@Christian Jackson no prob. Go out there with the scientists and see if you can discover where the Big Bang came from. May the force be with you. Also maybe study Quantum mechanics and see how even Einstein came to realize that the nature of reality is mystical. Even the founding fathers of Quantum Mechanics realized this because they were visionaries. Some may have went on to become mystics.

@Shaun God is both duality and non-duality. Form and formlessness... The form is that which does the posting. That is the dualistic egoic mind. But that egoic dualistic mind is but one possible idea in the giant Mind of God. These ideas in Gods mind are also God then too. But God is also pure formlessness. Every possible idea without being thought. So in order to know itself it imagines itself. It has no where else to go as it is itself. And so there you are! You are God tricking himself into thinking you are Shaun.

@Christian Jackson this is tricky stuff. One can exist, not exist and also be both simultaneously that is the paradox. First let's remember the substance of consciousness is nothing. The physical world is imagination or illusion. It is relative to how you look at it. If you look at Conrad as the part - little Conrad - that's what you have. If you take God's perspective, the whole or Absolute..you have pure isness or pure Being/Potential. And you can also notice that they are One. The relative and Absolute are One. If only One thing exists then it IS itself. At the level of isness existence and non-existence are indistinguishable. So the answer to what is God? It is itself.

@GreenWoods your welcome but when it happens you won't be thinking about a whole lot but you will be blissing out and crapping your pants simultaneously

@GreenWoods not in my experience or i wouldnt be here. And i have had some very powerful mystical experiences where after the kundalini becomes total a powerful force - all of infinity - just fills you and you will shake uncontrollably - kind of like tremors. Because the mortal cannot contain Infinity. And remember all of this including you is imagination. The physical body and world is an illusion..it's just an idea.

@Onecirrus first off great question. Keep in mind that God is Love. It has no oppistite.. Evil only happens/exists when one isn't conscious they are God. For all of humanity to awaken is for God to awaken himself fully by awakening all of his parts.

@GreenWoods yes when Kundalini becomes so strong the ego collapses and dissolves leaving only Being. I call Kundalini Being itself.

@BlessedLion totally understand. You may need more life experience. And life is a lot of suffering LOL. So pursue it but don't set false expectations - it happens when it is ready to happen. For me that was decades. Live your life at the same time.

Just pull out your hand. Look at the finger. It's just a finger. Look at it again but be conscious it's the whole hand. Quite simple actually.

@themovement no because Truth is prior to evidence. You are new here but that's been said here for a while. You can discover this for yourself by becoming it via mysticism - IF your mind is open.

@Mikael89 and you shouldn't. Truth is not a belief. But don't take anyone's word for it. Do the practices and validate it for yourself. It has been explained many times to not take Truth as a belief.

It's not they are beta..it's that they understand Oneness. They don't care what others think because they are conscious that they ARE the others. They're the whole chabang. Try and grasp that.

@zeroISinfinity precisely. You as Zero are an illusion..it'sis the only way you can exist - thru illusion. So actually you don't exist. Your just Infinity! ZeroisInfinity is the perfect name.

@Zigzag Idiot i wholeheartedly agree that suffering is spiritual growth.

@Jkris It's a process. One Awakening will not rid you of addictions, but as I mentioned, you have to die to Awaken - and you will come back a different form - but the differences may be slight. The more Awakenings One has the more the form is altered. Therapy and things of that nature are within duality - it can work within its context - but it cannot compare to God realization. In the end with therapy you are just talking to yourself and ultimately you must fix your own problems. Any who dispute this have not awakened. With ego transcendence you can lose the fear of death. It is possible. It is also possible to view the fear of death, while you still have it, as healthy - because you are conscious that death is Bliss - and also conscious that you as the ego still fear it.

Form is form. It is a particular way. It can be short, tall - skinny, fat. It can have illness..it can be "healthy". It is a particular way. Enlightenment collapses this particular possibility into pure potential. But as pure potential you simultaneously have certain realizations as the Absolute. During this blissful non-dual state all form dissipates as does all related with form. God is Absolute perfection. On the gradual collapse back into form you have passageway into the formless. You have broken through the gateless gate or impenetrable barrier. This pathway is now open. Awareness expands. The miracle of Oneness happens. As you are no longer the same form - your old form died and now you are reborn as new form - so too has all things related to your form. This can include illnesses. There is change everywhere in your form. Because you are now a different form.

Yes your ego will come in and want to twist enlightenment for it's own deluded needs simply to move you away from ever discovering Truth. The simplest answer is to be in a state of not knowing. When mediating simply try to be present and free of thought. Notice thoughts will appear but just let them go and bring awareness back on awareness itself. This will allow you to connect with Being - the formless. For me the path was to start with self inquiry that allowed me to become conscious that i was consciousness. But i did the do nothing no mind meditation as well and still do. That's all i do these days. If egoic selfish thoughts come in go meta and dismiss them. Then move on. Keep the mind open and do not be triggered by your own ego.

@Hellspeed maybe its completely unrelated - i have OCD and have been gradually more conscious even without enlightenent. But after liberation it seemed to become much easier and less severe - and that is simply through the miracle of God realization. This whole thing including yourself is being imagined by yourself. God can do whatever he/it wants. So be careful to put limitations on God.

Enlightenment will not cure you of your addictions, mental illnesses etc. But you will be more conscious of them and more self aware of what triggers them and when they happen. That in itself as well as realizing you are God can lessen their severity to a degree but it will not be the cure. You will have to do your own work on that which can take decades. So yes it can help but isn't the end all be all fix.

@karkaore Yes. Think of your ego as a possibility which plays out in some type of form or particular way. When you have the first awakening/mystical experience/mystical shift in consciousness. The ego/relative/duality collapses leaving non-duality - pure Being/pure potential. In that state you are pure isness. Ultimately you will collapse from the Absolute back to the relative. Back to your ego. From the Ego's perspective now you can only imagine the experience of Pure Being. You are not being it any longer. Yes you are being it, but as form or a particular possibility which is within the formlessn or Infinite Potential. The formless just is itself (no form) After many awakenings and many realizations you are really opened up and can feel Kundalini or Being all the time. You also have a sense of non-dual awareness. (There is more to that but i won't touch on here) But you still cannot be pure Being (non-dual formlessness or pure potential) while you are being a particular form or possibility. Thats what i mean by being in your current dual state.
