Support for Israel is still strong in my estimation but that's because the US and Israel both have tyrants at the helm and it's basically a scramble for power and survival. Iran and its forces arent going to be able to overcome that.

I agree with this. This whole endeavor does very little. But it can set Iran back a bit. Thats the real goal. Of course you can start again but when someone erases your scrap board that can be quite frustrating. The US is trying to get under their skin. Iran is going to get their ass handed to them. They can build deep underground- but now you have the US prodding around sending bombs. They aren't going to be able to hide the nukes because of the strength of US intelligence. Lucky for the US Iran was already building. So that question is null.

I get you. I think there's really no way to stop AI I think that's the point. My dad took me to see the Terminator when I was like 6 and we thought the machines would never take over. Now it seems like a reality.

Lions don't have the potential to become more intelligent than you. Preventing AI from bettering itself is what you are saying to do, in essence. You're holding it down or constraining it from growing. Thats not the same as constraining a lion.

If it turns amok fix it. But don't contain it. What he was stating doing would be controlling. If we are going to do that we might as well let AI win.

We can't alter that line because that would be authoritative. So we have to let AI evolve. Otherwise we aren't evolved.

This AI revolution is fascinating. And scary. Pretty soon none of us will even be relevant. If AI becomes capable of making babies it just might be the end.
