You might not be aware of this... but everything you are going through is actually happening in reverse. Backwards. You are remembering everything into actuality. You are being retracted back into Absolute Zero. There's nothing you can do about it, really. It's all you are meant to do. The Shift happens when you let yourself become totally devoured by 'The Great Nothing'. He who cannot be named will then (not) step through and (not) come out the other side of... The Light - as Light. The Non-Nothing. The Non-NoSelf. The Realized. The fully initiated and activated. The Awake. The Enlightened. The Ascended. That's what 'Enlightenment' truly is. It's stepping through the Light. Quite Literally. If everything you can perceive - think, sense and breathe doesn't turn into infinite, pure white - it's not full Enlightenment. Just a glimpse perhaps. A breath of consciousness. Some might even be so unused to a quite mind and the effortlessness of being...that they assume the release of the stored junk in their fields is what enlightenment is. It is absolutely amazing and truly freeing, yes. Really beautiful. But not Enlightenment. Only Light is Enlightenment. You see 'Nothing' because you are approaching The Light. It is blinding your senses. Melting them down, even. As long as you can observe 'it' from a safe distance, or even observe at all... You are still walking backwards. Still going through the disintegration process. Remember now; if you do not not take this note that does not not exist seriously... Not Nothing will happen. Regardless. The Nothingness in me does not recognize The Non Nothingness in No You. ?

@Nak Khid Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I see the beauty and meaning of what he said. But I also see the limitations. I know it's just a 5 minute cut... But I find it outstanding that he never once mentioned the breath - while talking about walking meditation. Breathing into the steps of sorrow. Walking and breathing no matter how 'imperfect' our steps seem to be. No matter what is being seen, no matter what is being felt. He mentions 'no destination', too. And then presents destination: 'walking peacefully and joyfully'. He skips the steps in between. The true power of a conscious breath.

That's an entire new thread. A few more thoughts come to mind... For those who might not get the metaphor... 'Walking backwards' is thinking/believing yourself to be your own reflection in the mirror. The process of 'remembering' that you are actually the one looking into the mirror is happening 'backwards' and I refer to it in this thread as 'the process of disintegration'. Why? Because you quite literally disintegrate into Light. Dissolve into it. Melt into it. It is as real as it gets. 'Steping through Light' and 'Coming out on the other side' is meant to point to the emergence of the 'True Self'. The real, fully activated, authentic, fearlessly loving You. I am pointing towards Beingness. Actuality. Love. Light. What happens is that Being then simply is, and it knows it is simply because it sees itself in the mirror (consciousness). It no longer sees things backwards. It is disillusioned. It knows itself for what it actually is and it also knows the mirror for what it is. It does not negate the mirror. It does not deny the mirror. It does not look away. It does not hide away. Being simply is. And the mirror simply mimics and reflects what is. It's the most beautiful, miraculous and mind-blowinglly awesome thing - ever. It's Light, ya'all. And it loves each and every one of you. Infinitely and forever. It could not do anything else but love you unconditionally even if it tried, for a million years. It loves all your quirks and features. All your curves and edges. All your perfect imperfections. Yes, I totally just quoted the lyrics of that song, randomly. ? I Am The Light - The Light I Am. As you are, too. Blessed be your name.

Stop jerking off in your mind and be real with yourself. Only Love is true freedom. Let's do an experiment, shall we? Tomorrow as you go about your daily activities; tell everyone you interact with that they are an illusion, that they don't exist, that they have never been born and that all of this is just nothing. Dead serious. And I will smile gently at everyone, tell them casually how good they look today and ask them if there's anything that's bugging them lately. I'll even go as far as saying they shine bright as Pure Light. What do you say? Are you up for it? Or is this a bit too real for ya?

This is not about right or wrong. This is about actuality of being. Walk your talk.

@VeganAwake Death of 'the ego', or anything else for that matter, is - in a sense - yet the beginning of one's actual 'work'. And it involves no avoidance and no denial. Rather; sheer commitment and dedication. Something that most of those who are still disintegrating would label as 'attachment'. But it is actually pure love, acceptance, freedom and joy of being.

The seed that's growing into the flower has no resistance towards being the seed. It's simply reaching out to the Light ? Feel ya ?

@Nak Khid Nice! I suppose you could put it that way, yes. I'm no brain specialist; but I guess I understand what you mean. There's a lot of ways to point out that duality. I flow with 'the analytical mind' and 'the creative heart'. Screaming love and light in everyone's face when they did not ask for it. Becoming aggressively passionate in expression - instead of being calmly confident and steady. Withholding love and compassion from those who do not radiate love and compassion. Being judgemental. Being naive. Being a people-pleaser. Being a saviour. Being a martyr. Etc. Yes. But also; bullshit.

Haha! Now that's some next level shit ? Reminded me of 'don't hug me I'm scared' All conclusions are the mind's way of trying to grasp magic. Because Infinity. Because absolutely everything that could possibly exist; exists. And also because; the mind and polarization. Precisely! When one is done pretending to be nothing, they continue by being everything and loving the crap out of it. No matter how seemingly opposing things seem to get ?

They come across two paths. Path A says: 'You are nothing, you have never been born, you don't exist, your entire life is a lie, none of this has ever happened, nothing is real. You only ever speak to yourself. You're even having sex with yourself. You have never felt a touch of another. Never heard a voice of another. Even this message is just a hallucination at play. To realize this Truth for yourself you must be annihilated once and for all. You must die, now.' Path B says: 'You are much, much more than you believed yourself to be up until now. You are not only your thoughts. Not only your body. Not only your circumstances. Not only your past. You are everything and everywhere. You are pure, unconditionally loving Light. To realize this Truth for yourself you must find courage and faith within your being to follow your heart. Only Love can liberate you.' In time; the seeker will inevitably come full circle - no matter which path he chooses. All paths lead Home. It's just a matter of resonance and relevance. Path A is a path of disintegration. It is driven by the mind and it is, imo, filled with much more and much nastier traps and 'egotrips'. Path B is what's commonly known as the 'middle way' - I suppose. It is driven by the heart. It is a path of integration, affirmation, authenticity, radical acceptance and unconditional Love. Those who walk on path A... Are walking backwards. Only to arrive home and embrace the crap out of everything that's in front them.

Litterally spreading Light onto this forum, where there seems to be so much 'nothing' and so many 'nobodies' and endless 'illusion'. Also; offering an opportunity to realize another, perhaps lighter and more loving way of doing this 'work'. But hey - I needed to burn in order to realign, too. Blaming or judging anyone is not my intention, at all. You do your thing. I'll do mine.

Deliberately, on purpose and for a reason.
