@mmKay I hear you, and it's a nice idea, but the reality is that 99.99% of people don't go to clubs for personal development purposes. They go out precisely for the opposite reason. To distract themselves from ever doing any introspection or work on themselves. Clubs are just nasty. If you're not all numbed out already, and you can tune into the collective vibe of the place... it will make you wanna throw up, without consuming any alcohol. Yes, you might bump into someone genuine and cool too, but highly unlikely.

That's why they all have to get shitfaced every weekend, yes. Because they have great social skills.

Obviously, I am. Not necessarily onto you, just out there. Plenty of people think what I like sucks ass too. It's not necessarily an age thing. In fact, it's not, at all. Also; rather judge from an authentic place, then pretend to be judgment - free, or judgement - immune.

Fuck no. I avoid hippies by all means necessary. I think going out with the intention to hit on chicks is lame. That's exactly the kind of people I don't want to party with. If anything... jazz/rock concerts are my thing. But almost exclusively because of the music. Because I really want to experience the band playing live. Could not care less about drunk, drugged and stinky people around, trying to get lucky, acting like clowns.

Duh. I'd have to be incredibly stupid to think that everyone should like music like that. Try to see the jokey joke in my writings lol. Sure. Rarely anyone can digest, let alone enjoy stuff like that. But those who claim to be enlightened AF should be able to see past the horror and recognize the sheer talent and balls it takes to create something like that. Of course.

How are you guys planning on accepting all the nastiness that you ultimately are, if you cannot even enjoy a little bit of heavy music with some dark lyrics? Lyrics that spread awareness about the twisted shit that's actually going on in the world on a daily basis. One would say it comes down to taste... I'd say it comes down to fear and resistance.
