There's another video of hers (she's trans) that also tries to advocate for almost complete freedom to post anything you want. It's less about copyright but the attitude is about the same. Again, her intentions are good but I think some of her points are horribly misguided. She basically tries to argue against quality control because it's hard to objectively judge works of art. Therefore, Steam should just allow any games of incredibly low quality because. . . they shouldn't be allowed to make subjective judgements as a platform holder? Jesus. . . this video is. . . bad.

@Hansu By the way, I don't think the videos are 'Shitting on Original Artists'. They're really more about having more tolerance for smaller, less talented artists. A very common theme in the video is "Freedom of Speech" which always gets me a bit queasy because people on YouTube generally don't understand the nuances of freedom when they talk about it. And this particular Youtuber, while their intentions are good, definitely doesn't understand how freedom works in the big picture.

It highly depends on the quality of the consciousness of the people you're socializing with and the quality of your meditation. But in general, meditation does a better job at raising one's consciousness than even socializing with a high-consciousness individual.

@Robi Steel Please don't post Tim Pool's rubbish. He's a dumb reactionary. Trump has been very unpopular throughout his presidency. Technically, he didn't even win the 2016 election. Trump 2020 is a very remote possibility.

How do you deal with other people in your life clearly acting from fear or living a fear-based life? How is creative fear or creative anxiety different from other fears? If I eliminated all the external reasons for my current feelings of fear, would my mind then try to come up with new reasons for fear to bring me back to my previous state?

@Harikrishnan It depends on what YouTube decides the kids watch. There's a very good chance they were watching those dumb musical alphabet or number videos. I doubt they're a positive influence to toddlers. It really hinders their development as they form an attachment to bright and colorful images on a screen.

You can build your own Rajneeshpuram at the comfort of your home. I haven't played it but from what the video says, it may have some flaws. It doesn't really care much about accuracy (or maybe the creators have not actually looked much into cult psychology) but it's still a pretty solid concept for a game.

@Leo Gura Nah, the game is very silly and simplistic. The video reviewer himself critiques it by explaining how a cult should actually work. It almost becomes sort of an educational video more than a game review.

@Scholar Admittedly, yes he doesn't really rant about socialism and communism. I should have phrased it better. I do hold the opinion that advocating a lofty ideal of a socialist society is still better than defending contemporary capitalism. That's just mostly why I don't side with Destiny on this issue. Capitalism just deserves more critique nowadays than socialist idealism does.

@Joel3102 The guy only understands communism as its terrible Stage Blue incarnations and somewhat denies the systemic workplace oppression of capitalism. He's more of a left-leaning centrist imo.

There's a political streamer named Destiny who used to be popular among the left-wing community. He debated a lot of pretty far-right people and even I honestly got a lot of entertainment from those videos. Nowadays, the lefty community hates him because he spends a lot of his current videos ranting about communism and socialism especially since it's quite clear that he doesn't have a very good understanding of the current anti-capitalism culture. Before that, he was pretty vocal about calling minimum wage "stupid". I guess that was a shape of things to come.
