  1. Bravo sir, I will start using this immediately.
  2. Julien is great! Maybe some signs of very early Stage Yellow, but his stuff is mostly Stage 1 at the moment, in my opinion. Main reason, everything he talks about is very rooted in the physical and the practical, especially in the realm of social skills. There are some things that are higher than "being yourself", although that alone is something that the majority of people still need help achieveing, and I think watching his videos will make you a better person. That said, I wish someone would go through and improve his Wikipedia page. It's overly negative and outdated. He is a completely different person now.
  3. From two of the best prison films ever: The Shawshank Redemption (ending): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkxXGxa2JkU Felon (climax): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCtRhrRU4fU
  4. One of the best of all time.
  5. At least it's Rockstar so you know it'll be worth the wait!
  6. There are two Disneys: Disney as a creative company is the cornerstone of American pop culture, and I agree, has brought great memories to all of our lives (to this day!) This Disney will always make great films. Disney as a corporation is a purely capitalistic, cold hearted machine that has no values except to maximize profits. One gives us stuff like The Lion King. And the other gives us stuff like Mufasa...
  7. I love it! I actually included it in my most recent short story compilation that I make once a year. Stephen King is truly the master of genre fiction, not just horror but also sci-fi.
  8. Try to look at rejection as something neccesary. Think of it this way, even if you wanted to be friends with everyone in the world, you couldn't. You wouldn't have the time. Same thing with a partner, even more so. As long as you have some faith that at least one person will say yes to you, that's all you need. Put your time and energy into the people that say yes, not the ones who reject you. Not to say you shouldn't learn from your rejections, but stop taking them so seriously. Again, it's inevitable, or everyone would have billions of relationships and not be able to tend to any of them.
  9. Stage Blue, I'd say. From the woman's perspective, it would be a living hell keeping up the ruse of a "perfect marriage" when its anything but.
  10. AITA is easily the worst subreddit on the entire site. A bunch of keyboard warriors with a superiority complex acting as a verbally abusive judge and jury when ironically their biases are so extreme they'd never be selected on a real jury.
  11. This doesn't work if you have male only friend groups like me.
  12. When did I simplify humans to chimps? Literally all I said was that orgasm improves mood, and porn helps achieve orgasm. And look at Warren Buffett, he eats at McDonalds every day and he's almost 100. So everything is not as black and white as you say. Can you try to engage with a bit more nuance? And again, I take daily walks and drink plenty of water which certainly helps with "cellular renewal, bone density, muscle gain, mental health".
  13. The easiest way to be funny is to poke fun at the things we all take for granted as "true". In other words, observational humor.
  14. May not be the most practical skill in the world, but I can make infinite art. I write (and often record) a song every day and I write a film or television script every year without even trying. Somehow, I never run out of ideas.
  15. That lifestyle isn't as bad as you think. I'm a 20-something guy living that exact routine right now, and I imagine my T is very high because I'm very creative, motivated and easily aroused. Like you said, being horny is good, it's like your lifeforce right? (Speaking metaphorically). So if porn can help you get aroused to have sex or even masturbate, no harm in that. And the release of orgasming actually gives me energy and makes me more receptive and sensitive to pleasure from other things. Fast food also isn't that bad honestly, as long as you don't eat a lot of it. A Chipotle burrito, McDonalds burger, or medium pizza are pretty low on calories, and nowadays a lot smaller than they used to be. Honestly I think it's worse to drink a bunch of soda, eat at a greasy spoon or bar food or candy/ice cream everyday. The majority of people eat fast food regularly, even super fit people, in those small portions they give you nowadays. And as long as you eat it in moderation, you're fine. Exercise is only important if you really want to be fit. If you don't mind being normal weight or even slightly overweight, heavy exercise isn't neccesary as long as you watch what you eat. The key is to be active in general. I go on walks almost everyday and don't sit around for long. I stay on my feet and keep it moving. Obviously I can't speak for every man, and for some that lifestyle could be doing damage but I'm doing just fine and my last blood test was perfect. I also drink a lot of water (it's my main drink), so that could be a big factor in why I'm able to get away with all this.
  16. These are two of his best, for sure. I feel like watching all the Spiral Dynamics videos was the first step, getting the raw information. THESE are the videos that brought it all together in my mind!
  17. Yep, having an exclusively male social circle is a very real thing, doesn't seem to help with the relationship stuff. That's why the advice of "make friends first" always confuses me, it assumes you're good at making female friends.
  18. Anywhere we go to try and promote ourselves, we always get the same pushback "No self-promotion" "Stop spamming" "No one cares". And this isn't just in random comments sections or public places. Try and chat people up at local business, they don't want to hear about your business. In subreddits for sharing music or making music, they discourage you from sharing your own music or, God for bid, trying to SELL your own music! Try selling your movie to any movie subreddit and see how it works out. Your post will get removed within hours. It seems so contradictory to me. Like, it would be one thing if society didn't encourage kids to follow their dreams... But c'mon. You can't tell people to follow their dreams and then accuse them of "spamming" the moment we try. Anyone else upset about this?
  19. @something_else I don't know about this. I have plenty of friends and I can't find a girlfriend.
  20. Fascinating video. I wonder what it would be like to become one of the nomads traveling through the Twilight Zone...
  21. @zazen Excellent work. Your posts are exactly the kind of indepth, nuanced political discussion I come to this subforum for. Thank you.
  22. @Ishanga The disipline you have towards your spiritual work is admirable, but the answer is not to socially isloate yourself. You were put on this Earth with other humans for a reason. At least that's what I believe.
  23. Wonderful video. The production value, content, narration, etc. is top tier.
