If you think you are in non-duality right now you are fooling yourself because you aren't. A state of samdhi is mystical. I think that is where you and i disagree and that's OK. You can have non-dual awareness after awakening - what i mean by that is being able to embody it and be aware of it (conscious and awake to Infinity or your true nature) afterwards -but in a non-dual state you are pure Consciousness.

Yes I'm not disagreeing with you in that sense...I'm not talking about the separate self in particular I'm talking about all distinction. All distinction is illusory, including the self. But i prefer the term imaginary. All of this is imaginary. But since imagination is all there is - then by default there is no difference between real and imaginary. There is nothing else to contrast it with. And thus, imagination, or illusion as you call it, becomes reality. That is how everything is created from nothing. When all distinctions collapse you have Absolute Infinity which is everything and nothing simultaneously. Everything is nothing. That is Absolute Truth. It's not just word games. I'm not disagreeing with you either I'm just adding a broader context then just the self being an illusion

I look at it as Absolute and relative domains. Purpose and meaning are relative. From the Absolute perspective it is perfection. It just IS. There is no duality so there is no difference between anything. But as humans we dwell in the realm of the relative - though through wisdom we can embody the Absolute and take that perspective as much as we can in our daily lives. Although a degree of relativism is necessary for survival. Because if you took the Absolute perspective all the time in the relative domain than that would mean to you there would be no difference between walking off a cliff and not walking off a cliff. And from the Absolute there isn't. But if you wish to remain in this domain than you must take into account relativity. in Truth though we are in duality it is still a part of non-duality. And simultaneously it is non-duality. So it's all One. The finger is also the hand. It is just shifts in perspective. Shifts in consciousness.

Perfectly said. And yes it is the miracle of all miracles when it is realized. There is truly nothing else that can compare.

@Beginner Mind I've only heard/read a few things from Rupert but what i heard i liked. You would be in good hands. The one bit i listened to was his breaking down of Solipsism and how it is not true. And i also know that from the Absolute perspective he is awake to Oneness and that all beings are actuallly a manifestation of the one Universal Consciousness or Great Mind.

Then maybe you are too attached to him as a spiritual guru and need to realize still that you are your own authority? I am not trying to offend or anything I'm just posing the question because that's what it seems from my perspective. I mean the teachings are all there if you want them. All the practices..everything has been provided to find Truth so that you no longer need to follow anyone. I mean if you are taking his words personal when it seems all he is really saying is quit the mucking around and find out for yourself. I guess it's frustrating for him - and it is for me - because I'm sure if he could awaken everyone with a magic wand he would. But it doesn't work that way.

I understand yours too and they are all valid points In regards to one of your points perhaps its not stated enough here that psychedelics should not be taken irresponsibly, but rather with care, and with knowledge of potential risks - but to set an age recommendation would be hard because everyone matures at different rates. But as a general rule i agree it probably shouldn't be toyed with before 25 and even then only with a foundation or conceptual framework - i.e actually listening to Leo's videos on topics like enlightenment and self inquiry, Absolute Infinity, quantum mechanics debunks materialism, reality is a strange loop, and Godels incompleteness theorem to name a few. Then first spend at least a year doing hardcore balls to the wall meditation and or yoga. Then and only then go into it and go into it with care.

Its not about seeking enlightenment at that stage - it is exploring consciousness for things such as healing. When you become conscious that reality is in fact an infinite mind - mystical and a mechanical - then many new doors open up. This is going beyond most enlightened masters. Its to move humanity forward. People will poo poo it of course - that's just fine though and to be expected.

@fridjonk well said. Although i have no experience with psychedelics i can intuit they can take you deep and overwhelm the ego seamlessly. They can also probably heal depression and other psychological ailments. I've no doubt about it. Studies are coming out about that too.

@LfcCharlie4 It's not about psychedelics - my awakening - and you know this because we have talked outside the forum - was via meditation. @Mongu9719 just stepped across the line of the guidelines because there are open minded people who are here to learn and he is calling them sheep. Its not conducive to the work we are doing here. Not beneficial to anyone.

If we see it we will issue a warning. I'm not sure what the big deal is here....

@Visionary no worries i was coming from a place of respect and not preaching or anything. I have not healed either but i know it's possible. I did lose10 pounds overnight after a mystical experience :)? being totally serious too.
