoughts are useful, and so is the exchange of information. But a thought can never be the (entire) Truth.
  19. It is someone who may or may not have had valid spiritual/mystical experiences/realizations, and consciously chooses to use that wisdom to satisfy and justify their twisted, selfish ways. Which more often than not comes at the expense of other's wellbeing. Exploitation, abuse, manipulation... painted with spiritual colours. That's what it is. A true zen devil, who has attained true realization, is likely just hurting really bad and is extremely confused. It's most likely just a phase. Someone who's faking being a zen devil (lol), meaning that they have not have any kind of true insights or realizations, and are just straigh out abusing the shit out of everything, intentionally, feeding on the pain of others in the name of God... Well, that... that's no zen devil. That's just a slightly more cleaver piece of shit than your average everyday scumbags. If you are really committed and are walking your own path, you will inevitably come across the temptation to be a bit of a zen devil yourself, at one point or another. And you might even fall into that trap and stay there for a while. As said, it can be just a phase. I certainly went through it, to some extent. Still dip my toes in there, every now and then. But I know it's just a part of the process. Just like developing a spiritual ego, that you have to dissolve at some point, if you are real about this 'work'.
  20. Truth has been spoken. Others, please stop rambling your nonsense, mkay? Thanks.
  21. 'States of consciousness' do not actually exist. Consciousness is forever whole and unchanged. What changes is that which arises in consciousness. Which is of course, ultimately, mist. Nothing. 'Illusion'. What you are saying does not differ much, or at all from a classic scientific view of consciousness. Which is, of course, limited and false.
  22. Indeed. Except for our lord and saviour Leo, of course.
  23. @Yimpa It seems like you're trying to expose something, but I don't see it.
  24. If you can say to me, in all seriousness, that you do not think, feel, perceive and that you are not conscious right now... then you are absolutely a dummy or a fool, in my eyes. In fact, you are worse. Not just dumb but also in denial about it. Which is how it usually works. Other hot words to use in similar scenarios: sleepwalkers (my favorite), muggles, normies, sheep, NPCs, bots or just simply idiots. What? You think God is not capable of masquerading as a complete idiot and making your life harder? God loves that shit. And when you think you are most enlightened, that's when most idiots will come your way to test you. In an infinite universe, fools have their place. We all are fools, from one point of view or another. Compassion has its place too, certainly. And so does some good old fashioned ass whooping. Physical, verbal or spiritual. It all has its place. And none of it makes you less of divine being that you already are. Fools.
