STRATEGIZE, man. You're putting too much on your plate. Focus on a few things at a time. If you think that you need to pursue getting a job and dating first then do that and still do your music production on the side when you can. You should definitely be able to stop thinking about going on a psychedelic retreat for a while at your age. If i were you, I'd set that aside until my thirties. Focus on what you can realistically achieve first. At your age, it's probably best to be an avid book reader and get really into contemplation so you can get a high-quality understanding of the world and yourself. All these stuff are good but you have to a follow a path to get to all of them rather than thinking about them all at once. It'll be incredibly tough and require a lot of patience but it's worth it. I myself am at your exact age and also have music production as my main life purpose. I've had my own mistakes that I don't have the time to lay out here. I've pretty much realized on my own that I can't really focus solely on music production and expect success right away. Even after 8 months, it's still not going to be enough. Life works in counter-intuitive ways. You may find golden nuggets in completely unexpected places.

God works in mysterious ways

Title says it all. . . I feel like this is a sort of contradiction @Leo Gura failed to address in his Letting Go video. They honestly feel like completely opposite techniques to me that are also supposed to help people get what they want.
-
@Leo Gura Okay, then. I sorta get what you're trying to say. I still think it should have been at least mentioned in the video. It just seemed like a pretty important point that's worth bringing up. I see. I'll keep that in mind. That kinda resolves the paradox/contradiction for me. To be honest, I haven't yet read that much about Law of Attraction so I still don't have a very nuanced understanding of it.

Man, that sounds like a real circular waste. A college degree whose only practical value is to help others get the same college degree. Edit: Whoops, I just realized that you were talking about Masters and PhDs in general and not just Philosophy degrees. Sorry, my mistake.

A really high-quality commentary on men in society.

That almost sounds like nihilism to me. That you can create anything and it doesn't really matter what you choose to create. -

I guess I've been curious as to how to properly distinguish between Love and Attachment. They sorta feel like the same thing but also they have different ways of manifesting themselves. -

@CreamCat Dude, that was actually pretty easy for a rhythm game note pattern. It's only 5 keys and I didn't even do that well as I missed quite a few notes back when I recorded it. Here's someone else's video to put mine into context. It's 9 keys and with a more complex note pattern. It wasn't a full combo run (i.e. no miss) but their overall accuracy was still really good.

You call that difficulty? Here's something I posted a few years ago in my channel.

@Leo Gura It was rhetorical, though. He wasn't seriously suggesting that you ask that question. It was part of a rant talking about some greedy stingy companies in general who would easily fire you if they find a way to get more work from someone else for less pay. Of course, they gotta earn more money than they pay you, I'm obviously not against that. The quote was more of a comment on corporate secrecy. I'm pretty sure you advocated for complete income transparency in Conscious Politics Part 4.

My favorite quote from the video. (20:15) On justifying lying to your interviewer, "Next time you go to an interview, ask them this question: 'So you're offering me a salary of 50,000$? How much money in profit am I making you?' See if they'll tell you, see if they don't try to omit it" --- Basically, the problem as with many industries is unchecked excessive capitalism.

Gotta love these gifs. -
I'm being sarcastic, of course. I don't support the views of this video.

Yeah, It's sorta both. "Simpler" doesn't always mean "Happier". Just to be clear, I didn't want to imply that poorer people are happier. -

I can confirm that. I live in a 3rd world country. Even online stores will sell good-quality products for stupidly-cheap. I even get to pay less when I buy a game on Steam. But you have to live with lower wages, lower quality infrastructure, deal with lower consciousness people, and just generally have less access to better opportunities in life. But hey, it's still good if you want a simpler life I suppose. -

@Leo Gura That makes sense. I've listened to Dick Masterson support Trump during the 2016 Election. He says Trump "Just tells it as it is" and that he will turn America from a 'Nation that worships God' into a 'Nation that worships Money'. (Despite the fact that Trump's Campaign heavily pandered to Christians and Evangelicals and had Mike Pence as his running mate lol) -

I find it interesting that some clearly Stage Orange people love to strongly defend Trump as well. This guy calls himself a libertarian and strongly defended Trump's Wall and racist rhetoric. -

But Leo! How can brains not be real when tampering with the brain can cause observable effects in conscious phenomenon? But Leo! How is this all different from what mainstream religion teaches? But Leo! If reality is infinite, how come we live in a limited universe with strict physical laws? You should have called this "The But Leo!" thread, dude. That would have been funny. -
You're overthinking things. Just do whatever you feel makes the most sense. The process is not linear, you won't just know how to get to your dream career directly. When starting out, it's mostly just blindly bumbling about trying to get a feel of things.

Stop using the phrase "more important". Judging by your explanations, a more apt term would be "more fundamental". This is actually a very important distinction to make to avoid confusion. Lower stages are required to support higher stages but the does not make them "more important". Funnily enough, this shows that you don't actually understand Stage Green and are judging it from a position of Stage Orange. Or rather you haven't yet fully realized the significance of these problems. -
This game is casual. You want a real hardcore rage game experience? Maybe look at Lumines or Gunpey on PSP.

I am pretty critical about your video, though. Moral Realism is not something I subscribe too. Especially not Sam Harris's version of it.
