I once called an arrogant Scientism defender (as in they explicitly defend Scientism as objective good) a "Rationalist Nerd". They responded by saying they are connected to Reality. Sometime later, they tried to argue that the morality of Slavery is completely based on history, and that if in the future most people are okay with slavery then there would be nothing wrong with that. This was because they were getting triggered for being called out that worshipping Pragmatism makes one selfish and evil. Some more time later, before they blocked me, they were calling leftists "ghouls" for making fun of Jordan Peterson for tearing up over the "marginalization of incels". They accused the left of making fun of men for expressing emotions. (This was after they told me point blank that they believe emotions and ethics are meaningless) Extreme Rationalism is quite attractive to emotionally-unstable lunatics. How curious.

@Leo Gura made it a point in his latest video that people who have lived in America their entire lives have their minds warped by American conformity. My mind instantly went to this one YT Channel I came across that had nothing but funny stories about American stupidity/entitlement. Would be a great source of examples for American CULTural programming.

Uhm...to better hide the craft? Why would you compare it to a helicopter landing when you just said there's no downward thrust. Not disputing that most crop circles are fake, by the way. I've seen the documentaries about people creating crop circles on their own using computer graphics, a piece of wood, and total lack of anything better to do.

It's quite something to see someone who comes across as very reasonable and rational while at the same time incredibly unhinged and delusional. Very calm and straightforward in his demeanor but just the fact of being Charlie Kirk fan at all shows that he is fundamentally disconnected from reality.

Don't forget the pardoned January 6th rioters are calling for violent action again after Charlie Kirk's murder. I saw a video about it but I lost it.

@Leo Gura I like your blog post about South Korea. I know it's not your first one, I believe you've made a different post about South Korea's stage orange capitalist problem before. But I would also like to point out the irony in endorsing one of Youtuber Moon's videos to make this message. Moon's channel itself has been criticized for being soulles, clickbatey, and sometimes even plagiarized. Information from this channel should be taken with a grain of salt because it's a channel that prioritizes maximizing viewership over everything else. South Korea is everything wrong with Society? Moon is everyting wrong with YouTube. Just take a look at the other videos surrounding their South Korea video and you tell me if they aren't clickbaiting people with the most negative words possible. (I mean, yeah, I agree Megaprojects are from Hell and can go fuck themselves, but still. . . .)

Yeah, I can relate. Though, that's not even a tenth of the value I found from your work.

Existential Snowflakes or Existential Snowflakery Almost pretty self-explanatory, but it's the sad state of the majority of human beings who are stuck living shallow or downright unhealthy illusions and would become scared shitless if they ever came across any deep existential truths about Consciousness.

Not so sure about that, money is an imaginary resource. If the economy gets destroyed, money is useless. It might be. . .might be. . .wiser to focus on developing something internal or tangible.

Or a stupid meta-solution: We can ask the super-AI how to help humans avoid extinction.

We should be thinking about ways A.I. can actually support or even create jobs. Easier said than done, of course. But then again, most things are.

I think government should be allowed to enslave people like you who are serious socialists. There should be a "Lazy Socialist" welfare program. You can help fetch my coffee while I do my serious work.

Why would I want that? If the government would be dead then what would follow is everyone would be dead. You actually want anarchy, dude? C'mon, take this seriously.

Harsh environmental factors are supposed to harden you to the core. It's mega-rich people I see who become comfort-chasing snowflakes. As someone who comes from a harsh 3rd-world background, if I took socialism seriously I would either be homeless or dead.

It's assymetrical, I think. . . Generally speaking, though. Poor people have a better idea of what it's like to be rich than Rich people know what it's like to be poor. Even rich people who were once poor generally lose touch of what it was like to be poor and struggling.

Like mentioned before, I have a friend who has 100M dollars. And they were still weirdly financially-insecure with their behavior in the past. Actually still hoping to talk more to them about it in the future to help them out as a friend.

@Leo Gura With all this talk about the ineffectiveness of Leftist Activism, what do you think of Gary Stevenson's work then? All he does is make videos, attend political rallies, and make public interviews and appearances. And if you know anything about what he talks about it's that the he can be quite direct and alarmist. I guess what I want to ask from you is if you think he's doing Leftism "the correct way". He's a multi-millionaire from trading but he probably got public fame from his book which I haven't read yet.

Eh, I think it's most people's lives that are hollow. Luxury just makes it more obvious.

I've actually become close online friends with one of those kinds of people. Don't ask me how. Yeah, centi-millionaire, 100 million plus net worth. . . they're not even in their 30s yet. (Again, don't ask me how I'm friends with them. That's classified.) But anyway, they told me earlier this year they were going to make it their life's goal to create as much Generational Wealth as they could. I didn't say anything at first but eventually I "scolded" them for being a blatantly-extreme Nepotist. They were resistant for a while, but they actually took the time to think about it more and seems to have made an effort to change their ways. They're a good person, they're kind and well-meaning, but DAMN. . . that incident showed me just how immense wealth can make any person incredibly delusional. I'm sure a lot of ultra-rich people are cruel scumbags, but some of them might just be woe-fully naive and ignorant despite their good intentions.
