In my experience it is very simple. No need to complicate things. For there to be a You, there must be limitations. God has none. Only when there is no God and no notion of it; God is. Therefore You cannot be God. You can only be You. God can only be God. This does not imply separation. Title of this thread is tricky but very simple and accurate. So simple; the truth of it can easily be overlooked and unrecognized. Unseen. It can also trigger the crap out of YOU; who desperately wants to believe and prove that You, in fact, are God. It's rather funny Truth requires no belief. Breath in, breathe out. Do you have to believe anything in order to breathe? -

@SoonHei Very nice. At the end of the day though, you'd bite into an apple. Not the tree. It is important to see things as they are. Even if they are the same in their essence. I am not implying separation between the apple and the tree. Nor am I denying the seed. I am simply pointing out the obvious. Which is, as you put it; An apple is apple. A tree is tree. -

Nice. No realization will set us free. Something that's helpful and beneficial today, might be useless and irrelevant tomorrow. What we realize we inevitably must let go of. The Universe is infinitely creative. One can easily fall into an endless loop of waking up from one realization only to fall asleep to another. Forever chasing the next "highest insight". The truest truth of them all. And that can be painful. It starts out all cool and fun, but eventually it turns into hell. Truth is not hiding. Truth is obvious and simple. We only must know where to look ? On a side-note...I feel like I should make this clear to prevent any confusion for those reading; This is all just me expressing, documenting and sharing my own process of evolution. I am not trying to declare Truth or change anyone's mind. I simply enjoy posting here and reading other people's thoughts and views. That's all. -

Two are One but not the same. Lots of theory. Not enough experience. In order to understand truly, one must live fully. Sad then that so many are avoiding Life; believing it's an illusion. There is no illusion. Everything is exactly as it is. No one is being tricked. -

And that can be tremendously misleading. ? -

@fi1ghtclub Pure consciousness does not negate individuality. The formless does not negate the form. Things are just as much real as they are not. -

@Inliytened1 And no notion of God. That is why there is no such thing as "I am God" -

In a sense, yes. If there is illusion, God is illusion. No difference between illusion and real. No difference between God and no God. My original post is not negating God though. It is not negating you or me. Or Oneness. It's just putting things in their place. Instead of mixing them all up randomly. I am I. You are You. God is God. That's actuality. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 Nope. The chair is not the table. One can argue there's no chair and no table. One can argue both are made out of the same substance. But if there is a chair, it is certainly not the table. Nowhere to go; everywhere to go. Within stillness I move. There is no actual difference between duality and nonduality. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura You overlook what's actually being said. It's simple. A chair is not the table. The separation is imaginary, yes. But you still sit on your chair. Not the table. Realizing that everything is God is half-baked awakening. This is a round trip. -

@Nak Khid Yes. The individual is a vessel. A conductor. -
No matter how hard you try; the individual cannot be abandoned. You are not here to escape individuality in the name of Divinity. You are here to embody the Divine by embracing your humanity. All is One and One is all. All is God. And life can suck sometimes. There is nothing "un-spiritual" about feeling that way. In fact; one of the most nobel things you can do is to actually have a bad day. Or a month. Or a year. Full immersion. Being with yourself through each and every moment of it. Not trying to hover above life just because you had a realization or two. Or because you heard somewhere that "it's all an illusion". That's half-assignment. Escapism. Denial. The biggest confusion stems from the idea, that you must get rid of something. That you are somehow less than the Divine until you do this or that. Erase the anomaly. Delete the error. Call it ego, the devil or whatever... Either way, it's pure nonsense. There are no mistakes in Creation. Everything is meant to be exactly as it is. Nothing can ever be erased. Nothing can ever be denied or avoided. One can only delude themselves into believing so. The Universe is so loving it allows you to choose even that. It lets you push as far as you can. As deep into the cold as you wish. All until you remember what this is all about. Until you remember you came here to guide, instead of escape or deny. You are pure consciousness. The light of Divinity. Pure perfection. As whole as you can be. You are not the one who's going through this. You are not the one on the spiritual journey. You are not going through an awakening. The individual is. The body is. The nervous system. The ego. Which, of course, is also you. Divine perfection. It's just the aspect of you that is still in its dormant phase of incubation. Still asleep to its magnificence. Still waiting to be acknowledged, respected, honoured and loved unconditionally. And it will wait forever. It will grow bigger and scream louder. All for you to notice it and truly step into your role as a loving, compassionate guide. As the light that you are. The perfection that you are. The Infinite One that you are. When consciousness awakens to itself it can seem as if it is being tricked back into sleep. Into Maya. Into illusion. Into the limitations of the individual self. So it resists the karmic return, thinking it signifies fall from grace. From heaven. When in fact it is only an invitation to be the guide, nurturer and caretaker of the individual. To escort it back into the light. Instead of hovering above it and dragging it around like a heavy burden. That is True Divine orchestration. The full circle. Mastery. Do not turn your back on yourself. Co-operation between the ego and the soul is the most beautiful, fulfilling experience. Show love to the individual. You'd be surprised how quickly the ego can get on board and surrender to the light. All it needs is your loving attention and care, as well as your permission to take the time it requires to heal and catch up with you; the light of Divinity. Game on.

@TrynaBeTurquoise Abstract expression? Creativity? I am but a drop in this cosmic sea. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TrynaBeTurquoise Gotcha. Just pointing out that its not a very suitable metaphor, because, limitations. You are not separate from me. But you are not me. You are not separate from God. But you are not God. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TrynaBeTurquoise Yes. No separation. Only proper recognition. A hand has its limitations though. God does not. Big difference. @zeroISinfinity Love is flowing through. -
ivankiss replied to Truth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, it is possible. As vividly as you see your hand now. However, in my experience, it is unimaginably overwhelming. I am much rather conscious of the very moment in front of me, only. One at a time. Instead of "remembering" all at once. -

@Aeris Because I am. Are you? @remember The dance is eternal, indeed. @Shaun ? ? -

@modmyth Hmm. As an artist, I find things that "require" some sort of resolution more interesting and beautiful. Deeper. More moving. I like when there is a certain amount of tension that seeks to be unravelled. A voice yearning to be heard. Something that wishes to find its way back home. Find light. Peace. Musically speaking, it makes the piece so much richer. When the moment of release and triumph finally comes; it is far more blissful, meaningful and magnificent. Doesn't mean joy and happiness are not as profound. It's just that in my view; if there is something that brings contrast, be it musical or real life - light shines that much brighter. I absolutely love music that gives me those "mixed feelings". When I cannot tell if it's sad or happy, dark or bright. It's all of it at once. It's whole. It's beautiful. Here's a good example;

@flume Beautiful. Thank you. Heard about the book, thanks for reminding me. Will give it a read one of these days. To me, relationships are how the Divine meets itself. The two come together as One and celebrate Unity and Love. No matter how the play is orchestrated. No matter how the stage is set. The Universe is dressed up as individuals who have much to learn, heal, share and embrace through each and every interaction. We're all both students and masters. We both learn and teach, simultaneously. It is magical. I definitely hear you on "exercising my masculinity". Been giving that aspect more attention lately. Balancing it with the feminine energy, that seems to be flowing through me rather effortlessly and naturally. I've been a creative, abstract thinker since I know myself. Perhaps that is an explanation. Much love.

@LfcCharlie4 Yup. It is trading, indeed. Forex. I really love it. I cannot believe such an opportunity even exists haha. It really suits my personality. There is no resistance towards trading. Or improving my skills. I enjoy the learning process. It's just that I feel like there is a temporary conflict between it and my biggest passion/purpose (music). Which is, at the end of the day, illusory. I only must balance things in a right manner, that's all. This chapter is supposed to be challenging @Water Thank you brother. It is appreciated. I've been a lone wolf since forever haha. Going after it all by myself ain't nothing new. But I hear you, totally. I too dream of a loving, supportive community. One that encourages individuals, instead of trying to crush their ambitions. Perhaps a day will come when we all wake up to a world like that. @Aeris Thanks, brosif. I hear ya. But here's a thing; Being = music Breathing = music. I do not blink without it being for and because of music. It's simply why I am and who I am. As an individual, and even beyond. It is my very core. Giving up on the dream of "making it big" is not the issue here. Been going through cleansings. There is no desperation, no need. What there is, is unstoppable, infinite passion. That never rests. It yearns to express itself. To be heard and seen. Shared as Gods biggest gift. That's the real "reason" why I do what I do, and will never stop. I could not stop even if I wanted to. There is absolutely no meaning behind it and that's the real beauty of it. It means nothing, but it is everything. The journey itself is a melody. A rhythm. A masterpiece

@Shakazulu Good question. I don't really know. I was definitely under a lot of pressure because of being with her. I had a sense of urgency; like I needed to come up with something fast. But I suppose I would've pursued financial freedom anyways. With or without her. It's just that I'd do it in a more relaxed way. Without all the panic, stess and headache. I would've let it come to me, instead of chasing it. If you know what I mean
