  1. Sounds like you’re progressing through the typical stages of vipassana meditation. Specifically 2nd stage where there’s an increase in your ability to perceive sensations with an expansion of awareness. Keep going dude!
  2. @Dizzy ? truly amazing and inspiring thank you.
  3. @Raptorsin7 if you go down the lawyer road be careful, lawyers are some of the biggest moralists and also work the longest hours. As Brad Blanton put it in book Radical Honesty “lawyers are some of the most miserable sons of bitches” He is a famous Psychotherapist and his #1 clients are lawyers. Out of law school you can expect to work 70+ hours a week and by the time you make partner you will be a full blown workaholic.
  4. @How to be wise with her picture as your profile?
  5. @Strangeloop wait what?
  6. @ethanb121 I just replied to a thread helping you with weed addition. Pls do not ask for help if you’re going to just lie to us. You prob need psychedelics but not until you ditch the antidepressants.
  7. @ethanb121 little late to the party but here is some advice (from one weed smoker to another). First is you’re smoking way too much and your tolerance is too high. You need to give yourself at minimum 8 hrs between smoking sessions and ideally only smoke once a day for mediation or some spiritual purpose. Also, never before bed bc your sleep is affected more than you know. If you’re not dreaming, you’re smoking too much. Secondly, the amount you smoke per session is too high. Cut down the quantity of bud (by at least 75%) just a hit or two is more than enough. Thirdly, how you smoke is a problem. Anything but a vaporizer is shit and hurting you. As a health professional and athlete I highly advise vaporizing your weed. Not only is it better for your body but is a much cleaner high and the comedown is smoother. It’s also much better and produces more clarity during mediation. Lastly, when you make these changes it’s going to be very hard. Cravings will present and you will feel like you’re backsliding hard. You will become more depressed and anxious at first but I promise after a week or so your tolerance levels will acclimate and you will feel so much better than you did before. Best way to test if you’re smoking too much is if you’re not dreaming. Second best is if time seems to drag on slower than usual. If either is happening you’re doing too much and it’s holding you back. Or or you could just quit but if you’re anything like me you’ll go find other bad things to habits to put in its place (bad hard drugs/food/tv/alcohol/etc) which in my world that’s worse than weed. Hit me up if you want to discuss more.
  8. After listening to Leo’s content for years I’m starting to realize that significant growth isn’t going to be possible (at least at the rate Leo and some of these advanced forum people) without doing hardcore psychedelics like DMT and LSD. For those of us who want to awaken without these aids (like myself) I feel like it’s not possible and/or we are being left behind. It just seems like most of Leo’s content comes from tripping and unless we join him we are fucked and will be left behind eventually. Anyone else feel this way? Like I hear all this amazing content but most of it will never be actualized for us bc we don’t take these substances. Is it even possible to see the Truth without them? Is there even such a thing as a dharma teacher who doesn’t do these drugs? I realize this is my ego but guess what, I’m not awake so this is how I communicate, this is my reality. Don’t give me some answer like “all is love bro” and “it’s all an illusion”. So unhelpful.
  9. @Leo Gura can you replace yoga with vigorous physical fitness? (sprints, high intensity interval training, cycling etc...)
  10. @Leo Gura what happens when you stop taking these psychedelics? Say someone like yourself who does them often. What would happen if you took nothing for 1-2 years? Would you regress, backlash hard or be in a nasty dark night?
  11. @Inliytened1 I’m not giving up, no way. Just bummed I’m missing all the juiciness that I keep hearing about on Leo’s content and this forum.
  12. @Matt8800 I mentioned above why I won’t do them. Basically after an awesome shroom trip 3 yrs ago I had a hard basklash and relapsed on opiates. Took a year to get sober again.
  13. @tedens I’m trying man
  14. @DaneV yes comfortable, indeed. I get what you’re saying. The awakening was amazing but it wasn’t anything like Leo talks about after taking 5meo and LSD. Also it was 3 years ago and honestly I kinda forgot what it was like. It definitely propelled me to do spiritual work more seriously but I feel like I’m missing out. I know I’m projecting.
  15. @Inliytened1 you have had deep awakenings like Leo without psychedelics? How?
  16. @Haloman exactly, am I just spinning my wheels here trying to do all this spiritual work? I have 3-4 hours I can dedicate daily to this practice but I don’t think it’s enough.
  17. @DaneV I’ve done mushrooms before and had an awakening but after I had a big ego backlash and started doing drugs again (I’m an addict and I was sober, but relapsed a couple days after my trip). Took over a year to get sober again. Thats why I don’t want to try anything stronger like dmt or lsd.
  18. @Serotoninluv I honestly don’t know.
  19. @Truth Addict that is what I want. So do I find another teacher who teaches from a sober perspective? Do you have any suggestions?
  20. @Mikael89 I said “advanced” growth. Turquoise/non dual levels of you will.
  21. @SoonHei I don’t believe that only psychedelics can produce growth. I’ve had tons of growth and life is starting to get really awesome for me. I’m specifically wondering about high levels of awakening. Like I saw God shit and the universe is consciousness. My “belief” is that only is possible with psychedelics or NDE’s or something almost those lines.
  22. @Enlightenment then why does Leo do them so often? why does Leo need to take DMT 13 days in a row (he said that he did this on a solo retreat) to see realize Truth? Is that really what’s necessary to reach the levels of consciousness we are all after? Bc if so, I’m out.
  23. @Ero was it not true for you or are you just saying that?
