  1. If I was you, I wouldn't consider much more than sex. Could be a good fuck buddy material, but the fact that you're working together is not too great either. Chances are you both gonna regret it. Be careful.
  2. Yes, it's nice to see through thought. To see its limitations and its effect. However, I'd say that the idea is not to be thoughtless at all times, but rather to think well. Creative thoughts are great, for example. Words of affirmation, gratitude, respect and love, too. Still just thoughts and not the absolute truth, but definitely much closer to it. Much lighter, much more enjoyable, much less in anyone's way. In fact, acting on "high vibe thoughts" can lead one all the way, for sure.
  3. So... You caught a few glimpses, had a realization or two, did some psychedelics, some meditation... and now you're awake, right? Now you're going around telling people how it's all One and they're all stuck in their ego, right? If that's you, great. I'm here to let you know just how deluded and far away from being awake you are. You only traded your old, materialistic ego for a new, sparkling spiritual ego, in an attempt to reach enlightenment. Innocent but wrong. If you're doing the work correctly, this is unavoidable. You will most certainly develop a spiritual ego at some point. And if you're intelligent enough, you will soon realize that it's just as flawed, limited and nasty, as any other ego, if not more. You will realize that it must be annihilated. If you want to truly awaken, that is. If you're wearing baggy hippy clothes, have crystals all over your apartment, dream catchers and sacred geometry on your walls... it might be too late for you. You created an identity too strong around this whole spiritual biz, and it's going to be extremely difficult for you to see past that and transcend it. It might seem to you as if you're being tricked back into your materialistic ego. As if you're falling from grace. Losing your enlightenment lol. You most certainly will resist the process. But it must be done. If you want to awaken, spiritual ego is in your way, to say the least. It is also, in my opinion, incredibly annoying and goofy too. To know a lot of things about enlightenment and create an identity around it is not what being awake is. A truly awakened being could give you no signs at all. They would not speak your everyday spiritual language. Nothing about them would seem spiritual at all. Yet they would be as awake as it gets.
  4. I would not say it's a state. It is exactly the absence of any kind of a state. It is the unthinkable. The untouchable. The unseen. The undone. Absolute, infinite consciousness. Now.
  5. Low body fat and genetics I guess. Jk I obviously designed it that way because I like it. Infinite will and such. You could put it that way, yes. Yes, I sense you are also fighting your spiritual ego, as I am fighting mine lol. Hence all the nasty feelings about it. It's cool. It's understandable. But it's not where you wanna stay at either. It's a sign that we are not cool with things just yet. We have a battle going on. Ideally, spiritual hippy dippy folks would not annoy the fuck out of us. We would recognize and accept the stage they're at, effortlessly. There would be no tension. Not much to add to this other than that I like it. Thank you.
  6. @_Archangel_ I always enjoy reading your thoughts. Thank you.
  7. Here's a fun one: There are no enlightened or awakened people... but there are people who truly know enlightenment and awakening.
  8. Absolutely. But for the sake of this collective dream, this hallucination... it is important to know your relativity too.
  9. It's really the same mechanism. A coping mechanism. Both the materialistic ego and the spiritual ego are working extremely hard to preserve themselves. They are both, essentially, disconnected from reality. From actuality. They both live in lalaland. It's just that one likes money, cars and hookers and the other one likes crystals, dream catchers and sacred geometry. Roughly put, but you get the point. So what would be a healthy ego? What would be a healthy individual? A healthy persona? A healthy being? It is, in my view, an individual that is connected to reality. Connected to their true nature. They know their place. They do not try to metaphysically outfuck themselves or others all the time. They are ok with being what they are, where they are, when they are. And if they are not... that's ok too. It's allowed. It's accepted. It's welcome. A healthy individual is aware of their own limitation. They know where they begin and where they end. They understand that extremely clearly. They have nothing to prove. No one needs to know they're awake, no one needs to know about their spiritual journey. But also, no one needs to be awaken. No one needs their assistance to awaken. They understand their role and they are 100% committed to it. They simply let themselves and everything else be. And all of that is not coming from a place of ignorance, of course. It's coming directly from Source. From infinite intelligence. It's also coming from years and years of experiences, insights, realizations, purifications, shadow work, inner child work, dark nights and what have you. All of that is real and valid at some point. And if properly realized, all of that is perfectly integrated. It's all there. It's all doing its magic. It's just that it's not desperately trying to impress anybody, scream for attention, beg for affection, recognition or anything similar. It is quite literally barely noticable. Transparent. It is a form of intelligence that is simply not percievable by most. It takes one to see one. Many... cannot see, comprehend or understand (the) one. What I'm saying is... that there are folks out there who are enlightened AF, and you could never guess. And there are also fools dressed up as saints, sitting in perfect lotus position, using all the perfect spiritual words... and you know they're full of shit. They are nowhere near being awake. It's obvious, if it is.
  10. He is talking to the consciousness inside you, not you as in your identity. - That's another way to look at it. You just have to see past this at some point. Nothing anyone says to you can be absolutely right or wrong. It's just thoughts, that's all it really is. Believing that you are God is nowhere near the same as abiding in God - consciousness. One is real, direct truth. The other is delusion, ego trip, or even mental illness.
  11. Because they are having their own subjective experiences, they have different beliefs, different conditionings, etc. And because of all that, a different path and approach is relevant to them. If you ask me, they are wrong. Such is relating. There is no only one perspective. That there is a perspective at all, is still delusion. Still a dream.
  12. @Actualizer777 And that is why I keep repeating that this whole solipsism nonsense is dangerous and is more harmful than helpful. It is not the way to go about this and it is certainly not "the absolute truth". If there is A viewpoint... Then there are many other viewpoints too, yes. Everyone exists and they're having their own subjective experiences. But what's at the base or at the root of it all, the source of it all... is Consciousness. And it is only one. It is not YOURS or MINE or LEOS... it is just fucking consciousness, conscious of itself and nothing other than itself, forever and ever.
  13. @Actualizer777 It is unnecessary to pressure yourself with thoughts such as "it is all in MY mind, it's all just me" etc. That can do more harm than good. That it is happening within YOUR mind is just GODs imagination too. It's not more or less true than saying that it is happening in a chimp's mind, or your mom's mind, or perhaps a rock is imagining it all. Just connect to the obviousness of it, right now. There is consciousness, right now, right here. It hasn't been gone, ever, and it's not going anywhere. There is consciousness, right now. That's all. Anything else than direct awareness of that, is just ideas, beliefs, opinions, viewpoints, etc. "Mine" included.
  14. @Actualizer777 Yes, there is only one consciousness, but not only one identity. Those are many.
  15. There are no conscious or unconscious people. There is only consciousness and thoughts that arise within it - saying that there are conscious or unconscious people.
  16. Why indeed. There are no people, only God. Pain and suffering exist because they can. If they could not, Infinity would not be infinite, but limited. Even if there was literally everything but pain and suffering in existence... that would still be a limitation. Why indeed. You don't have to ask anyone else. Just yourself. From God's point of view, there cannot be imperfection. Pain and suffering are part of the big picture. Perfect puzzle pieces. It's just that one does not tend to be as conscious and intelligent as God to see things that way.
  17. If thoughts are too loud and messy, there is usually an intense emotion underneath. An emotion that is either not being acknowledged, or is being resisted. Thoughts are not the problem. Usually it really just comes down to gathering some courage and facing how we really feel. Once the emotion is through, because it must be through... there is usually clarity, space, peace. The mind gets real quite and steady. Because now nothing is trying desperately to grab it's attention. No emotional weight.
  18. To think that the character is supposed to awaken, or can awaken at all, is a deep, deep misunderstanding. A character that thinks they're awake... is not, obviously. A character that thinks some other character is awake, because of what they know or say about awakening... is hallucinating, obviously. There are no awakened characters. No awakened Leos, no awakened Oshos, no awakened Sadhgurus, Ramanas or what have you. No awakened I, no awakened you, no awakened them. Only awakened awareness. Only direct, awakened consciousness. And it is anything but limited to an individual or a character. Awakened consciousness is anything but contained, captured or hosted by the character, or anything else. Please realize those are all just limiting beliefs and ideas. If there is an awakened awareness... An awareness aware of itself, and nothing other than itself, directly, right now... Then there literally cannot be anything other but that awakened awareness. No characters, no gurus, no channels, no bubbles. Only consciousness. The character never awakens. Stop expecting that to happen. That there is a character is part of the dream. To awaken, is to dream no longer.
  19. Yes, I like what you said, it felt good and truthful, but I also disagree a bit. Similarly, I see danger in over - complication, such as dimensions, planes, states, etc. I know just how easy it is to get lost in fantasyland by believing in such and similar things. What's simple, extremely simple, downright effortless... is pure, direct awareness. It requires zero effort from anyone or anything. It is already and always aware. It's not that there cannot be any dimensions, planes, states or whatever else. I imagine that's completely possible. It's that it's super easy to get high on these ideas and go down a road that leads one further away from self realization.
  20. On the topic of free will vs. determinism... conditioning vs. freedom, choice or no choice... I will share a piece of conversation between Devin and Steve, that I already shared in another thread yesterday... but I think it fits in here real nice as well. Sort of like a cherry on the top of the cake. It is an important "puzze - piece". S: "Nobody can act outside of their conditioning at any given time of their life..." D: "Ok, but how is there a choice then? If you can't act outside of your conditioning, how can you make a choice to act in a different way?" S: "No matter where you're at, and no matter where you've evolved to... You're there. The actions that you take and the thoughts that you think are reflective of where you are at any given time. You are not able to make the choice to change the way you act and think until you realize that you have that choice." D: "So the realization is a separate mechanism?" S: "The realization is the recognition that you're already doing it now... You are creating your reality, at any given moment."
  21. Note to self: If you feel good... you want to be present. If you feel bad...you want to hide, disconnect, shut down. To feel bad simply means... "further away from presence" To feel good simply means... "getting closer to presence" It is possible to feel very, very bad... and still be very, very present. Yes. It is also possible to feel very good, and not be all that present. Yes. One is a super-state that transcends duality. The other is falsehood. Here is the true importance of feeling: It's not that there actually are two or more separate good or bad feelings. It is all just one feeling. Telling you only one thing: how close or far away, how "aligned or misaligned" you are with "the present moment". Thought's are projected onto feelings. Feelings make thoughts seem real. "I" is a thought. but "I" is also a feeling. The literal sense of self, the feeling of "I" is located in the abdominal area of your body. If that feeling goes away... you lose your sense of self. You cannot tell where you begin, where you end, where you are, what you are, what anything is... nothing. It completely fucks up the entire system. It fucks up... "you". Beliefs... are thoughts backed up with A LOT of feeling. That's what "the brickwall" that you cannot seem to be able to move past is. Remember... Thought. Feeling. Perception. That's all there is and can ever be in "direct experience". That's quite literally "the mechanics of the self". "The character". To either transcend or annihilate this "mechanism" called "direct experience"... is to awaken.
  22. Here's an even more mind - blowing realization, if properly soaked in..: Not only that the character never awakens and consciousness does... but even more precisely; consciousness is always and already, forever and ever, infinitely conscious (of itself). The degree to which the character is willing to let go and surrender (to light, to consciousness, to here and now) to that exact degree light shines through. There seems to be 'more consciousness', 'more light'. Which is, obviously just a trick. There absolutely cannot, never ever ever, be more or less consciousness. That's fantasy. Consciousness is always and forever whole, flawless, omnipresent, omnipotent, undisturbed, untouchable, unfuckable. Right now, right here. 'The character' is just a portion of consciousness that does not remember it is consciousness. And that is not an accident, of course. It is 'by design'.
  23. Hm... I wouldn't say that's the case in actuality. But seemingly, yes, anything can be
  24. Simply by thinking (right now). And yes, a thought is consciousness too, ultimately. But once that duality collapses, there is no more thinking, no memories, etc. Only direct infinite consciousness. Interesting question indeed. Independently from its creator... no. I'd argue that it cannot. I'd also say that a thought form never actually evolves. It's just one thought replaced by another seemingly more advanced thought.
