  1. Please come back to this thread in 2 years. I wanna know!
  2. I don't know if you trying to loose weight but the most common problem is that people don't eat enough! They can stick to a low calorie diet but after 2 weeks of 1000kcal/day they cannot control the body any more and before they know it they sitting in front of he tv with a big bowl if ice cream and feel bad. You can't control that urge and it makes sense... A really important rule is to eat at least 85% of the food as whole foods. And stick to it. Find a way and if you can think yourself eating the same way for 20 years to come then that's what you want. Do not lie to yourself. Personally I want to eat everything so I do plan when I can eat the stuff I want. Always have food ready at home.
  3. There's so much healthy foods out there but this question still comes up. Everything that's not a "food product" goes. Just pick from there. But you have to cook for this to work! Have 1-3 days where you just cook and prepare your food. It takes some effort but if he mind about food he should do the most of the cooking. Or you can just let him cook the basics and you can cook the side orders/salsas and so on.
  4. You experience that the dog has a hard life. Have you asked the dog? Of course I think it's waste of life to torment beings. They don't understand their own suffering. Good to hear that you took care of the little one
  5. You don't learn anything from drugs except that is not needed. You wake up the next day and feel like shit. Everyone can do drugs and become funny, outgoing and even get laid. But what's so special about it if everyone can do the same just by taking drugs? Not everyone can get high with just meditation or even be high 24/7 if you continue the progress. But if there is one substance that I respect it would be Psilocybin. You have an amazing time and you remember everything about your new insights the day after. I believe Psilocybin can open the door in your brain to become more open minded and interested in self actualization. But be careful and you really don't need it to become enlighten. Every other drug does no good because they won't last. Meditation and mindfulness lasts forever.
  6. Eckhart said "You want to die before you die" Death is a one time experience. You can't prepare so the most powerful thing would be to watch and enjoy it just as it is. Like everything else.
  7. I just can't shut up about this It is so fascinating and powerful it must be spread. People do not really get what I'm talking about and I have now starting to learn that they change when/if they are ready. I love socializing but it would be so awesome to have discussion with a mindful person. "Normal" conversations feels boring but in the same time it's a good opportunity to be present and it gets quite fun!

  9. Find your "WHY?" It could be anything! No matter if it's getting stronger, be healthier or just to look good. If your "why" is bigger then what you're currently doing then you will make results. When you feel your why then you have to find something that you can stick to. Ask yourself "Can I do this everyday for the next 10-20 years?" If you can then you have already reach your goal. The goal will change over time and that's a good thing to remember. The hardest thing for me was accepting that it takes time. Just do the small things everyday and it will be a part of your life. To DO something is way better then just thinking about it. Thinking about it will NOT get you where you want. You have to take action. You have to find a way that makes it easy. Something you can stick to. And then it's all about living it fully. If you do right everyday the results will come sooner then you think.
  10. What is "healthy" breakfast? Is there such a thing? If your goal is to lose fatt hen skipping breakfast would be the best. You can save those calories for later and be more satisfied when you have your first meal.
  11. I don't think you should listen to your mind at all.
