I just checked out his rally in GA. It seems like a large segment of his audience knows he's full of shit and can see the overt manipulation and some of the lies. He literally just told them to the only way to stop their families getting murdered and raped is to prevent Kamala from winning. I think most of them can see through that by now, but not sure.

I like Bashar but he loses me when he starts explaining metaphysics. He's pretty damn funny though. Goood DAAAYYYYYEE doyouall! 😂

@integral I see what you mean! I agree.

True, but should one not aspire to align their consciousness with their preferred states and principles their higher self has found to be valuable? It sounds like you're saying it's a fool's errand to attempt to change the psyche because it's simply not controllable to a significant enough degree to warrant the effort and you have to just accept that. Consider loving-kindness meditation. If you spent a year practicing it for an hour a day, I'm pretty sure it would significantly change you. The more you practice, the easier it becomes to create those states. So maybe you can't control consciousness, but you can definitely train it. It's good to recognize the limits but to sit in the backseat on this ride isn't my cup of tea. Part of the thrill is pushing the limits. Maybe I'll find out one day it's all just cope but if I have ZERO control, it just zaps the zest right out of the whole thing and I'm not interested. I'm not sure to what degree my ego is involved here but it is what it is for now.

How intelligent can Brand be? He found his way to Christianity. He wasn’t even indoctrinated. You know you’re fucked up if you make it to 50 and then join. I judge overall intelligence not simply by the degree a person can manipulate and toy with abstractions, which Brand and JP and Ben Shapiro can obviously do, but to truly be intelligent, you have to do more than just toy with ideas. The whole point of gleaning the essence of things is to understand them so you can figure out their place and value. Once you’ve gleaned the essence of Christianity, which has little to do with spirituality, the wise thing would be to do with it what you would do with any other toxic thing… get it away from you. More importantly though, brand does not care about religion. He’s grifting. Here’s proof:

It’s funny, I just mentioned this book the other day in post someone made about synchronicity. The actual audio book on Audible was much better than the video IMO. The narration is much higher quality and more polished. It seems like the same voice in both but I’m not sure.

You'll never create healthy conditions for humans and life on the planet by forcing them to adopt ancient beliefs and values. If there's a dominant force seeking to hold dominion over your psyche, there will be no peace. You might not be forced to buckle up for your own safety and to save government resources but peace, health, and flourishing go right out the window. I think when you understand this, you can easily categorize their position as antithetical to what is good, thus evil. It's nowhere near a viable option.

It covers already well-established self-dev principles but I found it helpful in its organization and approach to integrating the principles. It had a very logical and sober feel to it, which was different from my preferred style but it was overall valuable for me to see how a more logical person than myself approaches it and I got some inspiration from that. I liked how the principles were articulated and couched in fresh perspectives. It had a sort of robotic-like aim in forging the principles, which also appealed to me.

What I'm most shocked by is how well-organized and strategic the ring leaders are. I mean, it really is something. They have massive amounts of tax-free money, they're a large, well-connected, organized network of elites that have been concentrating power and influence and acquiring an army of obedient Christians over a period of decades and those Christians are ready to take whatever cue their preacher man gives them, who gets his cues from the network of elites. And these elites share a common end goal—to take over the government. I knew there was some half-assed organizations but had no idea anything of this magnitude and sophistication existed.

If I were to go and spend 1 hour contemplating "what is racism", my understanding of it would change or deepen and your dictionary cannot capture the realities and insights found in those depths. I don't expect you to go to those depths but just trying to show you they exist and you can go there if you want. haha, I don't need to be told this. But you should know that not all people are susceptible to influence and bias to the degree that most are. You seem woefully ignorant of what this means. Some people don't rely on others to tell them what is what. Conformists do that. I am not at all obsessed with race and nowhere close to what you would consider a "woke" liberal or leftist. I'm mostly apolitical but when the world started to praise Trump and a large segment of the population failed to see what was clearly before them, I started paying attention. I said they don't hold much value in the world of deep understanding. If you want to ask "what is a thing", you can't penetrate what it is with words and labels. You have to look at its nature. And why do you want a consensus? Spoken like a true centrist 😂 This is foolish. It's not my fault you can't look beyond what your betters told you to call a thing. Think for yourself! There's no need for a consensus, unless you're in a debate or afraid you'll be ostracized. I wasn't trying to convince you of my understanding of racism. I was trying to show you how I came to the conclusion that Trump is, at the very least, likely a racist and through a similar method, you could come to that conclusion yourself, but that means you'll have to leave your dictionary behind, strap on a sac, and as Neil deGrasse Tyson would say, travel into the great unknown! 😂 -

Notice how limiting your dictionary definition is. With your definition, would you ever be able to discern if someone is a racist without them openly admitting to it or it accidentally slipping out? No! I've personally known many racists and can see for myself what it is and the simple list I provided, although incomplete and imperfect, does more to flesh it out than your dictionary definition. The list has the elements from which racism clusters with and spring from. It touches on the nature of racism and provides insight into what makes a racists, rather than simply how to use words to categorically label overt racism, which seems to be all you're interested in. To acquire insights, the list items have to be contemplated, not simply glossed over. Don't read it like a definition. Ask yourself, "What is racial animus?" and try to figure it out yourself. You have to stare deeply and contemplate the nature of a thing. Dictionary definitions are of little worth in the domain of insight and understanding. -

What is the point of questioning reality if you don't revise your understanding in light of better reasoning? You say you want evidence of Trump's racism, but do you? Question: What are the common traits that make up the typical racist? Answer: hateful spiteful vindictive likes controlling others enjoys kicking down motivated by superiority and domination shows little empathy Question: Does Trump possess all of these qualities? Answer: Yes. Combine the above reasoning with the fact he has a history of racial animus, although no recent slip-ups caught on camera. Do these truths account for nothing in your assessment of the question, "Is Trump racist?" You might not be able to answer the question definitively but given his history and the cluster of character traits that have been on display for 8 years, your default position should be, "I wouldn't doubt that Trump is racist and it's probably even likely". Not, "I've never seen anything to suggest he's racist." Your biases are failing you yet again. Will you revise your understanding or cling to your bias? -

Intelligence is laborious. If you're lazy, you can't have it. You have to ask and answer questions and make sure you're building on top of truth, not what you want to be true. Consider "What is Trump". If mother Theresa said these things, the analysis would be different. We take into account the nature of the thing. What do we know about Trump? Trump is not Christian. He's telling Christians he is a Christian. He has no qualms about promising the world and delivering nothing. He doesn't care two shits about Christianity and is going out of his way to stand in churches and call himself one of them. He claims he's the best at everything, including solving impossible problems. Built his identity around being a world-class dealmaker. He's incredibly stupid but his bravado charms people. Question: What does it seem like someone with the above character traits means when they say "We're gonna fix it so good, you'll never have to vote again my beautiful Christians"? Answer: He's pulling his snake oil sales routine on the Christians. Question: What exactly did he say? Answer: He promised Christians he's not only going to deliver the world they want but promised it would be permanent. Question: Why communicate "permanent"? Answer: Not sure. It makes no sense. Question: What do those Christians even want? Answer: For their religion to permeate culture and all they deem evil to be stamped out. They want all American children to learn their holy books and they largely want abortion, LGBTQ, and every other thing they deem evil abolished. Question: How could Trump solve those things permanently? Answer: I can only think of one way. To never allow democrats enough control to rollback whatever he's promising. Question: What do the Christians think he meant by "never have to vote again"? Answer: I'm not sure but I speculate it sounded to them what it sounded like to most everyone else. I think many of them, if not all were confused by the statement. Question: Would the Christians be willing to barter their democracy to get what they want? Answer: Absolutely Question: Does Trump know that? Answer: Absolutely Question: Do these truths increase the likelihood that he meant what it seems like he meant? Answer: Yes. If he knew they secretly want a dictator and if he secretly wants to be a dictator, he might drop a hint to it in his speech. Careful though. This is just speculation. I'd put it around 75% he meant what he said but most of this comes from previous knowledge about his character, not this line of questioning. This is just ONE line of questioning and dozens or hundreds of important factors were left out. Project 2025, history of doublespeak and dog whistles, his will to power, etc. The problem with most people is they can't even accurately assess his character. Centrists think he's no more evil than Hillary Clinton. If you think that, the answers to your questions will be wrong and thus you will be wrong, over and over, and over. -
I’m curious if anyone has successfully and intentionally used meditation for removing useless/toxic and unconscious mind programs/mentations/thought patterns and either swapping them out for upgrades, aka, recontextualize/reframe, or just allowing empty space to be in their place. I’m sure the answer is yes but I’m interested in the amount of effort that went into it and the degree of success attained and if it persisted or is it something like AA where you have to daily maintain your success. I guess I’m asking, what does it take to truly change how the psyche operates. Apparently, Leo is coming out with a new course that seems to basically be about actually changing the way the mind behaves and perceives, so that will be interesting, but I’m interested in the amount of effort those with success have put in and the degree of success they were able to attain. I ask because if I have to invest 1 hour a day for a year and I only get 10% of my desired result, I might consider passing on meditation. I have a feeling that self-guided CBT/cognitive behavioral therapy would have a greater and faster impact on my goals and would save me a ton of time and effort but I’m not sure. I intuit the two practices would be synergistic and that’s probably the best course of action, but I’m curious if anyone has actually had any success or even failures in this sort of endeavor and would like to share their experience. Thank you!

I get that, but his voters were already gonna vote for him, so why say something that could potentially drive millions of undecided voters away? You don't think he stands to lose WAY more than he gains with those remarks? Do you think he was just riffing on some bullshit or planned to say those things? He was wrapping the speech up and it was call-to-action time, which is one of the most important parts. So presumably, he had an idea he'd say those things and if that's the case, he's gotta be either really stupid, or maybe he doesn't care if he gets those votes. If he just accidentally said these things without consideration or forethought, there's no mystery but if he planned on it, that's sus. -

I know many conservatives who don't usually post politics or religion on social media but they're all doing it today. This video fucked them up. "Quick, look at the drag queens". This was just their first real dose from dear leader. In the next few days, many of them are gonna start saying "maybe we are better off if Trump does stay in there for the next 12 years". At which point, Trump will provide another dose. I know Trump is stupid but him saying this shit out loud is concerning. Why would he do that? It seems completely unnecessary and surely will drive many voters away. So why would he do it? Makes me wonder if he's counting on something besides the votes. -
Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't hate on Goggins though. He doesn't seem like a bad guy. He might be driven by things I wouldn't want to be driven by but I don't think he seems driven by toxic ego like JP. I haven't followed him closely though so I'm not 100%. My favorite evergreen teachers are David R Hawkins and James Allen. Those guys know some shit. Well, they knew some shit. 😂 I first saw Jame Allen's genius when listening to The 8 Pillars of Success. I prefer audio but his written books are in the public domain. https://james-allen.in1woord.nl/?text=eight-pillars-of-prosperity. I don't think I'll ever outgrow James Allen or David Hawkins. I've tried to get into Wilber but just never seemed my style. I should probably try harder.

I really appreciate your comments. For the past several days the theme that "I am the creator" has been powerful and I've had a major shift in awareness around this. The first few days I was just exploring the power that was accessible and then I started to imagine the possibilities of such power and now I'm seeing the implications of those possibilities manifested, which are having significant impact. After I saw the degree of control I have, I was eventually able to finally see the vague, nebulous future I've been telling myself I wanted, as well as the path to that future. I could see what it would take to become fearless, to become peaceful, or what it takes to do anything. I could see clearly how to get there and I could see how much time, resources, and dedication it would require to get there. Then I realized, I actually don't want some of these things. I don't even think I want "fearlessness". I have the power to have it if I want it but do I really want it? The desire for fearlessness is born of fear, but that didn't register to me when I was putting it on my self-actualization bucket list. It only occured to me after I sufficiently imagined acquiring and having it, which only happened because I realized I could have it. But, we have to do something while we're here, so I'm not done with self-development or advancement, but it is interesting that when you know for sure you possess the power to become something, you might decide you don't actually want it after all, or at least, not as much. This is mostly new territory for me so I'm sure my views will change. @Lyubov Would you mind sharing a little about your path? What pushed you to change and how did it happen?

@integral Yes, it's strange. It seems it's some sort of ESP, which I don't have any belief in, but how is it a random person or thing pops into your head like that for no reason? I too have noticed this upon awakening. I worked with a client who I lost touch with years ago and I haven't thought about her in years but I woke up one morning and she was in my mind for some reason. Later that day, she emailed me. If that's not strange, the SAME thing happened about a year later with the same client. It's not the ESP kind of synchronicity but the craziest one for me was: I was listening to the audiobook "Designing the Mind: The Principles of Psychitecture" while cooking. I had burnt my toast a few times and was examining the toaster's settings to understand why it kept burning, despite trying every option. Just then, the audiobook mentioned, "Instead of figuring out why his toaster was faulty, he would be better off buying a new toaster." WHAT??? Are you serious? A friend was once speaking and the words "two bottles" came out of their mouth at the same time a song in the background said "two bottles". But how did I hear both at the same time? I was listening to him but how did I recognize the song also said it since I wasn't paying attention to the song? It seems like there's something that is open at certain times and when it's open, these things can come through. I wonder if people who experience these often have some sort of advanced pattern recognition awareness thing going on and that makes it easier for them to happen, but I'm not sure. I also noticed it comes in waves. I've had dozens happen in a single day and I've also gone months without any. I think your title "don't make any sense" is accurate. They don't seem to have any purpose other than to get your attention. My current understanding on this topic is the signs are random, sporadic, carry no meaning regarding the physical world, and their purpose is to get you to contemplate the magic of existence, but why, IDK. The whole ESP synchronicity thing is definitely interesting and I think worth distinguishing from the isolated synchronicities that only involve a single individual. -
Does anyone ever feel they get signs from God? I was once tripping on AL-LAD and experienced that everything that's ever happened has happened perfectly, just as it had been planned out. I saw that everything that has happened had led me to that exact moment of me realizing God, like it was a gift I was being given. I was supposed to see it. The only thing I could think was " WHY? Why would you do all this for me?" and I connected with some really strong love and just started crying my eyes out. lol. It was beautiful. But anyway... A week or so later I was working with some background music on and I became conscious of some problems I was struggling with. I stopped working and said out loud "Why? Why would you do this? What's the point of these problems?" As soon as I finish that statement, the song that was playing said "This is how I show my love" in the song Sail, by OwlNation. Pretty fuckin freaky, But a great answer. lol I was reading a book a few months back and a family member was watching TV. As soon as I came across the word "coincidence", it was spoken on the TV. This has happened to me about 4 or 5 times in my life. Was reading a book last night and my thoughts drifted to how I should have told my sister I liked her painting she just did but I kind of acted like it was cool but I wasn't impressed. I turned the page right after that thought and the second word on the page was "paint". This grabbed my attention. That very night, I was babysitting my nephews. One had fallen off the top bunk of the bed and got hurt and started to cry but stopped his noise so I couldn't hear him crying, I think because his mom punishes them for jumping off the top bunk. Back to the book I was reading. Two pages later, starting a new chapter, the first story was about how the author and his sister were playing on the bunk bed and the sister fell off and he was afraid her crying would wake his parents so he thought of something clever to take her mind off the pain. So the kid fell off the bunk, experienced pain, and tried to not make crying noise. The same exact thing just happened with my nephews a few hours earlier. I'm curious about other stories like these or any insights you guys might have on this subject. I'm not the type to want or look for signs but I can't deny there's something going on either. Thanks!

Why do you think these russians are so happy who won the US election in 2016? Is it because they are hoping and wishing we will prosper under Trump? I'm interested to know what others make of this. I assume they are happy because Trump will either ruin our position or improve theirs.

The number 1 check on Putin is Nato, which Trump wants to dismantle. That's why Putin likes Trump and wants to be on good terms with him... so he can hopefully manipulate (or pay) his dumbass into removing his biggest threat. He doesn't respect him, he is tricking him. The russians celebrated like it was fucking 1999 when Trump was elected. The degree of strength or fear the US President's character projects is not a large variable for Putin. There's a limit to how much Putin can overreach, even if the US had a midget hippy for president, he can't be like "Oh, there's a weakling who will let me get away with whatever I want".
