  1. how do you guys go about your practice? Do you just ask one question and try to find the answer for the session or do you ask multiple questions?
  2. what do you look for when answering questions like these?
  3. Truely beautiful words. I Have realised that all of this discomfort has been the play of my anxious egoic self to show that its real. I have seen that this has never happened before in my life until I have discovered spirituality. I have seen through the ego and i love my friends. Thank you so much xx "if you search for the sense of self as a tangible entity and find nothing there, then the whole universe is there. That's how much space the ego takes up. Like putting your finger over the sun" Shri Moojibaba
  4. Quick question, can you do the do nothing technique with your eyes closed or for maximum effectiveness does your eyes have to be open? like because i really need to blink. Can you blink or does that defeat the purpose of do nothing. Or is it considered to be a subconscious action like breathing
  5. I have got the same feeling at the moment @Dan B. Its literally identical to what you are experiencing. I have been picking up on the fact that i feel my personality changes with many people. At times it drives me nuts. Sometimes, I get anxious coming home form uni because i am afraid that my friends think i have changed and that i am not my usual self around them. I am glad you brought this thread to life. @jjer94 can you offer any tips for getting rid of the filters because it is easier said then done. I try to hard to remove them and that makes me even more filtered. I am on a path to realise who i am based on truth and maybe there is a correlation between the two? I have become isolated from a some mates at uni because i have discovered spirituality and i feel they think its a bit odd that a student who usually loves to drink and socialize become this way
  6. How long have you been on this spiritual journey until you had these experiences?
  7. So have you had many lucid dreaming experiences?
  8. Hi there, I am currently doing self-realisation for about 30 minutes a day. I have watched Leo's videos on this topic. But I find I difficult to see if I am doing the practice right and would like to have an insight on how other people are doing it. I am really confused where this practice should lead beacuse i am doing the same thing every time, which is to ask myself "who am I at the present moment". I just end up with the same reasoning from my voice and nothing else. Any advice on how the practice should progress in your awareness. What signs should you be looking out for? thanks x
  9. Ok this has totally got me hooked, anyone know any good references for how to create and control lucid dreams? @Leo Gura
  10. Is Leo's video "enlightenment-part 3-creating an experience of no-self" a good exercise for this realisation. It's the video where he takes you through a guided meditation which gives an example of the experience
  11. Hi guys this is for people who live in the UK or like to go to spiritual retreats in the Uk because of its amazing beauty Does anyone have any good referrals for spiritual retreats in the UK that are trustworthy. I have found a couple but question their eligibility. And as a student can't really afford to be scammed ????
  12. Are you planning to make a video on lucid dreaming @Leo Gura. If so let me know so I can get the popcorn ready
  13. Ok thank you guys so much for the advice and help you have given me. It has defiantly given me a greater insight into my practice and let me spot some things I am doing wrong. I see it now as the do nothing technique with the application of applying the questions that question who you are. So when I notice the voice responding to the question I ask to discover my true nature (weather it agrees with the fact that I am a emptiness or the fact I am a person) I just have to see it as the manipulation of the egoic self. Also would like to thank @Leo Gura for this amazing site. I have learned so much from this forum already. He has truly turned my life around. I am so grateful for him xx
