  1. Thanks. Yeah that's kinda what happened. We are talking again and ahe wants to make sure religion is not an issue this time. We will see. I will he very guarded but our relationship had so many other good points I'm willing to try. So we will see.
  2. No i never pushed any worldview on her this was all her wanting to convert me. I would be happy not talking about it all. But ultimately you need someone at similar intellectual levels too.
  3. Wealth isnt happiness. As long as you are content. Everyone talks about living off the land in the West but you are actually doing it 😀
  4. It truly is. There were a few times where she wanted to hear my side of things but once I went meta or talked about actual vs concept, self inquiry, meditation and the like, she sounded like she was listening but really she was too attached to her beliefs to entertain so as you said her response was that it was a demon. Her meditation is not actually meditation it's relaxing to Jesus calming videos.
  5. Thank you. It was. Almost 3 years. There was a few on this forum or told me not to get involved with stage blue. But I didn't listen. I thought it could work becsuse I told her I would still go to Church with her and support her beliefs. But as time progressed it got worse and worse. She would wake up saying she wanted a Christian man. I'm Jewish as u probably know from posts in political forum but I'm not religious. She knows about my views on Spirituality and enlightenment and it just kept escalating and escalating. She despises Leo she thinks true Spirituality is the cult. You know how it is. It was very hard and heart breaking. My argument to her was even if I didn't have an awakening I would have still been Jewish and wasn't going to believe in Jesus. Why did you get involved with me in the first place knowing this. So I can't stress enough to anyone out there..those check boxes on religious views really matter. Don't brush it under the rug when meeting someone.
  6. This has been discussed before. Basically there is a duality between ego and God/Spirituality/metaphysical love and metaphysical Oness (same thing). This is why self improvement and spirituality collide. The best thing is to strike a balance. But when you go full fledged into spiritual work it will end in ego death. The balance comes later when trying to juggle ego and the Spiritual Truths realized on awakening. That integration and embodiment is the real struggle not the sitting down and doing self inquiry. That was the easy part.
  7. It's terrible. Try being with one. They think it's their duty to convert you. I just separated with her because of this. She doesn't understand true spirituality because Christianity was so ingrained. There is no bringing them back.
  8. I was thinking the same thing....
  9. Hold up how in the heck do you support yourself then and where do you live?
  10. One human life taken for a cause is a start.. The very next day, November 30, Arab militants attacked Jewish buses near Lod and Ramla—killing passengers.
  11. That's a distortion of what happened. There was a two state solution proposed and it was refused by the Arabs because Israel got a slightly larger stake and then they attacked the Jews over it. I'm sorry but that's not the same thing. Also 55% to 45% was probably optimal based on population. If they didn't like the proposed solution was violence necessary? No. So this is not a fair comparison about someone burglarizing your house .
  12. Bro he just laid out the chain of events. Basically the Arabs started all of the violence because of 10%. So you can complain all you want but the facts are clear. They didn't have to seek violent means. I'm really glad we went into the weeds on this because Israel gets such a bad rep on this forum for the war in 1948 but here you have it. Started by Arabs.
  13. Welcome to the forum. You should see how i tried that in the spirituality section.
  14. Relax on him. It's obvious he touched a nerve.
  15. Because he knows no one will watch them. And he's way smarter than us on this. It's his major.
  16. Watch the video. It complains about Palestinians being imprisoned in the West Bank but then says expansion allowed Hamas terrorist attacks. Obviously this was before the war.
  17. So settlement expansion caused an insecurity because troops weren't available to defend against Hamas terrorist attacks? OK. You should be happy that it is a distraction. After all you are defending the Palestinians and Hamas aren't you?
  18. Thank you for the video but that was not the latest words from Bibi it was probably early on or at the beginning of the war. But yes you are right. War is destruction and not the optimal path. But to your point - the optimal path requires one word, which you stated. TRUST. It all comes down to this. Everything comes down to this one word. And right now I'll give you this. .it does seem like the US and Israel is bullying Hamas into a forced surrender to return the hostages. But you see the problem is we are already at war. The war was started on Oct 7th and now it has to end. Who is at fault is irrelevant. So you can say genocide was the end result of total destruction but that does sorta change the definition of the word. Because genocide requires intent. But It's all a mess now because of what Hamas did. How can trust really be built now?
  19. The only problem is Israel doesn't have intent. This is especially good that you pointed this out so that you can see your own devilry. You see you desperately want Israel to have intent to destroy because that would validate your earlier discoveries about the goings on in the Middle East. But the truth is your just a guy in London who probably hasn't even traveled there. Yet you have an awful lot to say about how evil Israel is. The problem that remains for you is proof of intent. You won't be able to do that simply because it isn't there.
  20. Alright let's see what happens. In the end. The US and Israel have the power. They worked for it. You could call it Capitalism if you want to. Let's see what happens. Fair or unfair, it is what it is. Hopefully there can be peace. But I think here you have to remember history. Nations were always won through military strike. They were not won though armchair talks.
  21. It just means the terms left and right are reversed in Russia pretty much.
  22. @Daniel Balan the only reason he thinks that is because of the claims of fascism on the right in the US. Obviously he adheres to capitalism to some degree. But honestly its all relative bro. The right and left are relative to what you think they are and they might be different in different countries. But that's a great point. When you say the right was more progressive than the left in the USSR what do you mean specifically?
  23. Yes exactly making it work is the struggle. Our survival and our need (and right) for freedom is what drives Capitalism. However when the few have everything and the rest have little it breeds the need for socialism. Yet this is the art of survival left unrestricted. The trick is putting the right restrictions in place to allow those less skilled or ambitious to still have a chance at a decent life. Therein lies the challenge.
