  1. @Anna1 we can discuss both can we not? You seem to well educated on both no? I think David has been running around acting like he is an expert and he can't even get the word right.
  2. @Anna1 Thanks Anna. I didnt claim to be an expert in Buddhism he did. I just grabbed his word and copied and pasted but yeah Advaita was what i meant. Maybe the three of us should all have a discussion on Buddhism to get a good understanding of it because i think he needs the teachings more than me. If he's open to it.
  3. @Jed Vassallo ive talked talked about my awakening many times here..i figured people were sick of hearing about it...right now I'm mobile but when i have more time i will tell you my entire experience. In a nutshell i was meditating doing self inquiry and something happened. A mystical experience. I was immediately thrown into a non-dual state. I became Being. That's not something that can be explained in words. But Being is conscious and aware - as universal consciousness i became conscious instantly of how reality worked in its entirety. I became conscious of Absolute Love and Infinite Intelligence. I was on my knees weeping because i had just become directly conscious of Absolute Infinity as i discussed in this post. Its everything you thought God could be and infinitely more to the point where you are saying Oh my god oh my god. Its infinite over and over and over. I hit about 4 more non-dual states over the next week each more powerful than the last. It was the most amazing thing you could ever, ever "experience". Complete and utter bliss. It is not really an experience it is being God itself. Everything you believed is real becomes recontextualized before your eyes...it literally melts away..a feeling i cant describe. After the experiences which lasted about a week i lingered between states still experiencing unimaginable bliss...which slowly transitioned into suffering ego backlash. I had no sex drive..i was having trouble thinking..depression..etc. This is because i had become God and returned to the Ego. It was a transition and i remember being in between being and myself and not being able to focus. It took work to get my ego back to normal. I know David is going to say...why the hell would you wanna go and do something like that for?
  4. @Jed Vassallo Yes i did jed.
  5. @David Hammond i understand adwaita and buddhism enough to know adwaita believes in the self and buddhism believes in the no self or no soul. You believe in Adwaita which is even farther from the Absolute then buddhism. Buddhism understood that the small self was an illusion and that there was a higher truth. Drake is correct. I hate to break this to you but you spent 10 years going down the wrong path getting lost in a religion that took you down a rabbit hole. Now you are afraid to admit to yourself that we could possibly be enlightened because that would shatter your entire belief system and its terrifying you. You will do anything to convince yourself we have not experienced the Absolute because again that would send you into a terrible case of cognitive dissonance. I feel sorry for you now to be honest. You're in a really bad spot.
  6. @Preetom he's right Preetom. We aren't joking around about this. It's fucking real as shit. When you have the "experience" and that's not a good word because it's not you anymore its God consciousness, its not like your thinking this might be a hallucination..it's not like that. It's hard to put into words but you know its Truth. Like i said it will just melt you. If i was you i would use whatever tools i had available to realize your true nature.
  7. @David Hammond i haven't studied a lot on Buddhism that's true. Because Absolute Truth transcends all religions. Its a paradigm. I used to be a materialist until my enlightenment. During which all that i thought was true melted away before my eyes. It was utterly shocking and beautiful at the same time. Hence the Radical paradigm shift. This stuff is very radical so you have to keep an open mind.
  8. @David Hammond my real name is actually Dave too.
  9. @David Hammond by the way you are revealing to me more and more that you a rationalist and a materialist. Nothing wrong with that but i just don't know why you are teaching enlightenment techniques?
  10. @David Hammond the dream at night - think about it. I am an idea...you can zoom into my hand forever. I am a small subset of universal consciousness. I can dream at night. That doesn't change that the true substance of me is nothing.
  11. @David Hammond Dave (may i call you that?) We don't ignore the formed. The content within reality. It's just that when you have become God you realize that there is nothing else in the big picture than to realize your true self. Like i said earlier I'm always learning new things. But everything else pales in comparison to becoming Infinity.
  12. Please no thread littering. Bask in Inifnity.
  13. @ivankiss of course you can. You are the formless and the form merged.
  14. @David Hammond i am the form and the formless my friend. They are One.
  15. @zeroISinfinity because I'm still everything. And that means I'm conscious and aware...and love My true nature is that of a Giant Mind. The form and the formless merged into one.
  16. @Conrad and you are also nothing. You are infinity which includes everything..including nothing. Nothing permeates through everything and therefore the substance of everything is nothing. You are reality and reality is a hallucination.
  17. @Preetom it will fall on your lap. And the day it does you will be on your knees saying "oh my god" over and over and over and over while in total and complete divine bliss.
  18. @zeroISinfinity you don't. But from what i saw with Leos interview with Martin Ball it is extremely powerful and can propel you into a non-dual state in seconds by effortlessly overwhelming the Ego. I would try it but i have no access to it.
  19. @Shadowraix yes we gain consciousness as we grow whether enlightened or not. Experience leads to wisdom. I noticed since i have been spending a lot more time here talking about the mystical nature of reality that i am actually becoming more aligned to have another experience. Can feel my chakras open up. I think it is my deep love that i feel to help Leo teach this stuff. It seems many have not watched all his metaphysical episodes. So yeah I know i grew a lot on my own the last 20 years without spirituality. But now combining this with practices and or substances i think really takes you to the next level because with mystical experiences you are tapping into Infinite intelligence and Infinite Love.
  20. @Preetom you have a really good grasp of it. Have you had glimpses or gotten close yet in meditation?
  21. @Preetom yeah true i took a deeper look i was focusing on the title of the post.
  22. @Maya_0 Nothingness is not prior to Consciousness. Consciousness is the fundamental substance of realty. It is Absolute infinity. That makes it formless. Infinity includes everything....Everything... EVERYTHING. Everything includes nothingess which makes reality absolutely groundless. When you become conscious of this in your direct experience that is enlightenment, as you become Infinity itself. It will melt you. Its indescribably beautiful and Divine. And it is your true nature.
  23. @Aakash not exactly sure what you mean. A duality requires a perceiver and an object being perceived. But perception is an illusion as in truth there is only Being. So all dualities are created within the mind. UP only means anything when contrasted with down. Dual reality is really just a system of contrasts. It's mind blowing when this hits you. As God all dualities collapse.
