@The observer Indeed. Half-assignment, in my opinion, leads one to even greater delusion than they were in prior to their "awakening". It's a phase. Yet many are convinced it is IT. -

Does wide awake = deeply asleep? -

Interesting point. @Someone here Is there anything beyond your 5 basic human senses? Could they all merge into one sense? If so, what would be "physical" then? -

How so? Hold that phone in your hands. What makes you think it's physical? Because you can feel it and see it? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here What's physical in your direct experience right now? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here In my experience; there is no such thing as "physical", actually. There is consciousness, thought and feeling, only. Everything around me is a thought, regardless of me thinking about in or not. Which implies I'm thinking all the time. Even when it seems like I'm not. Even when the mind is completely silent. "Maya" is a thought. @fi1ghtclub I hear ya. But can one be present without also being absent (on some point) ? How can one know presence without the contrast of absence? If pure white is all there is, could you be able to see it without the contrast of black? Is this contrast imaginary? If so, does that imply It does not exist? -

@Meta-Man What is the difference between the thoughts "in your head" and manifested appearance? Both have no substance. Or are made of the same substance. However you put it. I'm thinking this cup into existence. One way or another. Is ego unconsciousness? Where is it now? @Pookie Careful. You are assuming that I am or am not conscious of certain things. Which is the territory of delusion. I am asking very simple, straight-forward questions. It's easy to jump to conclusions. Why is something "less true" or "less real" than anything? Also; it's not very common, but for some it's actually easier to deny and turn their back on "maya" after they've had a realization or two. It can become just another trick. A way for "the ego" to persevere itself. The challenge then is to fully commit to and embrace life as a whole, even though you can now see through it all. -

May be crazy, but definitely loving -

@Meta-Man In my experience, thoughts are very real. Especially fully manifested thoughts, like this cup before me for example. Once you know yourself as Light, as pure consciousness, nothing is in your way. No good thought, no bad thought. No good feeling, no bad feeling. It's just all seen for what it is. Something interesting happens then. One becomes a deliberate thinker. Would you say that being lost in thoughts is only possible if one identifies as a thought? @zeroISinfinity Read with you heart bro. This is all just funny games. Play-learning is fun! -

@Meta-Man @James123 Would you say thought seizes to be once consciousness shines through? Is thought "in the way"? Is simple consciousness over thoughts the same as pure consciousness or no thought/no mind? -

So we are waking up from thought is what we're doing. Does thought = unconsciousness? Are thoughts conscious? -

Master! Master! Where’s the dreams that I’ve been after? Master! Master! You promised only lies! ? -

Imo, for there to be "pretence" or "disguise", there must be a comparison between two qualities or aspects of something. Duality. How about everything is exactly as it looks and feels right now and it's all self-conscious? That sounds like a simpler truth to me. @bejapuskas I feel you. I'm not negating the significance of our personal experiences. Just clarifying some things to myself. -

@Preetom ...as "no such thing" -

@Someone here I'm asking you as if I was having a conversation with God. -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here How can you know that? Right now, in this very moment, I can only assume that's the case. Sounds very cool tho. -

@Meta-Man Nice. Thanks! -

@Pookie So I am only ever conscious of nothing, in my direct experience? Which is consciousness, right? How can I wake up if I never went to sleep? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Meta-Man If you ain't conscious of being God... That's you not being conscious of something, isn't it? How can there be such thing as "nothing"? Isn't it kinda obvious it's something if you are conscious of it? I'm curious why so many folks say "nothing is the same as everything". How exactly? How come you can compare one to another in the first place, if there is no distinction between the two? If there really is no two - only One? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
How come "there is no such thing as unconsciousness" is true, but "there is no such thing as nothingness" is not? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Meta-Man So one can only be unconscious of something, but never truly and entirely unconscious or "asleep"? -
ivankiss replied to ivankiss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Pookie I see, thanks. So if there fundamentally is no unconsciousness, meaning there can be no duality between consciousness and unconsciousness; how can there be a duality between nothingness and everythingness? How come consciousness does not get devoured by "nothingness"? @The observer I have never experienced unconsciousness. That's just a fact. Did not say I'd have to experience it in order to know it exists. But I would have to be conscious of it. Which makes it consciousness, only. Would you say that consciousness is the same as existence? -
@Someone here Vibration. You feel it, you see it. Reality ain't solid. It's vibrant, alive and conscious. Wouldn't necessarily say there is evidence, but if you really pay close attention...you won't need any @WhatAWondefulWorld I know exactly what you mean

Has anyone here microdosed LSD? I have a tab of approximately 100ug just laying around. Don't feel like full-blown tripping is relevant for me right now, but I do like the idea of taking 10 to 30ug for performance enhancement. I hear low doses like this bring clarity and focus, boost creativity and put you in that sweet flow. How frequently can I microdose without developing too much tolerance? My idea is to take 10ug every day, for the next week or so. Any suggestions?

@WhatAWondefulWorld I hear ya I'm 99.9% sure I, personally, will never try it. But then again; who knows. Perhaps 20 years down the road it becomes relevant for whatever reason. There is something in me that loves crazy, can't deny haha! But I also ain't stupid, lol. Not going anywhere near that thing. Not even touching it with a stick!
