  1. @Jamesc You wouldn't be able to carry your head on your neck
  2. @TheAvatarState Yes it was, Eckhart Tolle is the man!
  3. Hey everyone, I was about to share this experience with you for a long time now, but I thought that it will just disappear after a while... It hasn't actually I saw Charlotte's thread on how she's confused with this work too and then Leo came and fucked her mind even more, so I got inspired to actually go for it. About 2 weeks ago I had a dream (similarly to Charlotte), where I was in a school shooting and I died in that dream. After that I woke up and had this kind of realization, that the clock is ticking and I have to do something, so I did some yoga, meditation, breathing and then went to contemplate my death. When I did that, I actually had this altered state of consciousness and all the barriers between me and other people mainly started to collapse and the self was fading away, but it wasn't Enlightenment, probably just some footprints of the Ox. But it actually meant a lot to me, because when you realize, that everyone is also you, you kind of want to become more empathetic, inspiring, kind, loving etc... So I was trying to embody this insight as well as I can, it's going well, I have like no ego-backlashes what so ever, my happiness levels are through the roof, my meditation practice is better than ever, but still, there is this one thing - using my mind is just beginning to fail me, because I notice, that when I'm trying to think about something, I trap myself in these infinite cycles of meaningless ideas and then I have to get out. What do you think is the way for me to bring this work onto the next level? Obviously, I will stay consistent in my practices, but this conceptual understanding is not sufficient for me now. This doesn't mean that I will abandon it, it's actually the opposite, but whether I go to watch Leo's videos or read some good book, it's all just ideas, that aren't really getting me anywhere. I was thinking about psychedelics or going on a retreat, but my parents wouldn't let me do it just now. Any ideas?
  4. @TheAvatarState Thank you! ? I basically posted this, so that I can get feedback from more experienced people than me, to see if they can spot some „devilry“ in this. I can see now, that it is probably just turning into another distraction, as @Nahm pointed out. I will just follow my intuition Gotta go for a walk.
  5. @Zigzag Idiot Maybe I exaggerated it a bit @Nahm So you think just keep doing the things that I'm doing (because it's going well) and not focus on upgrading it for a while?
  6. @LoveandPurpose Don't think, that after you turn twenty, something's gonna change, do shit now.
  7. @Cortex No, it's just you saying things you think.
  8. @Arthur Oh I see, thanks for the explanation
  9. @Cortex This is double win only for your ego, you yourself are dogmatic, there is no difference between you and the people you are blaming.
  10. @Arthur How come monks are exceptions? They are people like us. I actually feel like you cannot really grow without increasing your consciousness first, these two go hand in hand in my opinion.
  11. @Cortex In my opinion, it sounds like horror... Going into someone's head, just to make him fit into the croud, it's actually disgusting, people have to make progress by themselves, don't you think? The damage this could actually cause... Also, this is only one part of blue and all the stages can become ideological and self-decepted to a certain degree.
  12. What Eckhart Tolle is describing in this video - thought being trapped in itself - basically happened to me (and many others most likely) It was mostly caused by this categorizing everything into stages... It became almost useless and also annoying after some time, be careful about that
  13. @Hero of Time Some of the things that for example your orange side is saying sound very helpful to grasp in my opinion Don't forget, that you can be in different colours in different lines of development. For example, my education line was yellow, but my thinking line was still orange, so I had to meditate more.
  14. @Hero of Time I see, did you think about distinguishing healthy and unhealthy orange?
  15. @Hero of Time Why did you decide to colour the paragraphs?
  16. @Marinus Oh I see, that sucks shit. Good luck, I hope it will make your practice more effective at least.
  17. @Consept I actually did finish it, it's a great book I think that if you combine spiritual growth with the advice from that book, your overall enthusiasm in conversations might look more genuine. I have this entrepreneur friend, who probably reads that book everyday, he would be extremely excited like all the time, it's as if he was high, but it doesn't seem authentic... We are lucky to be able to combine these two...
  18. @GenuinePerspectiveXC You are acting stage blue now
  19. @Marinus Oh I see, thanks man. (should I feel sorry? I kinda don't feel any emotion coming from you + your situation is kind of two faced xD)
  20. @GenuinePerspectiveXC Don't turn black and white thinking into beige, purple, red, blue, orange, green, yellow and turquoise thinking Human psyche is more complex than that.
  21. @How to be wise That makes a lot more sense He is funny.
  22. @Toby I understand what you mean, you first have to know the rules before trying to bend them in a good way, right? I've never played a musical instrument, so I don't really now what it's like to train... But can't you just learn your 1 favourite song for fun? I think you definitely can, therefore I don't really resonate with this approach to the Spiral. Discipline and precision is a healthy blue in my opinion though
