  1. You told me so but you offered no better alternatives.
  2. @Breakingthewall to know what it is.
  3. That's not what Spirituality is about. True spirituality. It's about self reflection and inquiring into the nature of the self. The self. Don't go inquiring into all of reality just yet. Just inquire into the self. What you will find is that it was illusory. What you are describing is false spirituality which is already assuming things about the self or holding pre-beliefs. True spirituality is the unbiased inquiry into the self. Not even knowing what anything is yet but merely starting an inquiry.
  4. I would start caring because he wants to do this elsewhere as well. Not sure i like it.
  5. What would stop there from being this exact same thing completely inaccessible from you? Yes you are the one that first must imagine it. But if imagination IS reality (which it turns out is the case) then it remains a possibility within Infinity. What you are doing which you fail to see is actually limiting Infinity. It's extremely tricky.
  6. No apologies dude this is awesome. Glad you are open minded and leveraging the tools. The thing with Infinity of Gods is that it took me a long time to get. I thought exactly along the same lines as you are. Really what Inifnity of Gods means..and this is very advanced..is that there is a possibility and this possibility must exist - is that another Infinity can exist outside of you. Another reality. Nothing wrong with it. Just notice it. Just noticing it is what Infinity of Gods is really about. It doesn't mean it's a reality because only this is reality. It just means it is possible. It's very paradoxical. You will not be able to avoid running into paradox on your journey to Truth. But that's only because it is fundamental.
  7. Woild you rather be the guy in the matrix who walked around never knowing it was a simulation or Neo? What must of that experience of waking up from the dream been like for him? Worth the price of admission I'd wager.
  8. This is so true. Because you will continue to have insights and realizations as you go on. I used to think that once you're enlightened all your questions are answered. And in a sense they are..if you have the awakening of omniscience. But this doesn't mean that Consciousness or reality has nothing left to explore or realize. That is the true wonder of reality. For example there may be things that don't click until later.. Your mind is always expanding and you are getting more and more conscious as you age. At least for some of us. Some of us are so stuck in their own dogma that their minds can never grow. That is a terrible shame.
  9. When you awaken you are in a much higher state of Consciousness to where things like flying or putting a million dollars in your bank account become meaningless. Does God fly around like a bird? No..he does this as a bird..God in its purest form is formless Infinite Being or awareness. But you can reach this even if you don't leave your current form. Your current form still remains through awakening. It is a samadhi not masamadhi. Your finite form remains even though you are in an Infinite state of Consciousness. This allows you to return to the dream. When you awaken permanently you will leave the current form behind and take some other finite form.
  10. Well..exactly. And what would be the point? To free one from suffering because there isn't one to suffer? That seems like a goal of the self.
  11. You'd be surprised. Spirituality can be turned into it's own religion.
  12. There still has to be a spiritual practice. There was for me and there was for them..otherwise It just turns into a belief. That's very dangerous. They can just convince people there was never a self. And then it's no different then Christianity.
  13. And by the way. It could have been all the seeking that led to the spontaneous drop.
  14. I heard that too from what I have seen from what was posted here. Well if awakening happened just out of nowhere I still think it's a disservice to newcomers to tell them it never existed. It "dropped" for him even by your account. That means it was there before it dropped. The problem i see with these guys is they make it about concept. If they say it never existed then it could never have dropped. And if they tell newcomers it never existed then how would they ever be able to self reflect or self inquiry to drop the self. Not everyone will have it just drop when going to the grocery store. Not many at all. Even meditation doesn't get most people anywhere.
  15. I want you to look within yourself. Your whole life you have you believed you are some entity that exists? Or do you believe you are just things happening. The body moving with nothing in control. For me I thought i was an entity behind the eyes. A soul. That had to be shattered with awakening. And awakening was through meditation. I asked you how did Tony come to know he never existed.
  16. Inflammatory and ignorant is quite relative. Rather than declare they are ignorant it would be much more intelligent of you to explain or depict why they are ignorant from your perspective. But you didn't do that. And if calling it like I see it is Inflammatory then so be it. All I'm saying is that it seems you wanted to make a post where everyone saw both sides of the dialogue. Well.. if you wanted that you should have just kept it between you and AI.
  17. If you posted a Chat GPT dailogue between a christian and the Buddah i would have said the same. I have strong opinions about this because i don't want to see anyone deceived. So yes I have strong opinions. But it doesn't mean you have to get all bent out of shape. I want to hear your opinions too.
  18. So you have no bias towards the Parson's perspective vs Nisargadatta? If so why did you become so defensive when I felt one was awakened and the other was not? You can lash out at me all you want but that was not a normal response that you gave me. Rather then reacting with thoughtful opinions or intelligent feedback you just said. OK thanks boss. But you want to block me.
  19. @VeganAwake talked about them long before you did here. i had all i need to know. But I wanted to know from you since you seemed to get so defensive when I preferred one teacher over another.
  20. @PurpleTree @VeganAwake is the king of this neo-advaitan crap and he posted it for years long before you were here. I don't need to study these guys personally because I can easily see from what was posted here. Go back and read his posts
  21. @PurpleTree you're obviously getting very defensive about Parsons..sorry I struck a nerve.
  22. I've seen what people post about him and Jim Newman. You're not the first. And I've seen a few Jim Newman videos. And I've had fans of both post videos here. I don't need to delve into their content to know they are fake. But I did give you the benefit of the doubt to tell me more about their content then what is often posted here.
