That's just another illusion. Another fairytale. Another story. Which is funny, because spiritual folks love seeing themselves as more conscious than others, talking about how they're continuously becoming more and more conscious, reaching way beyond enlightenment level 9000, etc. Which is clearly bs. Everyone knows that enlightenment beyond level 9000 is just not possible. Point is, it's yet another mindfuck, that's all it is. There is no truth in it. Even though, admittedly, at some point it really does seem like it's true. Like you became more conscious lol. I can say with 100% confidence that most spiritual folks are confusing their senses, their thoughts and their feelings for consciousness. I am absolutely sure that most of you think that seeing or hearing is what consciousness is. And that's where you all get tricked and trapped. If seeing or hearing is consciousness... then what is conscious of seeing or hearing? Consciousness comes prior to it all. Prior to all of your 5 human senses, that you think are God lol. Prior to thought, prior to feeling. Consciousness holds space for all thoughts, feelings and senses - if you will. There absolutely cannot be more or less consciousness, or anything else for that matter. Everything already is, as it is. There can be less emotional baggage and mental clutter, and that can make it seem as if senses are sharper and as if there is more consciousness... but that's just a trick, again. Just 'content' appearing within consciousness, and not even. Consciousness remains the same, at all times. Infinite, omnipresent, omnipotent. So omnipotent, in fact, that it can trick itself into believing that there is any more or less of it.

Consciousness is the only 'thing' that's real within and beyond the dream. There is nothing outside of it, nothing other than it.

It's really simple. There is already and always infinite consciousness, right now, at all times, forever. What is limited and illusory, born out of that very same consciousness - of course - is thought, feeling and your 5 human senses. Those change. That which is conscious of it all, is absolute and does not change. Does not increase or decrease or anything like that. Again, that's only true relatively, from a limited point of view. It's not 'Absolute Truth'. Absolutely, infinite consciousness is all there is and there cannot be more or less of it, by definition. It can only fool or trick itself into believing that there can be more or less of it, or that there can be anything other than it.

Well no, if we are talking about God as The Absolute, that cannot be an appearance. So that's not what I'm saying. This is all true only from a limited point of view. Relatively. Not absolutely.

There can be, I am not arguing that. But whatever there is to be perceived by the 5 human senses and/or beyond those... is ultimately just appearance.

We have more than that, if we wanna play human. We have our 5 senses, we have a thought and a feeling. All of that appears within consciousness, comprende? In 'your direct experience' right now, and at all other times... there is only ever thought, feeling and the 5 senses. Consciousness... is that which is conscious of it all.

Can there be more or less of Infinity? No. It's just a trick. Just an effect. You don't become more conscious, ever. I know you'd really, really like that to be the case, but it's just not. Consciousness is simply conscious, infinitely so, at all times. All your states, perceptions, feelings and fairytales occur as appearance within consciousness. Seemingly something other than it, but not really. If you want to understand that deeper, study appearances. Confusing (drug induced) states and fancy enlightenment beliefs for actual, direct consciousness right now, is where ya'all problem is.

You do those to make less ego, not more consciousness.

You're talking about states. Getting drunk is a state. Getting high on psychedelics is a state. States change. Activity and appearances change. That there can be more or less of. Not consciousness. Consciousness is always the same amount lol. Infinite amount.

@Sugarcoat Very cool! @Davino It can seem like I'm trying to isolate or separate consciousness from appearance, yes, and that's more for the sake of the post. To really point out or towards the source. It is all one thing, ultimately. All consciousness. But at some point it's important to be able to make certain distinctions. Like telling a feeling apart from a thought, perception apart from pure awareness. @Ishanga I hear you, and thanks. You obviously chose a different path and use a slightly different language to describe things, but I figure we agree on things that matter. 'State of consciousness' is something I tend to dismiss, because, again, that is the content, the appearance or the activity within consciousness. Which is, ultimately, if bought into, still just delusion, bluntly put. State of consciousness, in 'my book' = a cocktail of thoughts, feelings and senses It might be a fresh, new cocktail. One that we're not used to from before. Hence we think it's a completely new thing. But it's really just a different flavour.

Most people are not even capable of appreciating real art. You must be at least somewhat close to authenticity in order to value authentic art. Which most people are not. That's why they gravitate towards garbage. It never stops blowing my mind. Most people are not worthy of ever coming across a gem, a true piece of art such as this, in this fake - ass world... But here you go. I guess it's because I love you and I still have some faith in humanity lol. Gold

Boring, uninspired, meaningless, lifeless, motionless, tells no interesting story, does not provoke any thoughts or feelings, does not stand out in any way kind of art. I like what you said, but still, there is bad art. All around you. In fact, the majority of what we call 'art' is bad. Only a very few rare gems stand out. As an artist, you need skill, yes, but you also need much more than just that. A true artist is awake as fuck. And that's not an accident.

Deliberately so. It's always for me, first and foremost. And then for anyone else who sees it fit. I am always criticising myself first, in all of my posts. When I point towards and call out 'you'... I am really calling out myself. Fair enough. Again, not meant to resonate with everyone. I do not necessarily disagree with what you're saying... I just know I dug myself out of a deep and dark enough hole, without relying on any external 'fixes', so I can stand behind what I'm saying here. What I had to do, is gather all my courage and willpower, and walk through the fire that was burning in me. It had nothing to do with anything or anyone else but me and my willingness to heal. So yes, very bluntly put: balls. And obviously so much more than just that, but you seem to overlook it. All the best to you.

Yes, also, but making art is not exactly like German auto engineering. It's not something you can calculate and brute force, and have amazing results. It requires unspeakable commitment and dedication. Patience. Sacrifice. Knowing when it's not time and when it is time to create. And so on. That's where the real pain is, I'd say. Because it's not something you can achieve just by consistent hard work. This knowing is not easy to bear for the artist. Sure, the hard work aspect is still there... but true art... that requires far more than just hard work. Not just blood, sweat and tears... but also some magic. I personally know quite a few artists, who are very consistently making art... that is bad.

This got me thinking a bit... And yes... yes there is. It's Will. Infinite Will, in fact, that everyone has access to, at all times. Just not before they realize they do.
