The Pain Of Salvation

It's been lifetimes since I was active on Social Media. Just recently I started posting again on my FB page here and there. Never had an Instagram account. My YouTube channel has been dead for years. Never tweeted a single tweet. So yeah, I've got pretty much nothing going on in that regard. The only platform I'm active on is this forum. And that would be totally fine with me, too. But I wanna reach an audience and gain some following. After a very long pause; I'm slowly but surely getting back to making music; for real. I feel like it would be a pity not to spread it as far as I can. The world needs to hear! ? Any advice/suggestions? How do I start this and build a solid momentum? Should I just keep posting stuff and that's it? Or is there more to it? I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to promoting my music. That has always been my weakness, if you will. I used to reach out to promo groups/channels and they'd publish my music. That was pretty cool and it gained me quite a few views and fans. But it's all extinguished now due to my long absence. I wanna do things differently this time around. 'On my own'... To really earn my music the recognition I believe it deserves. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Peace.

@Johnny5 I was once seeking, yes. And I was dying over and over again, too. What I never had the desire to do though...Is to kill anything or anyone. If anything... 'it' wanted to kill me. ...Which of course turned out to be a misunderstanding. Shall I say; delusion. - No matter how real and convincing it seemed at the time. Wanting to 'kill it' is simply an inability to fully face it and let it be as it is, as long as it wishes to be. - In that light it then dissolves, sooner or later.

@MarkKol Thanks mate! The stuff you shared is not really 'my scene', but I appreciate your thoughts and effort. I already joined forces with the friend I mentioned earlier and he's putting together a 'strategy' for this to happen. I am beyond happy to work with him. Everything smells wonderful so far. Things are escalating!

@Applegarden I have some covers on my mind and a few other stuff. But I also want to do things a bit differently. I don't want to 'loose' my uniqueness and just blend in with the masses by joining that trend. I like the idea of keeping things a bit more mysterious and enigmatic. That's why the music must speak loud and clear for itself. So that alone can be enough for folks to become 'hooked'.
